Genshin x Minecraft: Building the Temple of Virtue

The Cryo Archon knew Skybracer.

After all, he had once been one of Morax’s strongest subordinates. During the gatherings of the Seven Archons, which were often held in Liyue, the Cryo Archon had seen Skybracer many times.

But in her memory…

Hadn’t Skybracer already perished at the hands of a demon god?

So why was he standing here alive and well now?!

The bewilderment belonged to the Cryo Archon, while Mooncarver felt only irritation.

He had arrived in this world just this morning, intending to enjoy some peace and quietly study how to build a beautiful house.

But unexpectedly, Skybracer had shown up out of nowhere, insisting on comparing whose horns looked better.

Ever since his resurrection—perhaps because of having once lost them—Skybracer had been paying extra attention to his horns.

Every day, he spent at least three hours carefully maintaining them with all kinds of rare herbs and ointments.

That pose, that dedication, made Mooncarver complain many times that Skybracer could outdo the finest actors at Yunhan Opera Troupe in makeup.

Perhaps, because of all those complaints, Skybracer had taken it personally.

As Moon Carver was still wondering how to escape Skybracer’s pestering, he suddenly noticed Ningguang and the Cryo Archon not far away.

His eyes lit up, and he quickly shoved Skybracer aside and strode over.

”Your Excellency, Cryo Archon, Lady Tianquan, what brings you here? Did Mister Ryen send me on an important task?”

As he spoke, Moon Carver desperately gave Ningguang meaningful looks.

Amused but willing to help, Ningguang nodded slightly, giving him an excuse to slip away.

”From the Marauder’s Watchtower, Ryen asked True Lord Moon Carver to retrieve the Undying Totems gathered during this period.”

Moon Carver let out a sigh of relief, gave a quick bow, and hurriedly teleported away.

Though he had been happy when Skybracer was first resurrected, now…

It was better to stay as far away from that guy as possible!

Getting close to Skybracer only led to misfortune!

Of course, Moon Carver would never admit he was a little jealous of Skybracer’s horns.

Skybracer pursed his lips, silently mocking Moon Carver in his heart.

Then, at a leisurely pace, he walked forward.

”Tianquan, why are Mister Ryen and the Lord not here?”

Ningguang softly replied:

”Ryen and Morax went hunting beyond the Dark Sea. There’s nothing urgent today—I just brought the Cryo Archon here to look around this world.”

Skybracer wasn’t at all surprised by Ningguang’s use of the word hunting.

Having witnessed Ryen’s power with his own eyes, Skybracer thought, even if the Dark Sea exploded, Ryen and Morax would be unharmed.

Hunting, after all,

was just that the prey had changed—from wild beasts to demon gods.

Skybracer turned his head to the Cryo Archon, smiling faintly.

”Lady Tsaritsa, it has been a long time… I hear you’ve been preparing for a rebellion against Celestia in recent years?”

The Cryo Archon gave a slight nod, speaking softly:

”That’s true. But now, I have a new plan. Speaking of which… has True Lord Skybracer already been resurrected?”

Skybracer raised an eyebrow, casually touching his horns.

”Isn’t it obvious? Thanks to Mister Ryen and the Lord, I’ve already been back for quite some time.”

”By the way, you didn’t know? Quite a few immortals have been resurrected recently—you should have seen them by now…”

The Cryo Archon let out a wry smile.

”Is resurrection that simple…? But honestly, I haven’t seen any other resurrected immortals.”

”Resurrection, huh…”

Skybracer clicked his tongue lightly and said:

”It’s not exactly simple. The main difficulty lies in finding fragments of our souls and gathering certain resources from this world.”

”You’ve never heard about the Resurrection Totems?”

The Cryo Archon turned to Rosalyne, who spoke softly:

”Your Majesty, I wrote you a letter about it…”

The Cryo Archon looked slightly embarrassed.

Truth be told, she had hardly had time to read Rosalyne’s letters.

Things in Snezhnaya had been in such chaos that she had barely a moment to rest, let alone go through correspondence.

Naturally, she hadn’t learned anything about Resurrection Totems.

The only related news she had seen recently was about Tartaglia, who, due to carelessness, had wasted a Totem of Undying.

At that time, the Cryo Archon had just mobilized seven hundred men. When she heard the news, she stopped recruiting further and stormed over in fury.

As a result, Tartaglia had been thoroughly beaten.

”This world has many peculiar traits. If you have the time, you should stay longer and get familiar with it,” Ningguang suggested with a smiling tone.

The Cryo Archon was indeed inclined to do so.

For the moment, the problems in Snezhnaya were far from solvable. Rather than wasting effort playing political games with the Jester and the others, it seemed wiser to focus on what could be gained in this world.

Pressing her lips together, the Cryo Archon looked at Skybracer.

”So, as long as there are soul fragments, one can be resurrected?”

Skybracer thought for a moment, then explained:

”Mister Ryen said that the fragments must be imprinted with this world’s mark before a Resurrection Totem can take effect.”

”As I recall, I was resurrected because the Lord and the others brought my soul fragments into this world.”

”Thinking carefully, the hardest part should indeed be finding those fragments.”

Hearing this, the Cryo Archon nodded thoughtfully and said no more.

Skybracer, meanwhile, decided to go show off his horns to others. After greeting Ningguang and the rest, he strolled away leisurely with his hands behind his back.

His pair of horns glimmered brilliantly under the sunlight, as though carved from fine jade.

Ningguang and the others had to admit—although Skybracer was unbearably smug, his horns truly were stunning.

”What an unfathomable world, to even allow resurrection…” the Cryo Archon sighed.

At her side, Rosalyne spoke softly:

”This is precisely why I wanted you to enter this world. Once you’ve been here, the imprint of this world remains upon you. Even if some misfortune befalls you, you can still be revived through its Resurrection Totems.”

The Cryo Archon was slightly taken aback and asked in a low voice:

”So, if I were to perish in Teyvat now… you could still resurrect me here?”

”That’s right!” Rosalyne nodded firmly, then subtly hinted at the Cryo Archon once more.
