Naruto: End of the Shinobi World

Under the gaze of countless eyes across the shinobi world—some expectant, some anxious, some merely curious—the long-silent Heavenly Curtain finally rippled once more. Light gathered, condensed, and stabilized.

”It’s starting! What’s it about this time?”

”Who’s the protagonist? I’m betting it’s someone from Konoha again!”

”Obviously. When has the Heavenly Curtain ever had nothing to do with Konoha? Even Karin is from the Uzumaki Clan—deeply tied to the village.”

”I just hope we get a better ’future’ this time… I still want to know if Naruto can actually be revived by Orochimaru.”

”I’m more curious about what exists beyond our world. Are there more beings like the Divine River Crab that enforce the rules?”

From streets and taverns to teahouses and rice fields, similar discussions echoed everywhere.

The Heavenly Curtain had become the single greatest variable shaping the shinobi world’s understanding—and its collective emotions.

The Pure Land

Even within the Pure Land, where the Sage of Six Paths had maintained a calm, observant—even scrutinizing—attitude, he now focused completely.

His Rinnegan locked onto the Heavenly Curtain.

Though he had always doubted its absolute authenticity, the appearance and demise of Ōtsutsuki Graywhite—and the overwhelming arrival of the Divine River Crab—had shaken him in ways he had not felt in a millennium.

Those beings seemed to exceed the bounds of his long-held understanding.

He urgently sought more information—especially about these ”outside” entities.

Even if that information demanded skepticism.

The light of the Heavenly Curtain stabilized.

The image slowly unfolded.

To everyone’s surprise, there was no familiar scene of Konohagakure, no battlefield, not even a recognizable horizon.

At the center of the screen stretched a vast, boundless starry sky.

Endless space, scattered with countless points of light.

Cold starlight and immeasurable darkness dominated the scene. A sense of desolation, insignificance, and crushing vastness washed over every viewer.

Most people in the shinobi world had never ”looked up” at the cosmos from such a perspective.

The overwhelming sense of smallness stole their breath.

Then—

A figure slowly materialized against the backdrop of the stars.

A woman.

She floated in the void, clad in an ancient, flowing white robe. The fabric stirred gently under some unseen force.

Her skin was pale. Her eyes were pure Byakugan.

Her beauty was ethereal—yet utterly devoid of warmth. Her long hair cascaded down her back, shimmering silver under the starlight.

She hovered there, as though she belonged to the cosmos itself—

Or ruled it.

The Pure Land

The Sage of Six Paths shot to his feet.

Even as a spiritual body, his immense chakra surged violently.

His Rinnegan widened with shock, disbelief—and something deeper, buried beneath centuries of composure.

”How… can it be you?!”

His voice trembled.

He knew that figure all too well.

She was the origin of his life.

The beginning of his suffering, his choices, and his eternal vigil.

Somewhere in the Shinobi World

In a forgotten, shadow-drenched corner of the world, Black Zetsu—who had long since taken to silent observation—suddenly shot up from the ground.

Its amorphous black form trembled violently, nearly unable to maintain cohesion.

”M-Mother?!”

Its shrill, hoarse voice echoed in the darkness, filled with disbelief and ecstatic hope.

”That’s Mother! Mother is on the Heavenly Curtain! Does that mean—does that mean there’s still hope?! No… is this… a recording of the past?!”

It stared at the figure on the screen, shaking so intensely it nearly lost form.

The image continued.

A vast, majestic voice resonated from the depths of the cosmos—like countless stars vibrating in unison.

It echoed across the Heavenly Curtain and into every corner of the shinobi world.

”Kaguya. We of the Ōtsutsuki Clan are divine beings who roam the stars, sow the God Tree, and govern life and death.”

”This time, you will travel to Primitive Life Planet C-1738 and carry out the ’God Tree Planting’ and ’Chakra Fruit Condensation’ mission.”

The voice paused, carrying a tone of detached expectation.

”Do not disappoint us.”

Ōtsutsuki.

Kaguya.

The two names struck like thunderbolts from the sky .

”Ōtsutsuki?! Like that Ōtsutsuki Graywhite from before?!”

”They call themselves gods who roam the stars? Sowing the God Tree?!”

”So it’s a clan! And it sounds like they’ve done this more than once!”

”Primitive life planet? God Tree planting? Chakra Fruit? Does that mean… our world’s chakra came from that fruit?!”

”Kaguya… is she the woman who altered our world?”

”We should’ve realized. Look at her Byakugan. Think about the Hyūga Clan—descended from the Sage of Six Paths’ younger brother.”

”Exactly. Do you think someone who bore the Sage and his brother was some ordinary native?”

”Hey! Who are you calling a native?!”

Hokage’s Office – Konohagakure

”Kaguya!” Jiraiya surged to his feet, face drained of color.

”Ōtsutsuki… Kaguya…” Tsunade and Hiruzen Sarutobi’s expressions changed drastically as well. They exchanged a look of shared horror.

The fragmented revelations once hinted at by the Great Toad Sage were now confirmed in the most direct—and terrifying—way.

The woman who descended from beyond the sky .

Who altered the world.

Who bore the Sage of Six Paths and his brother.

Who was ultimately sealed by her own sons.

She had come not as a wanderer—

But as an envoy.

An executor.

And ”chakra”… was likely the byproduct of the God Tree’s fruit.

This was far more blatant than the earlier hints of ”invasion.”

This was premeditated.

Interstellar agricultural colonization.

The entire shinobi world plunged into unprecedented shock and dread.

This time, the Heavenly Curtain did not reveal personal tragedy or battlefield spectacle.

It tore open a corner of the most fundamental, brutal truth—

The origin of their civilization.

The origin of their power.
