Urban Supreme Evil Young Master

The next day at noon, Lu Yu drove straight to the Oroma Restaurant.

Oroma Restaurant is definitely one of the few and most authentic Western restaurants in LA City. The dishes here are generally much more expensive than other places, but correspondingly, the taste is not something that can easily be matched by other places.

Meng Yue had already arrived at Oroma Restaurant. Today she was wearing a striped casual T-shirt. Her sharp attire, coupled with her rather stern appearance, gave off a stunning beauty that instantly attracted many glances.

Even though Meng Yue wasn’t in her police uniform, it was hard for anyone to ignore the presence of such a beauty based on her looks alone.

Upon seeing Lu Yu enter the restaurant, Meng Yue waved her hand, looking quite happy — a stark contrast to the resentful look she wore last night.

Seeing Meng Yue wave, Lu Yu sat directly in front of her and said, ”Hey, beauty, what’s up with you? The Western food here is really expensive. Did you invite me here for a meal?”

”Just come when I ask you to. Why so much nonsense?”

Looking at Lu Yu, Meng Yue used her usual police force demeanor and whispered, ”Anyway, it’s not my money. Not eating would be a waste.”

”What?”

Upon hearing Meng Yue’s words, Lu Yu was slightly taken aback, feeling faintly like he had been tricked.

”It’s nothing. Just relax and wait here. As a police officer, how could I possibly harm you?”

Meng Yue said impatiently, with an evident tone of annoyance.

Hearing this, Lu Yu helplessly shook his head and glanced around.

It was peak meal time, and the Oroma Restaurant was bustling with dining customers, with business looking quite good. Seeing this, Lu Yu was just about to say something.

At that moment, a very sentimental piece of music started playing in the restaurant, filling the already nice environment with a touch of romance.

Accompanying the music, a tall and well-dressed man slowly walked in from the door, pushing a specially made cart in front of him. It was densely packed with roses, totaling 999 blooms!

The roses were arranged in a heart shape on the cart, looking extremely romantic, certainly enough to make any girl scream.

”Meng Yue, please come over!”

The man slowly spoke, and his deep call immediately echoed through the restaurant’s speakers.

Hearing this, Lu Yu was slightly stunned and instantly realized what was happening.

Damn, he had indeed been played by this little girl, Meng Yue. This was clearly about a man wanting her to come out for a public confession, and now he had unintentionally become Meng Yue’s shield!

Thinking of this, Lu Yu was about to say something, but Meng Yue spoke first, ”Cut the crap. Just tell me if you’re going to help or not.”

Hearing this, Lu Yu was utterly speechless. He looked at Meng Yue and said, ”Beauty, I would help even if you just told me directly. Can you be more straightforward next time?”

”I’ll correct it next time.”

Hearing Lu Yu’s words, Meng Yue stuck out her tongue, looking especially cute.

”Okay, but before I help you, shouldn’t you first tell me who this guy is?”

Looking at the playful and cute Meng Yue, Lu Yu no longer accused her and directly asked, ”A guy daring to pull such a stunt must be not that common.”

”His name is Li Bo, a witness in a criminal case a few days ago. He sent me flowers a few times, but I turned him down. I didn’t expect him to shamelessly invite me out like this, so I called you to help reject him,” Meng Yue said, clearly displeased.

”I see that he’s pretty good-looking, and his clothes must be worth at least a couple hundred thousand. He seems like a rich second generation. Why didn’t you accept?” Lu Yu asked, grinning as he looked at Meng Yue.

Seeing that Lu Yu was joking even now, Meng Yue couldn’t help but retort playfully, ”My body was seen by some pervert, and until that pervert pays the price, how could I accept anyone else?”

Though Meng Yue’s words were filled with bravado, her face flushed slightly.

Hearing this, Lu Yu helplessly smiled. Although it was a misunderstanding, he did indeed see Meng Yue’s body when they first met, an undeniable fact. Therefore, he didn’t say much more.

”Meng Yue, please come to the front!”

Li Bo continued to call out with feigned emotion.

”Are you sure you want to reject him?”

Hearing Li Bo’s call, Lu Yu asked.

”Of course, who’d want to accept someone like that?” Meng Yue replied confidently.

”Then it’s simple!”

Hearing this, Lu Yu grabbed Meng Yue’s hand, instantly stood up, and pulled her directly in front of Li Bo, scrutinizing him with a hint of cold amusement in his eyes.

Originally, many dining guests in the restaurant were watching with interest, but the moment Lu Yu pulled Meng Yue forward, the previously romantic atmosphere became awkward.

The girl being confessed to was now held by another man’s hand in front, leaving everyone present with intriguing expressions.

Is this a situation where the mistress’s confession meets the original girlfriend?

At this moment, Meng Yue’s delicate face was a deep red, as it was the first time she had been pulled by a man to stand in front of everyone in such a public setting.

Seeing the scene, Li Bo’s originally hopeful expression turned gloomy. He looked at Lu Yu, his eyes flashing with a hint of coldness.

Meanwhile, the surrounding music stopped, and everything fell into silence!

The restaurant initially agreed to Li Bo’s request because they were happy to help a romantic gesture. However, seeing the beauty had a boyfriend, they didn’t want to assist the mistress’s advancement.

With the surroundings quiet now, Lu Yu gave a cold smile, looked at Li Bo, and said, ”What’s with the howling?”

A simple question, yet it carried an undertone of challenge or provocation, as Lu Yu stared straight at Li Bo, his eyes filled with a cold smile.

Upon hearing this, all the customers focused their eyes on Li Bo, curious about how the confessor would respond.
