Chapter 1147: Chapter 1147 Sending Yao An Siblings Away

Yao Tianqin gave Madam Yao a look, and the latter followed him.

In the end, it’s necessary to take care of things, we can’t let someone die on our watch.

Only then did Yao Tianqin walk up to Shu Yu and said to her, “After Yao An’s injuries are treated, I will have someone take him outside the city to recover, and send him back to Huajiang Prefecture once he’s healed.”

Yao Tianqin indeed considered just sending Yao An directly to the authorities, but then thought it better to handle it with family law.

It’s not because Yao An is part of the Yao Family that he wants to show leniency.

Although Yao An is of his nephews’ generation, it’s their first time meeting after all these years, and there’s no affection between them, not to mention he holds some grudges against Yao An’s father.

If you really count it, Shu Yu feels more like his junior, towards whom he is a bit more partial.

But if Yao An is sent to the authorities, Shu Yu’s reputation would also be damaged. If she were someone with an insignificant name, it wouldn’t matter, but her presentation of the Heating Pack caused quite a stir, and the buzz hasn’t died down. Everyone has heard her name, so even if Yao An didn’t succeed, rumors, after spreading around, would become distorted.

After all, Yao An is his nephew; outsiders would only think a matter grave enough to drive him to send his nephew to the authorities must have reached an unmanageable extent, otherwise, why make such a fuss?

Shu Yu has just reached Coming-of-age, and she cannot afford such a reputation.

Yao Tianqin, in the end older, and familiar with the capital’s circumstances, inevitably considered more.

He also consulted Shu Yu, who agreed.

After all, Yao An barely attempted, and sending him to the authorities would most likely end up in a beating, much like family law.

She came to the capital to keep a low profile, and involving the authorities might even disclose her association with Meng Yunzheng.

This family law punishment from Yao Tianqin is enough to give Yao An a tough time.

Shu Yu quite agrees with Yao Tianqin’s approach, anyway it’s best to send these three from the Yao Family away as they’re not fit to stay in the family anymore.

The one handling the wound was Zhao Xi. Yao Hong was initially uneasy, but Zhao Xi assured her confidently, “I am a doctor, upholding the basic ethics to save the sick and heal the injured. There are patients and the wounded before me, and I cannot stand idly by. Does Miss plan to go outside seeking another doctor and let others know what good deeds your brother has done?”

Yao Hong lacked decisiveness, with Yao An unconscious from injury, and Wang Jiayi dared not speak a word, while the Yao Family deeply resented them.

Thus, with Zhao Xi’s words, Yao Hong was misled, remained silent, and quietly watched Zhao Xi treat the wound.

She couldn’t figure out what medicines Zhao Xi was using, just seeing him sprinkle layer upon layer on the wound, and then bandage it up.

Once bandaged, Yao An frowned in discomfort, his limbs twitching slightly, seemingly very ill at ease.

Zhao Xi explained, “It’s normal; the medication needs to stimulate the wound to heal quickly, rest assured.”

Yao An’s wound was treated, but he had yet to regain consciousness.

Yao Tianqin had no desire to keep them in the house any longer; despite Yao Hong’s crying, begging, and cursing, he promptly had the butler arrange for them to be sent out of the residence.

The butler rented a house outside the city and let them all stay there.

Throughout, Yao Tianqin never laid a finger on Wang Jiayi, though this person had attempted to drug his son.

He didn’t need to do anything.

Whether it was Yao An or Yao Hong, they’d shift all the blame onto her.

As seen now, Yao Hong didn’t cast a good look at her, her expression even showing aversion.
