I, the Destined Villain, Start by Controlling the Saint

Sword Tomb EncounterXiao Fan felt the System’s little mood for the first time. Will she climb out and hit me later?

No, I must undergo more training to suppress her!

”Master, there seems to be something there. I smell the fragrance of treasure, meow!”

Miao Xiaoqing followed the compass’s guidance, meowing.

She had refined the compass and was using it for treasure hunting.

With the compass, Xiao Fan finally had a target to guide him, so he decided to pick up some treasures.

While Xiao Fan was leisurely picking up treasures, the Child of Destiny began to exert himself.

A young man with a broken sword on his back and a resolute face discovered a Sword Tomb in the Battleground Forbidden Land.

The Sword Tomb was vast, covering tens of thousands of miles, and in addition to its size, the density of swords was very high; there was an Immortal Sword stuck in the ground every three steps.

The grade of these Immortal Swords was not high; most were rusty, and only a few were well-preserved.

But there was no resisting the sheer quantity!

”So many Immortal Swords! Although they are broken and no Sword Spirit resides within them, there are enough of them!”

”My Nine Xuan Heavenly Yang Sword is inherently fiery and loves to devour other Immortal Swords. It’s even better that these broken swords have no Sword Spirits; it saves a lot of effort in devouring them.”

The Immortal Sword on his back also trembled with excitement at the sight of this pile of swords.

If it could devour all of them, it could not only reshape the broken sword but even advance to a higher level!

The young man carrying the broken sword looked around, seeing no one, as if no one had yet discovered this place.

”Quickly devour these swords.”

There was a Restriction outside the Sword Tomb, and the young man with the broken sword was contemplating how to quietly break the Restriction without causing a commotion.

After all, with so many swords here, if he attracted people, he would get fewer swords.

He walked around, observing, and accidentally stepped into an empty space, unexpectedly stepping into an underground passage and sliding into the Sword Tomb in a muddled way.

The young man, who had originally felt a bit unlucky, burst into wild laughter when he saw the various Immortal Swords within reach.

”I actually got in like this! It seems this Sword Tomb is fated with me!” He said with a laugh, feeling like he was the chosen one.

Without further ado, the young man immediately began to act.

He drew the broken sword from his back and walked back and forth in the Sword Tomb, touching various Immortal Swords stuck in the ground with the broken sword.

The moment the two touched, a scorching high temperature instantly transmitted, melting the broken swords stuck in the Sword Tomb into molten iron.

The Nine Xuan Heavenly Yang Sword seemed to have a mouth, actually sucking all the molten iron clean and injecting it into itself.

”When this Immortal Sword was intact, it was probably a third-grade. Devour it.”

”So strong! It actually added a few more Sword Vein patterns to the Nine Xuan Heavenly Yang Sword, reaching an incredible ninety-seven thousand.”

”When it reaches one hundred thousand patterns, the Nine Xuan Heavenly Yang Sword will undergo its transformation, advancing to a second-grade Immortal Sword.”

”I don’t know what grade it will ultimately advance to. The Heaven Yang Sword’s material is incredibly high, so it probably can advance to a first-grade Immortal Sword.”

He repeated this process.

The patterns on the originally broken Nine Xuan Heavenly Yang Sword grew at an incredible speed, and even the broken gap healed.

Not only that, as the Nine Xuan Heavenly Yang Sword devoured more Immortal Swords, the original broken section actually grew back.

This made him both surprised and delighted. Could it be that the broken sword was finally going to be completely restored?

He, who wielded this Immortal Sword, understood its power best.

Even in its broken state, it was an unstoppable Sharp Weapon. If it were fully restored, it would definitely be a peerless Immortal Sword.

He sped up his movements, and the patterns on it also increased one by one. Finally, the number reached one hundred thousand.

The Heaven Yang Sword trembled as it flew towards the sky, and the outermost layer of iron skin covering it cracked inch by inch, scattering as it continuously shook.

It was transforming!

The Sword Spirit in the natural sword transmitted, ”Ye Feng, kid, I am about to advance to a second-grade Immortal Sword, which might cause some unusual phenomena. You should retreat for a bit.”

”Okay, is there anything you need my help with?” Ye Feng asked.

”After my transformation is complete, I will need to devour Immortal Swords to become stronger. Go and collect those broken Immortal Swords for me, regardless of good or bad, high or low grade, just pick them all up, the more the better!”

”If I devour this entire Sword Tomb, I can advance to a first-grade Immortal Sword, and still only be one Opportunity away from advancing to a Sacred Artifact.”

”This Opportunity is very difficult; it requires passing the Saint Tribulation with someone who has not yet become a Saint. However, even if we don’t pass this Saint Tribulation, it won’t be a big deal.”

”If I devour all the Immortal Swords here, I can become the number one Immortal Sword below Sacred Artifacts!”

The Sword Spirit spoke with grandeur. It even clearly understood how to become a Sacred Sword, indicating a significant background.

Ye Feng’s heart also burned with excitement upon hearing this. The number one Immortal Sword below Sacred Artifacts—wouldn’t that make him invincible in the world?!

As if understanding his thoughts, the Sword Spirit of the Nine Xuan Heavenly Yang Sword said, ”Once I reshape my Sword Body, I will accompany you to cut down all enemies in the world.”

”Good, it’s a deal!”

Ye Feng was full of motivation, tirelessly rushing around to collect various Immortal Swords.

As he was collecting, he accidentally cut his finger on a broken sword. The broken sword absorbed the blood and surprisingly became brilliantly golden.

Not only that, the broken sword immediately transformed into a stream of light and rushed into his Sea of Consciousness.

It turned out that this was once a first-grade Immortal Sword broken by a Sacred Artifact!

It also contained the Legacy of Sword Immortal Li Taibai.

”Killing one person in ten steps, traveling a thousand li without leaving a trace.”

”When the deed is done, brush off one’s clothes and hide one’s achievements and fame deeply.”

”...”

Ye Feng felt as if he had found a treasure. He stopped picking up swords and directly began refining the Sword Immortal Legacy there.

The transformation of the Nine Xuan Heavenly Yang Sword was too brilliant, causing a celestial phenomenon. In an instant, a dazzling golden light pillar shot up into the sky.

Seen from a distance, it was the shape of a sword, a Sharp Weapon piercing directly into the sky!

The brilliant light shone, and as expected, it was noticed by others.

”Saint Xu Kun, look quickly, there’s a fluctuation of unusual phenomena over there. A rare treasure must be appearing.”

”Good, my footwork, practiced for two and a half years, is finally put to use.”

”Charge!”

...

”Boss, something is appearing over there.”

”What, treasure! Say no more, you 24 people follow me.”

Just a few steps after rising, a Vicious Beast suddenly jumped up and slapped the Boss’s head, hitting him squarely.

”Boss, why did you crash?”

...

More and more people gathered, and this Sword Tomb was exposed to public view.

”Holy cow, how can there be such a huge Sword Tomb?”

”Isn’t the Battleground Forbidden Land a piece of land dragged over from Chaos? That shouldn’t be.”

”Idiot, the Holy Temple must have made prior arrangements, cleared out the strong enemies above, and set up Opportunities.”

”That makes sense.”

”...”

Everyone looked at the Sword Tomb, where a divine Sharp Weapon was slowly transforming within the shining Sword Light.

”Why are you just standing there? Break the Restriction!”

”Do you still want to get the treasures inside?”

”Come on, let’s work together to break it.”

Everyone worked together to break the Restriction, and the waves of vibrations reached the Sword Tomb, waking Ye Feng from his Epiphany.

”Damn it, why are so many people here? My sword hasn’t finished transforming yet.”

”If they break the Restriction, these swords will definitely be divided among them.”

Ye Feng was as anxious as a monkey, scratching his ears and cheeks.

But no matter how anxious he was, it was useless. Under the combined efforts of many Prodigies, it was only a matter of time before the outer Restriction was broken.

”No, I must collect the usable Immortal Swords before they come in. Don’t bother with the broken ones. Every little bit counts.”

Ye Feng began to busy himself. This time, he only picked up the good Immortal Swords, leaving the broken ones.

As time passed, more and more people gathered.

Upon seeing this Sword Shadow, Sword Changkong rushed over.

However, the journey was long, and he encountered some Vicious Beasts along the way, which delayed him for some time.

Arriving before the Sword Tomb, seeing that the Restriction was not yet broken and the divine sword had not fallen into others’ hands, he let out a sigh of relief.

”I’m not too late,” Sword Changkong said with a smile.

Looking at those who were working together to break the Restriction, Sword Changkong shouted, ”You are too weak; even if I give you half a day, you won’t break it. Let me do it.”

Everyone turned around and saw a young man with a dignified demeanor and a confident face mixed with a hint of arrogance. His disdainful and unrestrained aura was exceptionally sharp.

Before everyone could react, Sword Changkong made his move. He held his breath and focused, emitting an extremely sharp Sword Intent.

Invisibly, a giant Sword Shadow appeared behind him, flickering in and out of sight.

The sharp Sword Intent was boundless. A giant sword, slowly unsheathing, rose from the sky and slowly moved above the Sword Tomb.

Sword Changkong’s robes fluttered without wind, and the surging Sword Qi made his clothes rustle, even blowing his long hair from his forehead to the back of his head.

He seemed like an ethereal, peerless Sword Immortal appearing out of nowhere.

”So strong! Retreat quickly!”

”Saint Xu Kun, let’s retreat quickly! He is not someone we can contend with.”

”Boss, you don’t want to crash, do you?”

...

Everyone immediately retreated. Of course, some fearless individuals shouted, ”Where did this stinky fish come from? I, Zhang Ben Yihan, am the first to disagree! If you have the guts, come one-on-one—”

Before he could finish speaking, a hundred-thousand-foot-tall Sword Shadow descended from the sky with the force of thunder, crashing heavily onto the Restriction of the Sword Tomb.

The protective shield on the Restriction opened, and in the fierce collision and friction with the Sword Shadow, sparks flew everywhere, and waves of surging Qi surged.

The Demon Child was battered and bruised by the Sword Shadow, rolling down covered in dust.

His legs twitched, tears and snot flowed, spilling soybean milk all over the ground.

Sword Changkong was indeed a Saint’s disciple. The Restriction that these people couldn’t break together, he alone could shatter.

The Restriction cracked, no longer obstructing.

The people gathered outside immediately rushed in. This Sword Tomb was ten thousand zhang in circumference; there must be many good swords.

As for the Immortal Sword that was undergoing transformation, it was clearly not something they could interfere with. Everyone was sensible and made way, not disturbing the Grandmaster, Sword Changkong.

Sword Changkong was very satisfied with his actions. The benefit he gained in the Battleground Forbidden Land was this invisible giant sword.

Retrieving the invisible giant sword, Sword Changkong flew towards the transforming Nine Yang Heaven Profound Sword.

His eyes gleamed with excitement; he had clearly encountered a good sword.

”What a divine Sharp Weapon.”

”Its grade is only second-grade, but its material is actually Saint-grade.”

”No, this is a growth-type Immortal Sword, capable of growing alongside the Sword Cultivator who uses it.”

Sword Changkong was a Saint’s disciple and also an experienced Sword Cultivator. He recognized the uniqueness of this Immortal Sword at a glance.

”It’s about to complete its transformation. Let me lend you a hand.”

He took out a purple-gold gourd, and inside, a divine light of Geng Metal actually flickered.

He was adding ingredients to the Immortal Sword!

Seeing someone approaching the Nine Xuan Heavenly Yang Sword, Ye Feng immediately rushed over, but he was stopped by a voice transmission from the Sword Spirit of the Nine Xuan Heavenly Yang Sword, telling him not to act rashly.

”Don’t disturb him!”

Ye Feng knew that the Heaven Yang Sword had its own thoughts, so he chose to observe from the side.

After adding Geng Metal, the Nine Xuan Heavenly Yang Sword’s sharpness increased by another three points.

Sword Changkong laughed, ”You also have fire-attribute patterns. I just happen to have a Li Fire Crystal. Adding it will definitely elevate your fire attribute to a higher level.”

With that, he added the Li Fire Crystal.

He was like a Grandmaster of the Dao of the Sword, nurturing a peerless treasure sword.

Geng Metal, Li Fire—these divine materials were extremely precious treasures among the Five Elements, and he unreservedly added them to this Immortal Sword.

This showed his fondness for this sword.

Finally.

After two and a half days, this Immortal Sword finally stopped transforming.

The Sword Body trembled continuously, humming, and a divine light streaked across, drawing a white, sharp Sword Qi across the sky.

Seeing that the divine sword had finally reached Major Achievement.

Sword Changkong let out a long breath. He was about to reach out and grasp the hilt, but he was stopped by a shout.

It was Ye Feng!

”Stop! This is my item! Are you trying to snatch it and provoke a conflict?”
