Genshin x Minecraft: Building the Temple of Virtue

Back in the MC world, it was raining in the Overworld today, so everyone returned to the villa to stay inside.

Madam Ping and Yixiao remained behind to guard the place. Although the main Qianyan Army forces were busy exploring and pioneering, that didn’t mean there were no stationed troops left to defend.

Through long-distance communication, Ryen checked in with Dashi and his team.

Their progress was fast—they had already traveled far, leaving the grasslands well behind and even crossing two mountain ranges.

Everyone was fine. Last night, the Second Unit had encountered enemies wielding hot weapons, but they were easily wiped out. Other than that, nothing particularly noteworthy happened.

They hadn’t found any suitable location to establish a base either. Either the resources were too scarce, or the environment was unsuitable for settlement.

Ryen told them to continue exploring. After all, the world was vast—even walking in a straight line for three to five years wouldn’t bring them to its end.

Meanwhile, the Nether unit had obtained two more Wither Skeleton skulls yesterday. Zhongli’s group had also found Minghai’s soul fragment last night, right within his own cave mansion.

Now that it was brought back, once the Twilight Forest expedition was over, they could begin preparing for his resurrection.

That only left the End.

Dragon-slaying was progressing rapidly—they had obtained fourteen dragon eggs just yesterday. And that was with little experience.

By today, once they were more familiar with the process, they expected to gather over twenty.

The vision of forming a thousand-strong Dragon Rider legion was quickly becoming reality.

Everyone only mentioned it in passing, before moving on.

If this progress had been made before the Twilight Forest appeared, it would have been a huge blessing. But now, everyone’s focus was on the Twilight Forest—or more precisely, the Druid’s staff.

Albedo returned the Thunder Staff to Ryen with a bitter smile.

”Mr. Ryen, last night I ran some basic data records on this staff. Beyond that, I didn’t gain much.”

Ryen wasn’t surprised. He nodded.

”Understandable.”

”There’s another matter.”

Albedo hesitated for a moment, then pointed at the staff.

”Last night I tested this staff on a sheep. The effect was… terrifying. The poor thing’s flesh melted instantly, leaving nothing but bones. So, if possible, I advise against using necromancy in Teyvat. It’s a bit… against the laws of heaven.”

Ryen raised his brows.

”That dangerous? Here in the MC world, this magic doesn’t feel strong at all…”

Albedo shook his head.

”I don’t know why. But in Teyvat, it’s definitely dangerous.”

”Also, regarding those Naga scales—I haven’t finished my research yet. But last night, when I held a scale in hand, my elemental energy recharged at triple the normal speed in areas rich with elemental power.

On top of that, my elemental damage output also increased somewhat.

I believe these scales have far greater potential. But in Teyvat, if you need them, you could craft them into pendants.

Of course, I don’t recommend that—that’s the least efficient option. If you can wait, I’ll find a way to maximize the Naga scales’ true power.”

Hearing this, everyone couldn’t help but click their tongues.

”Elemental energy recharge increases that much?”

Tartaglia’s expression showed some interest.

”Looks like we’ll have to farm more Nagas from now on…”

”By the way, Mr. Tartaglia,”

Albedo suddenly recalled something at his words.

”If you don’t mind, could you lend me your Delusion for a while? I might be able to fuse the Naga scales into it.”

”At the very least, that should remove the negative effects of the Delusion and even enhance its power.”

Tartaglia’s heart leapt with joy.

He never expected such a great opportunity to fall into his lap.

He was just about to nod in agreement, but Diluc was quicker to respond.

”No need for his. I have a Delusion stored at home. In a few days, Kaeya will bring it over.”

”Meanwhile, you can also study other potential uses of the Naga scales.”

Albedo paused for a moment, then nodded.

”That works too.”

Tartaglia looked like he wanted to cry as he watched the prize slip away from his grasp, glaring resentfully at Diluc.

”Come on, Master Diluc, you don’t even use a Delusion!”

Diluc cast him a faint glance and replied coolly:

”I’ll be needing it soon enough.”

Rosalyne, however, paid little attention to their squabble. She spoke softly:

”If the Naga scales can successfully enhance a Delusion, I’ll request the Tsaritsa to send us a batch. Once modified, everyone here will receive one.”

Ryen, who was busy sorting supplies on the side, instantly perked up.

”Seriously?”

Rosalyne curved her lips into a faint smile and answered gently:

”It’s only Delusions. Mr. Ryen has already helped us tremendously—we ought to show our goodwill.”

”If you’d like, I can even request seven Delusions of different elements from Her Majesty, have them crafted into a bracelet or necklace, and gift them to you.”

Ryen clapped his hands decisively.

”Deal!”

Then he gave Zhongli a meaningful look and sighed theatrically:

”Look at her resolve, and then look at certain other people’s resolve…”

”It’s been so long, yet I’ve asked for a bit of help and still haven’t seen much progress…”

Zhongli’s mouth twitched. With a sigh, he reached into his robes and handed Ryen a dim Vision.

”Found this in some ruins last night. Cryo Vision. Unawakened.”

”Just one, huh…”

Ryen pursed his lips, took it, and examined it, letting out a sigh.

”Well, one’s better than none.”

Zhongli nearly rolled his eyes.

This was a Vision, not a Delusion.

Others would treat a single one like a priceless treasure, yet Ryen really wanted to string them together like trinkets?

Even an ownerless Vision, if auctioned, would fetch over a billion Mora with ease.

”So, how do you activate this thing?”

Ryen fiddled with it for quite a while, but the Vision showed no reaction. His patience quickly wore thin.

What he wanted was a dazzling display of elemental power.

If it didn’t shine, could it even be called a Vision?
