Fully Leveled Bigshot Becomes A Farmgirl

Chapter 1202: Chapter 1202: Staff Fang Cong

These things really haven’t been seen outside, and to the guests attending the banquet, they are indeed rare and unusual.

So ever since Ding Yuehua’s moving banquet ended and Lu’s Carpentry Shop reopened, orders have been pouring in.

The workers who originally followed Lu Erbai to renovate the Lu family’s home thought they would disperse after the renovation and have to find odd jobs in the streets and alleys again.

Little did they know, they couldn’t stop, work kept coming one after another.

In just a few months, the people from Shangshi Village alone have earned quite a bit in wages, equivalent to forming a construction team.

Seeing her father’s business booming, Shu Yu was naturally pleased.

After confirming the address, she lifted her foot and walked in.

In the shop, a slender figure was facing away from her, diligently polishing a brand-new dressing table.

Upon hearing footsteps, the person turned around, hurriedly placed the cloth to the side, and greeted her, “Please come in, Miss. Are you looking to buy some furniture?”

Shu Yu looked at the boy in front of her who seemed to be around fifteen or sixteen years old, he must be the new staff member hired by the shop.

The boy obviously didn’t recognize her, “Miss? Is there any furniture you fancy? Or you can have something custom-made, our shop’s craftsmen have top-notch skills, whatever you want, if we can make it, I’ll note it down for you.”

“I’m not here to buy furniture, I want to build a workshop.”

The boy was taken aback for a moment, then a bit embarrassed, “Building a workshop, huh, there’s no problem, but Miss, you’d have to wait for a while. Our shop is fully booked recently, we’d have to wait until next year at least.”

“Next year?” Shu Yu was surprised, her father’s business is doing so well? That’s troublesome, she can wait, but the sunflowers can’t.

Shu Yu originally planned to talk to Lu Erbai about building the workshop after her family’s moving banquet was over.

At that time, there was still time; she still needed to find a location for the workshop, and Lu Erbai also had to renovate houses for Third Uncle and Third Young Master Fan, there would be plenty of time to start after that.

She didn’t expect that she would be preparing to leave for the capital the day after the moving banquet, and with the rush of leaving, she wasn’t able to address the workshop matter.

The most unexpected part was that she didn’t anticipate her father’s business flourishing so well!

If Lu Erbai is too busy, she would have to look for someone else, it wouldn’t do to have him break contracts and cancel upcoming orders, or else the shop might as well close down.

“Miss, I’m truly sorry, our shop is short-staffed. Building a workshop is a big project, and we really can’t squeeze it in on short notice.”

The staff member had an apologetic look on his face.

Right after he finished speaking, a voice came from the shop’s backyard, “What do you mean we can’t squeeze it in?”

Shu Yu looked up to see her father lifting the curtain and walking out.

Seeing Shu Yu, Lu Erbai was also quite pleased, “Yu, what brings you here?”

“Dad, I came to see your new shop.”

Dad??

The staff was completely puzzled, looking at Shu Yu in shock.

Moments later, he suddenly realized, “You, you are the Second Young Lady?”

Lu Erbai laughed heartily, walked over and said, “Yes, this is my daughter, Yu.”

He pointed to the staff member, “This is Fang Cong, a worker Dad hired not long ago, he’s a year older than you, very diligent and quick-witted.”

Fang Cong hastily clasped his hands together, “I didn’t recognize the Second Young Lady, I deserve a beating.”

Lu Erbai gestured to him, “Alright, stop clowning around. What were you two talking about just now?”
