Primordial 'Dual Cultivator' Dragon With System

Long Hun nodded at her. ”In the past, we divided the power of the primordials into three levels, with me and Huang Lingzhu being the strongest among them. There were two primordials whose power was almost equal to ours back then, and they were the true possessors of the life and death elements.”

”Didn’t that mean they could control life and death?” Huang Hao asked in shock. Explore stories at freewebnovel

”Yeah.” Long Hun let out a heavy sigh. ”Sheng Huo and Si Wang’s abilities were indeed related to life and death, but they couldn’t control the life and death of the primordials. In fact, the two of them were the first to be affected by worldly emotions, and they were the cause of the destruction of this realm. Not long after they were affected by worldly emotions, the law of this universe immediately acted and got rid of them. Unfortunately, it was far too late, especially since the other primordials were already affected by them.”

Huang Hao frowned when she heard that. ”What do you mean by the laws of this universe?”

”Every realm has its own law, be it this realm, the empty realm, the supreme realm, or the three mortal realms.” Long Hun turned to Huang Hao. ”Since you were born and raised in the supreme realm, you have never been affected by the law in the three mortal realms. However, the mortals who were born in the three mortal realms will experience the effects, and you should already know what I mean, right?”

”Yes.” Huang Hao replied with a nod. ”Cultivators from the lower realms will be rejected and sent by the laws of their original realm to another realm in the middle realms after their cultivation breaks through the five divine realms. Once they reach the middle stage, they will ascend to the upper realms. However, such things do not apply to cultivators like Ling Yun, who received so much help from Huang Lingzhu, nor to those who were raised by other cultivators from other realms.”

Long Hun then continued. ”Those laws are several parts of the law of this universe, and they form a barrier that separates all realms, like the one we passed before. All realms will perish without those laws, and all living beings will face extinction. In this universe, there are only three people who can pass that barrier: you, Ling Yun, and Huang Lingzhu.”

”How can Huang Lingzhu pass through the barrier without your chaos ability?”

”Huang Lingzhu was the first primordial being to be born in this universe, and her understanding of its law made it easy for her to pass through the barrier.” Long Hun’s answer caused Huang Hao to doubt her abilities, and she was no longer confident that she could kill the Time Lord. ”To understand the elemental laws, you must first understand the law of this universe. However, it is really not easy to understand it, and all the living beings that are alive today will never be able to understand it, especially since they lack the ability to communicate with it, including you and the other immortals.”

”So, the Chaos created the law of this universe, right? Were all primordial beings able to communicate with the law of this universe in the past?”

”The Chaos is the core of this universe, and it created everything in it.” Long Hun then looked at the surrounding area again. ”In the past, we were able to communicate with the laws of this universe, and it even took the form of a living being to communicate with us, which made it easier for us to understand it. Unfortunately, the situation changed after the destruction of the primordial era, and it never appeared before us again. However, it still exists today to watch over all living beings, but it has begun to weaken, which is caused by the living beings themselves and the anger of the Chaos. Once the darkness of the Chaos swallows this universe, the law of the universe will disappear, and this universe will disintegrate to nothingness.”

Huang Hao could only sigh in her heart listening to Long Hun. Although she was immortal and inherited a bit of his chaos ability, she still could not do anything to fight the Chaos and save the universe from destruction.

Huang Hao’s expression suddenly turned serious. ”Why didn’t you and Huang Lingzhu stop them? You guys should be able to stop them, right?”

”You’re right, we could have stopped them back then, but we chose not to stop them.” Huang Hao immediately looked up and glared fiercely at Huang Lingzhu, who had just arrived. However, the Time Lord paid her no attention, and her gaze was solely focused on Long Hun.

Long Hun was not surprised by Huang Lingzhu’s arrival, and he had actually expected that she would come, especially since she could feel the changes taking place in the realm. He smiled bitterly before greeting her. ”Long time no see, Time.”

”Why did you do that to me? Why did you force me to kill you?” Although Huang Lingzhu’s voice sounded soft and calm, Long Hun and Huang Hao could feel the frustration in her tone.

Huang Hao wanted to say something to Huang Lingzhu, but Long Hun immediately stopped her. The matter between them was his responsibility, and he did not want others to interfere in their affairs, including her. ”Time, the two of us have been together since we were born in this universe, and no one else can understand you except me. Even if I didn’t force you to kill me, you would still do all that, right? You did get a lot of information from Tang Xiao, especially about Ling Yun and his nine elements. However, you knew from the beginning that your plans would never succeed because our enemy was my father, and no other power could stop him.”

”Why didn’t you discuss the matter with me first? Why did you deliberately play with me by planning your death at my hands?” Huang Lingzhu’s voice was filled with anger, leaving Huang Hao dumbfounded.

”Even if I discussed this matter with you back then, you still couldn’t do anything to stop my father, and the only one who could stop him was me.” Huang Lingzhu’s expression started to fill with anger after Long Hun said that. ”I already knew the situation in this universe long before you, and I tried to stop my father too many times because I was also attached to it, just like you. Unfortunately, all my efforts ended in vain, and he even beat me up many times. Back then, he told me that I was not worthy, and I didn’t know what he meant at first. However, I realized what he meant after you told me about your conversation with Tang Xiao, so I immediately drew up some plans, and the results were in line with my expectations.”

”What do you mean by that?”

Long Hun released a heavy sigh before answering Huang Lingzhu. ”I am the true primordial chaos dragon, and I am the son of Chaos, but my father deliberately created me imperfect. There are no twin suns, and the same goes for all powers. If I were born perfect, I would be no different from him, and he didn’t want that to happen, so he created me imperfect.”

Huang Lingzhu looked shocked by that. ”Why won’t you believe me? Don’t you believe that I can help you fight and stop your father?”

”Why do you insist on thinking foolishly?” Long Hun responded with a shake of his head. ”Your abilities are quite omnipotent, but they are not enough to fight me, let alone fight my father. The only way to fight him is to give birth to a perfect primordial chaos dragon, but it will never happen as long as I am alive. When you told me about Ling Yun and Tang Xiao’s prophecy about the man with the nine elements, I immediately made plans for my death. Unfortunately, no other living being can kill a primordial being like me, and you are the only primordial being left besides me. If I told you the truth, you would not be able to kill me because you love me too much, so I was forced to use underhanded methods to force you to kill me.”

For the first time in her life, Huang Lingzhu felt completely devastated. She was used to controlling and manipulating many things, but she never realized that Long Hun had manipulated her to kill him. If she had never listened to the conversations of the descendants of his followers, she would never have realized it.

With a trembling body, Huang Lingzhu landed in front of Long Hun. Her mouth opened repeatedly, but not a single word could come out of it. She stood still and stared at him with various feelings: anger, hatred, longing, and love.

Huang Lingzhu’s expression caused Huang Hao, who had hated her for so long, to feel a little sympathy for her. ’Despite her manipulative and hateful character, it cannot be denied that she wholeheartedly loves my master.’

”Time.”

”Bastard!” Huang Lingzhu, who had always been cold and apathetic, finally showed her true feelings. Tears flowed freely from her eyes for the first time in her life, and her body trembled violently. ”You bastard! You know I’ve always loved you, but you forced me to kill you! Do you know how I felt after I killed you that day? Do you know how lonely I’ve been for billions of years?”
