I Ended the God at Level 1

15: Ghostly Step, Skyflame Master lv2”Sure, you go first.”

Li Si agreed without a second thought.

In his eyes, the two items were of comparable value: a skill comprehension book he could use himself, and a job change book that could sell for more money.

It just depended on his choice.

He was having trouble deciding himself, so letting Heavenly Sword Technique choose was just going with the flow.

”I choose the job change book!”

Heavenly Sword Technique said without hesitation.

”OK, it’s yours. Let’s go.”

Li Si traded the job change book to Heavenly Sword Technique, then exited the team and the Bloody Secret Realm. He had other things to do and no time to chat with Heavenly Sword Technique.

[skill comprehension book] (Purple): Randomly comprehend a skill, up to purple quality, related to comprehension and luck.

”It’s the same as the Golden Comprehension Book.”

Li Si closed the attribute panel and quickly chanted a string of incantations he himself couldn’t repeat. 4 points of luck, 15 points of comprehension, give me purple!!

[Beep!]

[Congratulations! You have comprehended -- Ghostly Swift Steps (Purple).]

[Comprehension burst, flash of inspiration, first time learning -- Ghostly Swift Steps, it has risen to Lv5.]

”WC... starting at Level 5!”

Li Si quickly opened the attribute description for Ghostly Swift Steps.

[Ghostly Swift Steps Lv5]

Quality: Purple

Active: Command a ghost to possess you, increasing movement speed by 20% for 10 seconds.

Conditions: 100 Mana consumed, 20 second cooldown.

Upgrade Requirement ①: 500,000 experience points.

Upgrade Requirement ②: 5 Skill Upgrade Stones (Purple).

The attribute bonus was average. Li Si had looked into the data for movement speed skills. A purple active skill at max level was about 30%, and a blue active skill at max level was about 20%. As for green and white quality movement speed skills, they had no percentage bonus.

The experience requirement was decent. Compared to golden skills, the experience needed for upgrading was ten times lower. 500,000 experience to upgrade to Lv6, at least there was some hope for that in the near future.

Level 1 Phantom Sword Dance needed 1,000,000 experience to upgrade to Level 2.

Level 3 Mana Conversion needed 3,000,000 experience to upgrade to Level 4.

Li Si couldn’t even imagine such exaggerated upgrade experience before leaving Novice Village.

”Didn’t they say All Heavens Game has a bonus for killing monsters above your level? Why isn’t there any?”

Li Si was extremely confused about this; neither the Level 5 enhanced monster Blood Scarerow nor the Level 10 wild wolves gave any extra experience.

”Is being 9 levels higher not enough?”

Does he need to be even higher level?

Li Si decided to try after he finished what he was doing.

But there was no rush; as long as All Heavens Game had rewards for killing monsters above your level, he, being permanently Level 1, would eventually encounter them. It was only a matter of time.

”Ghostly Swift Steps.”

”Ghostly Swift Steps!”

”Ghostly Swift Steps.”

He used Ghostly Swift Steps as soon as the cooldown was ready, heading back to Novice Village. This saved time and also triggered the Limiter, increasing his Mana cap.

[Beep!]

[Casting a hundred times forges a stronger body, Heaven Rewards Diligence, Mana proliferates.]

[Mana permanently +20.]

[Mana recovery +1/s.]

[Mana permanently +25.]

......

”Master, I’m back.”

Li Si strode into the blacksmith shop.

Under Wang Shidao’s kind gaze, Li Si began his busy forging.

Only this time, the part he chose to forge was a weapon.

Of course, the design blueprint was still Wang Shidao’s. And this time, Wang Shidao also made a demand: all the equipment forged would belong to him.

Li Si could only take one piece.

When under someone’s roof, one must bow their head, so Li Si could only agree.

[Beep!]

[This forging was successful.]

[This forging failed.]

[This forging failed.]

[This forging failed.]

Time flowed, the moon was bright and sparse, the morning sun rose, and the scorching sun hung high in the sky.

When Li Si put down the forging hammer, it was already more than ten hours later. After an all-nighter and a morning, he felt light-headed and groggy.

”After upgrading Blazing Sky Craftsman, I must go offline and sleep.”

Li Si felt that if he didn’t go offline soon, he might die suddenly. Fortunately, his Blazing Sky Craftsman proficiency was almost full.

[Beep!]

[This forging was successful.]

[Proficiency achieved.]

[Congratulations! Your auxiliary profession -- Blazing Sky Craftsman has risen to Lv2.]

”Finally.”

Li Si’s taut nerves finally relaxed. He raised his hand and opened his attribute interface to check the changes after Blazing Sky Craftsman leveled up.

[Blazing Sky Craftsman Lv2]

Quality: Mythical

Description: A high-level auxiliary profession skilled in communicating with the flames of the sky to forge equipment. Continuously forging equipment can increase profession proficiency, upgrade skills, and unlock more attributes.

Base success rate 33%.

Can smelt up to Golden materials.

Additionally, a new skill appeared, waiting to be unlocked.

”Not bad.”

Li Si was very satisfied. The forging success rate was very important; continuing to increase the level would continue to increase the success rate. In the later stages of the game, he could earn a fortune just by forging.

At this moment, the system prompt continued to pop up....

[Beep!]

[Heaven Rewards Diligence, your tireless dedication to refining your craft has resulted in attribute promotion.]

[Luck permanently +1.]

[Comprehension permanently +1.]

[Charm permanently +1.]

”...Nice!”

Three hidden attributes were gained, a perfect end to 11 hours of hard forging. In fact, the Limiter had been unlocking throughout the forging process, adding many attributes to Li Si.

[Windy Sword] (Blue)

Level: 1

Attack +10-13

Attack Speed +5%

Among hundreds of Windy Swords, Li Si chose the one with the highest attack power. Both were Level 1 equipment, but its attack was 5 points higher than Excellent Sword, and it also added 5% attack speed.

This was a difference in quality.

”Finally, I can go offline.”

Before going offline, Li Si specifically opened his attribute interface to check his panel.

”...Freakish!”

Li Si was overjoyed. He didn’t know what level this attribute corresponded to for a regular player, but it was definitely not lower than Level 10, and it was a fully geared Level 10 player.

Could this panel enter Seven Stars Mausoleum?

It remained unknown.

Excellent Sword was eliminated, but for other players, it was still top-tier equipment.

Li Si put Excellent Sword up for auction. The top-tier green weapon was immediately snatched up, and its price quickly soared.

[Beep!]

[Excellent Sword auction completed. After deducting 5% handling fee, the remaining 28,500 RMB has been transferred to the character account. Current balance: 105,300 RMB.]

”...Comfortable.”

He had already withdrawn 100,000 in total, making the cumulative amount 205,300 RMB. Earning 200,000 a day, is this what All Heavens Game is like?

Then a white light flashed, and Li Si’s figure vanished from the spot.

His consciousness returned to reality. He was too lazy to even open his eyes, just lying on the bed, falling asleep in a few seconds. In his dream, he effortlessly slew dragons, flew through the sky and burrowed through the earth, aiming to be the number one in All Heavens.

......

Dusk was falling.

The sun had already set.

Li Si felt refreshed and let out a wolf howl as he got out of bed.

”Grrr...”

Having not eaten for a day and a night, his stomach began to protest.

”I’m eating well today.”

Li Si quickly put on his clothes and then washed up.

As he was about to leave, he subconsciously thought of turning off the air conditioner, but then stopped himself. He felt a pang of discomfort thinking about how every time he returned to his rental apartment, he had to endure over ten minutes of high temperatures waiting for the air conditioner to cool down.

”Things are different now. I’ve made a fortune, why worry about a little electricity bill?” Creating a comfortable environment for himself was also a mandatory lesson for professional players.

Having thought everything through, Li Si strode away.

Soon, a restaurant came into view. The restaurant was old and the food was mediocre. But whenever Li Si wanted to improve his meals, he would come to this restaurant because the owner’s daughter was amazing.
