Primordial 'Dual Cultivator' Dragon With System

*Bam… Bam…*

While they were resting, they heard repeated heavy stomping sounds accompanied by strong tremors coming towards their location, and Zi Diao used her invisibility to check outside. They immediately got up on alert, especially Du Yanyao and Tao Ruirui, but they suddenly heard a call that baffled them.

“Jiang Chen! Come out now!”

“Eh? Why did that person call my name?” Jiang Chen questioned the others, gesturing with his index finger at his own face. ”

Yi Shi shook his head. “Perhaps there is someone in this realm who has the same name as you, and he is furious with that person.”

However, when they heard the name Jiang Chen again, along with two other names, they became even more perplexed.

“Jiang Chen! Zhang Bing! Yi Shi! Come out now!”

“This is weird, really! How did that person know our names?” Zhang Bing asked with a frown.

Zi Diao swiftly returned and informed them of the situation. “The person who called you three is not a human, but a giant ape beast, whose cultivation is at the peak stage venerate realm.”

“Peak stage venerate realm, huh?” Du Yanyao and Tao Rurui exchanged a nod of understanding and immediately rushed to meet the giant ape, who was none other than Sha Mo.

“Hmm?” Sha Mo raised his eyebrows as the two women appeared in front of him. “Are you their wives? Why didn’t they come out to meet me?”

Instead, Tao Ruirui released her aura and killing intent before directing it towards Sha Mo, and Du Yanyao did the same. “Who are you? Why are you looking for them?”

“Hahaha!” Sha Mo laughed when he sensed their killing intent. “Hey, you two are indeed strong in cultivation, but your killing intentions are too light compared to that little bastard, so you don’t need to try to pressure me with such meager killing intent.”

“Are you looking down on us?” Du Yanyao inquired as she pulled out her whip.

“It’s up to you, and I’m just spitting the facts.” Sha Mo then glanced at the cave entrance behind them. “Hey! I know that you guys are hiding in there, so come out now, especially you, Jiang Chen.”

Sha Mo’s attitude perplexed Du Yanyao and Tao Ruirui, especially since he looked so nonchalant, and they also didn’t sense ill intentions from him.

“Why are you looking for me?” Jiang Chen inquired as he walked out of the cave entrance, and the other two men followed him.

“Tch!” Sha Mo, sensing their cultivations, gritted his teeth and spoke in a disdainful tone. “I don’t understand why that little bastard would want to befriend weak people like you guys, especially since he is so tough and powerful. Yet he asked me to come to this realm to look for you guys, which pisses me off. If I were in his position, I would leave you guys behind because you are too weak, and you all would just be a burden.”

“Hey! Monkey! You don’t even know us, yet you keep insulting us.” Zhang Bing shouted angrily at Sha Mo.

Despite being annoyed by Sha Mo’s insults, Yi Shi calmly questioned him. “Who exactly is that little bastard you’re referring to?”

“Ling Yun.”

“Eh?” They were surprised after hearing the name come out of Sha Mo’s mouth. “Was Brother Yun really the one who sent you to this realm?”

“Here.” Jiang Chen immediately grabbed the bottle of pills that Ling Yun had given Sha Mo back then. “You can find the answer if you channel your qi into the seal, especially since he already put a message for you in it.”

When Jiang Chen heard that, he injected his qi into the seal that Ling Yun had used to seal the bottle. Immediately, a light entered his forehead, filling him with joy as he read the message. “Hahahaha! Brother Yun is really kind; he even sent you here to make a contract with me.”

“Did Brother Yun really send him to be your contract beast?” Yi Shi and Zhang Bing simultaneously posed the question.

“Yes.” Jiang Chen nodded with a joyful smile. “His name is Sha Mo, and Brother Yun met him in the Burial Realm. Since he liked him and he also has similar abilities to me, he sent him here to form a contract with me.”

Sha Mo’s face darkened at Jiang Chen’s words. “Tch! You shouldn’t be proud of that! Do you think I would be willing to form a contract with a weak human like you if it weren’t for the three pills in the bottle?”

“You’re right, I am indeed weak.” Jiang Chen replied to Sha Mo as he nodded. “However, I am just a human, and I don’t have many advantages like Brother Yun, but I am not jealous of him. Instead, he is the reason I came to this realm to train, especially since he was the first person to acknowledge me as his brother, and he has also helped me a lot.”

“Hmm?” Sha Mo raised his eyebrows at his answer.

Jiang Chen shook his head at Sha Mo’s reaction, and he then continued. “Since you were born in the upper realms, you won’t be able to understand the feelings of cultivators who were born and raised in the lower realms with extremely thin qi, like us. In fact, we arrived in the upper realms after Brother Yun brought us here a few months ago. So, how does our cultivation compare to yours? Although we are still weak now, we will never stop practicing, and we will continue to strive hard to become strong, so we can repay him by helping him face the enemies who threaten him.”

Sha Mo could also see the same determination in Zhang Bing and Yi Shi’s eyes, which made him more or less understand Ling Yun’s reason for sending him to Jiang Chen, but he chose not to comment on it. “Come here; we will make a contract now, and I will help you realize your wish.”

Hearing that, Jiang Chen immediately floated in front of Sha Mo’s face, and their foreheads pressed directly against each other. However, Ling Yun’s seal suddenly emitted a black light that entered the giant ape’s forehead, forming a contract between them moments later.

Jiang Chen then spoke to Sha Mo. “Brother, I hope for your help in training me to become stronger.”

“Sure.” Sha Mo then turned to Yi Shi and Zhang Bing with a slight smirk, making both of them shudder at the thought of his plan for them. “I’ll also train them very hard, or you guys will never be able to catch up to that little bastard, especially since he’s already several steps ahead of you. Anyway, give me the three pills inside that bottle, so I can become stronger too.”

Jiang Chen immediately broke the seal according to Ling Yun’s instructions, and he then gave the three pills to Sha Mo, who immediately swallowed them before sitting down cross-

legged. “I will absorb them first, and I will start training the three of you after that.”

Jian Cheng then landed beside Zhang Bing and Yi Shi. “Sha Mo is no ordinary beast, and he seems to have high talent, especially since Brother Yun praised him highly.”

“What did he say to you?”

Jiang Chen then told them about Ling Yun’s fight with Sha Mo in the Burial Realm, which made the two men look at the giant ape in amazement, especially since they knew quite a bit about their brother’s strength.

Even though they fought without cultivation, Ling Yun could have killed Sha Mo very easily, but he sent him to Jiang Chen instead.

“You are lucky to have a brother like him.” Du Yanyao commented as she walked beside Jiang Chen. “In these upper realms, not many people think about the people around them, even if they are their own family, let alone that you two are friends who meet in a match.”

Jiang Chen nodded in agreement with Du Yanyao. “Before I met Brother Yun, I had always lived with my mother, so I never had any friends, and I cultivated only to prove to them that I was the best in my generation. However, my defeat by him opened my mind, and I realized that I was too arrogant with my strength. Since then, I have decided to train with him, believing that I could become stronger if I stayed by his side. He became my goal to become stronger, but he was always a few steps ahead of me. That’s why I need to put in more effort than before, or else I will become a burden to him, as Sha Mo once stated. So if he practices ten times, then I have to practice a hundred times. If he practices a hundred times, then I have to practice a thousand times.”

“Honestly, your mindset is superb, especially since you are never willing to stop pursuing Ling Yun, even though he has so many advantages compared to you.” After that, Tao Ruirui turned to Zhang Bing. “Unlike you, he still has a lot to improve his mindset, but I can’t blame him either because he is still a rookie cultivator.”

Sha Mo suddenly opened his eyes before laughing loudly. “Hahahaha! That little bastard didn’t trick me! This way, I will be able to break through to the five god realm soon!”
