Urban Supreme Evil Young Master

In the early morning of the next day, Lu Yu woke up from his sleep, and after having breakfast, he drove straight towards Victory Group.

Slowly parking the car in the parking lot of Victory Group, Lu Yu looked at the surrounding employees dressed in suits and appearing quite competent, involuntarily showing a slight smile.

”Ah, it’s been a long time since I’ve been on time for work like this.”

At this moment, looking at the bustling employees of Victory Group, he stretched lazily, then stepped into Victory Group.

It must be said, the hot bath he soaked in yesterday significantly improved the quality of Lu Yu’s sleep; now he was feeling refreshed, even his steps were lighter.

Entering the lobby of Victory Group, in an instant, Wu Song saw Lu Yu and immediately ran out, saying, ”Boss, President Leng wants you to attend an emergency meeting!”

”Emergency meeting?”

Upon hearing Wu Song’s words, Lu Yu frowned and then said, ”What’s the urgent meeting for early in the morning?”

Saying this, Lu Yu paused and continued, ”Besides, I’m the manager of the security department; what does an emergency meeting have to do with me?”

”Boss, the emergency meeting requires every department manager to attend, including our security department.”

This moment, Wu Song spoke with a face full of helplessness.

The emergency meeting might be very important and critical for other departments, but for the security department, attending it is completely a torment because they can’t intervene in the conversation topics. Besides listening to other departments’ arguments, there’s essentially nothing valuable to do.

Hearing Wu Song’s words, Lu Yu shook his head helplessly and said, ”Alright, I’ll go now!”

Lu Yu lightly patted Wu Song’s shoulder, stepped into the elevator, and headed straight for Victory Group’s large conference room.

Victory Group’s large conference room is on the eighth floor of the company, used for holding meetings by all company executives. Lu Yu directly took the elevator to arrive at the conference room, where he found everyone already seated.

Xia Bing, wearing a white small suit, sat at the vice president’s position, carrying a hint of maturity amidst her prettiness. On the other side, Wen Ya, dressed in a black professional outfit and wearing glasses, appeared mature and intellectual, giving an invisible seductive feeling.

Xia Bing and Wen Ya, left and right, black and white, were sitting beside Leng Qingqiu, evidently as his trusted aides.

Seeing Lu Yu entering the conference room casually, Leng Qingqiu’s eyes flashed a trace of special expression, and he said, ”Well, now that Manager Lu is here, let the meeting begin!”

”He’s just a security department manager, why wait specially for him?”

At this moment, a man in a suit spoke softly.

As soon as these words came out, Lu Yu glanced at this man faintly, squinted slightly, then found his seat and sat down, appearing calm.

Seeing Lu Yu seated, Leng Qingqiu swept his eyes across everyone present, then looked at Xia Bing beside him and said, ”Xia Bing, tell everyone the specifics.”

”Alright.”

Upon hearing this, Xia Bing stood up and said, ”Everyone, the reason for calling this emergency meeting is because one of our shipments has been maliciously detained by a large gang in Beigang City, requesting three times the shipment value to release it. That’s why President Leng asked everyone to discuss this matter.”

This moment, although Xia Bing’s words were very serious, her gaze intentionally or unintentionally drifted towards Lu Yu, with eyes hinting at a flowing meaning.

”The shipment was detained?”

Hearing this, the man from before spoke slowly, ”What they’re doing is illegal; we can completely communicate with the local police to get them to release the shipment!”

”Naive!”

Hearing this statement, Lu Yu shook his head involuntarily, showing a slight smile.

If such an incident happened in other port cities, then it could be resolved by this method, but Beigang City is the exception!

Due to special reasons, Beigang City is an autonomous region, different from other places, with numerous underground gangs. But for special reasons, they persist, and the local police can’t do anything, so resolving this through the police is entirely futile.

”Manager Lu, why are you laughing? If there’s anything I said wrong, you can point it out.”

At this moment, seeing Lu Yu’s smiling face, the man looked displeased and spoke coldly.

”May I know your name?”

Upon hearing this man speak, Lu Yu smiled faintly and asked.

”My surname is Miao.”

Hearing Lu Yu’s words, the man tidied his clothes and said, ”Manager of the administration department!”

”So, it’s Manager Miao.”

Hearing the man’s words, Lu Yu said, ”Have you ever been to Beigang City? Know any basic situation of Beigang City?”

”I’m not quite sure.”

Upon hearing this, Manager Miao said, ”But does that matter?”

”Of course, it matters!”

Hearing Manager Miao’s words, Lu Yu said, ”The situation in Beigang City is truly very complex, where gang numbers even exceed those of companies, and various forces are intricately intertwined. If you haven’t been there, haven’t you watched any local gang movies?”

”In such a place, calling a phone thinking you can reclaim the shipment, if that’s not naive, what is?”

Lu Yu’s tone was calm, carrying a hint of playful teasing as he looked at Manager Miao, speaking with a banter in his expression.

With these words, Manager Miao’s face instantly changed, looking somewhat unpleasant. Despite being in charge of administrative work all along, he really was unaware of the situation in Beigang City.

Up until now, he realized that Beigang City’s situation was indeed this complex!

Having heard Lu Yu’s statement, Leng Qingqiu also shook his head, saying, ”The situation is just as Manager Lu described; otherwise, we wouldn’t be having this emergency meeting. Now, let’s all brainstorm together and think about how this matter should be handled?”
