Naruto: End of the Shinobi World

”What exactly does the Chakra Fruit Kaguya consumed do? Does it merely restore her power and give her an extra eye?”

”It has to be more than that! Didn’t she say it was meant to be ’offered’ to her clan? That must be an extraordinary treasure—maybe it contains a power we can’t even comprehend!”

”Isn’t the most terrifying thing the Infinite Tsukuyomi? In a single instant, so many people lost consciousness and became puppets… What kind of technique is that?”

”Shh… Did you miss the most important part? Kaguya was afraid! She’s powerful enough to create a scene like the end of the world with a wave of her hand—and yet she fears her ’clan.’ Just how strong must the Ōtsutsuki Clan be? Even someone like her was merely their… ’planter’?”

That thought sent a chill through countless shinobi, as though they had glimpsed an even more despair-inducing shadow lurking in the depths of the cosmos.

—

The Heavenly Curtain continued to advance.

Time flowed swiftly.

At last, the scene settled upon a day when two infants lay beside Kaguya.

She gave them names—

Hagoromo.

Hamura.

The camera zoomed closer.

The babies opened their eyes.

Both pairs were pure white—

Byakugan.

”WHAT?!”

The shinobi world erupted—especially Konohagakure and the Hyūga Clan.

”Wait! Isn’t the Sage of Six Paths—Hagoromo Ōtsutsuki—supposed to have the Rinnegan?! And didn’t his sons, Indra and Asura, become the ancestors of the Uchiha Clan and Senju Clan? How does he have Byakugan at birth?!”

”Exactly! Earlier, the Heavenly Curtain said Hagoromo’s younger brother, Ōtsutsuki Hamura, became the ancestor of the Hyūga Clan and possessed the Byakugan. I assumed one brother had Sharingan and the other Byakugan! Why do they both have Byakugan?!”

”This doesn’t match the history passed down to us!”

”Don’t jump to conclusions,” someone interjected. ”This is even earlier—right after their birth.”

”Don’t forget—Kaguya’s third eye only appeared after she consumed the Chakra Fruit. Maybe the Sage of Six Paths’ Rinnegan, and later Indra’s Sharingan and Asura’s powerful life force… were later mutations or awakenings.”

”That makes sense! Something major must have happened afterward to cause the bloodline to diverge! Keep watching—the Heavenly Curtain will reveal it!”

Speculation, doubt, revelation, and deeper confusion spread across the shinobi world.

—

The scene shifted again.

Kaguya chose to reside in seclusion near the God Tree, attempting to avoid worldly disturbances and focus solely on raising Hagoromo and Hamura.

But beyond that sanctuary, chaos reigned.

With the disappearance of Daimyō Tenji of the Land of Ancestors, the region had fallen into total disorder and panic.

The Land of That blamed the Land of Ancestors and launched brutal retaliation.

War.

Massacre.

Displacement.

Human tragedy unfolded without end.

Occasionally, desperate refugees reached the outskirts of the God Tree’s territory, wailing for salvation from the ”Divine Maiden,” hoping the goddess of legend would save them.

Kaguya, however, sat beneath the God Tree in cold silence, ignoring the distant cries.

Only when fleeing soldiers or pursuers inadvertently crossed into the God Tree’s domain and disturbed her peace would she raise a hand, sending them flying with invisible force—life or death left to chance.

Yet the chaos outside only intensified.

The scent of war and slaughter began to encroach upon the very borders of the God Tree’s region.

Screams.

Clashing steel.

The crackling of burning structures.

All drifted faintly through the air, disrupting the quiet environment she sought for her children.

Holding the oblivious infants—who instinctively nestled against her—Kaguya lifted her gaze toward the distant smoke rising from battlefields.

Within her pale Byakugan and crimson Rinne Sharingan flickered impatience… and a faint trace of worry.

”Zetsu,” she called softly.

Black Zetsu, ever at her side, immediately responded.

”The noise outside never ceases. Is there a way to make them… completely quiet?”

Black Zetsu’s viscous body rippled. It had long grown tired of the conflicts of those ”lower life-forms.”

”Mother, we could issue a strict warning—anyone who approaches the God Tree or creates disturbance will be killed without exception. Eliminate a few, and the rest will fall in line.”

Kaguya shook her head.

”Fear only deters temporarily. The world outside is already in complete chaos. When death looms before them, they will ignore all warnings. They will rush blindly like headless insects—and eventually, they will still reach here.”

She saw clearly: harsh deterrence held limited power over those trapped in desperation.

Black Zetsu hesitated. ”Then… what do you propose, Mother?”

Kaguya’s gaze fell upon distant figures killing one another over scraps of food and shelter.

A thought emerged.

”Could they be… trained into soldiers?”

Black Zetsu paused—then quickly grasped her meaning.

”Mother, you wish to form an army? One that obeys you completely… one capable of maintaining order?”

Kaguya did not answer directly.

Instead, she lifted her eyes toward the sky again—toward the unseen depths from which her clan might descend at any moment.

”I do not know whether it will help,” she murmured, more to herself than to Black Zetsu. ”But even a small measure of controlled strength… even one additional barrier… is better than waiting passively, disturbed by meaningless turmoil.”

”And Hagoromo and Hamura require a peaceful environment to grow.”

”I understand!” Black Zetsu declared immediately, voice brimming with loyalty. ”Mother, I will assist you with everything. Whatever you wish.”

Having resolved herself, Kaguya hesitated no longer.

She entrusted the two infants temporarily to Black Zetsu and once again stepped beyond the God Tree’s protection—into the blood-soaked mortal world.

What followed unfolded like an epic in fast-forward.

With power utterly beyond mortal comprehension, Kaguya swiftly quelled the wars throughout the Land of Ancestors and neighboring regions.

Those who resisted were erased like dust.

Scattered armies were forcibly unified under her authority.

She did not claim the throne herself.

Instead, she installed a compliant proxy as the new daimyō—while true power and reverence rested entirely with her.

Under her inhuman might and cold gaze, none dared defy her.

They submitted.

But this was only the beginning.

Kaguya soon realized that local stability could not shield her domain from distant wars and waves of refugees spilling in from afar.

Her brows furrowed once more.
