I Ended the God at Level 1

10: Supporting OccupationsDing!

Server Announcement: Detected half of players have reached Level 5. To enhance players’ gaming experience, Heavens has undergone an un-offline update. Details can be viewed in the message interface.

The server announcement echoed in the ears of all players.

All Novice Villages erupted.

”Finally, an update.”

”I just want to know if the drop rate increased?”

”Same here.”

”The drop rate is insane; I’ve never seen a drop.”

”It’s ridiculously bad.”

”.......”

At this moment, players worldwide were focused on the drop rate issue.

Li Si was no exception; he was also puzzled.

He had killed no less than a thousand monsters, and aside from a ring dropped by a Wild Dog Elite, no other monster dropped anything.

This shows how outrageous Heavens’ drop rate was.

”Let’s see what’s updated.”

Li Si opened the message interface and found the latest system prompt.

Game Update:

One: Drop Rate Increase. Based on widespread player feedback regarding excessively low monster drop rates, we have specifically increased the drop rate. However, as a trade-off, monster experience points have been reduced.

Two: Trading System. To facilitate better equipment trading among players, a trading house has been opened in each region. However, the trading house charges a 3% commission fee for each transaction.

Three: Class Advancement. Players who reach Level 10 can go to the Class Hall to advance their class, or they can complete hidden quests or use items to obtain a hidden class.

Four: Ten Great Treasures. Each Novice Village harbors 10 treasures. The acquisition conditions are unknown, the rewards are unknown, and if a player holding a treasure dies, the treasure will definitely drop.

A total of four aspects were updated.

Each point made players exclaim in surprise.

”Haha.... Trading house, I can finally use my money power.”

”Hidden class.... NB, I really want it.”

”Ten Great Treasures, they sound awesome.”

”Anyone selling treasures? I’m willing to pay 100,000 RMB.”

”Holy crap, 100,000 RMB, that’s more than my annual salary.”

”Damn it!”

”Wicked rich people.”

Throughout Mingyue Village, players were discussing everywhere.

After browsing the update content, Li Si’s eyes lit up.

Completing hidden quests can grant hidden classes, doesn’t that mean... he has a chance to advance his class?

And there are also the Ten Great Treasures, which are clearly extraordinary items.

This made Li Si very tempted.

However, Li Si also understood that the difficulty of acquiring the Ten Great Treasures was very high, because with too many players, the intensity of competition could be imagined; it would definitely be a bloodbath.

”Trading house.”

Li Si murmured to himself.

He opened Mingyue Village’s trading house.

The trading house interface was very simple, divided into two main sections: buy and sell. Both sections had search boxes.

Li Si typed ”skill book” into the search box.

The interface immediately refreshed.

”There really are skill books.”

Li Si quickly clicked to view the skill book’s description. Damn, he knew there would be class requirements.

What a rip-off.

Immediately, he continued to type ”class advancement book” into the search box.

The interface did not change.

Clearly, this meant that there were currently no players selling class advancement books in the trading house.

”Alright.”

Li Si wasn’t disappointed; he was just trying his luck. It would be best if there were class advancement books, but it didn’t matter if there weren’t, it was all within his expectations.

Stepping into the Novice Village.

Li Si began searching for the Wandering Swordsman.

Searching and searching.

He met the Wandering Swordsman again under a willow tree.

However, by this time, the area around the willow tree was already surrounded by players.

”Senior, is there anything I can do for you?” a 36D female player stepped forward and asked.

”You cannot.” The Wandering Swordsman leaned against the willow tree, his eyes not even open, and waved his hand to signal the 36D player to leave.

”Senior, if only you’d open your eyes and look at me, I don’t believe you’d see nothing.” The 36D player cupped her chest, instantly revealing a magnificent sight, stirring up a turbulent wave.

The Wandering Swordsman opened his eyes and glanced at the 36D player for a moment, then said coldly: ”In three breaths, scram, or die.”

Then, a wisp of green sword energy bloomed, splitting the 36D player neatly into two halves.

”Holy crap, this NPC doesn’t play fair. Didn’t he say three breaths? Why did he just cut her down?” Players were terrified and retreated dozens of meters.

Too dangerous.

Cannot get close.

This thought arose in the minds of all players.

”......” Li Si was no exception.

The Wandering Swordsman’s wisp of sword energy shattered his thoughts.

”Let’s go.”

He didn’t want to court death and turned to walk towards the blacksmith shop. In novels, blacksmith shops usually have hidden quests.

Li Si felt he could give it a try.

”Uncle Blacksmith, is there anything I can do for you?”

”Of course, I have a piece of iron ore here. Help me forge it, and afterwards, I’ll give you a piece of equipment.” The blacksmith said, bare-chested.

”Brother, I advise you not to take this quest; it’s a huge trap.” A player happened to be passing by the entrance of the blacksmith shop.

”How so?”

”Forging iron ore is time-consuming and laborious. After completing the quest, you only get a white-grade equipment. It’s better to do other quests.” The player patiently advised.

”Brother, thank you for the reminder. I understand.” Li Si accepted the blacksmith’s quest, for no other reason than that forging might trigger the Limiter. After all, forging is very tiring, and the demand for stamina is no less than killing monsters.

”Alright, I won’t try to persuade you further. Just know it.” The player shook his head and quickly walked away.

Clang! Clang! Clang!

Li Si held the heavy forging hammer, striking and smashing the iron ore fiercely. Each swing was with all his might, without the slightest slack, as if he wasn’t doing a quest, but treating himself as a true craftsman.

Ding!

Heaven Rewards Diligence, forging is also a form of tempering, and a form of cultivation; strength increases.

Heaven Rewards Diligence, forging is also a form of tempering, and a form of cultivation; strength increases.

Attack permanently +1.

The Limiter refreshed from time to time.

Li Si’s mouth curved upwards, completely immersed in forging, ignoring everything outside, focusing only on the forging table.

Seeing this scene, the blacksmith’s eyes shone with divine light.

His favorability towards Li Si soared: This person is different; he truly loves forging. This kind of love for the task at hand and the object in his hands cannot be faked.

The blacksmith squinted, observing Li Si, liking him more and more.

However, what he didn’t know was: How could Li Si love forging? He only loved the Limiter triggered during forging.

Twenty minutes passed.

The iron ore glowed brightly in Li Si’s hands. All impurities had been forged away, and it had clearly become excellent forging material.

During the process, the Limiter was triggered more than ten times.

Health +142.

Attack +5.

”Adventurer, your devotion to forging moves me. Are you willing to accept my legacy?” The blacksmith said with anticipation.

Legacy?

Holy crap, why did the quest reward suddenly change?

Surprised, Li Si quickly replied: ”I am willing to accept your legacy.”

No matter what, claim the reward first.

”Good! From today onwards, you are the inheritor of our Divine Smith Valley. My name is Wang Shidao, and I am your master.” The blacksmith said.

Ding!

Congratulations on passing the NPC--Wang Shidao’s test, and obtaining the auxiliary class legacy--Blazing Sky Craftsman (Mythical).

Holy crap!!

A Mythical quality auxiliary class.

Li Si was ecstatic.

He only wanted to trigger the Limiter, but he didn’t expect such an unexpected gain, and a huge one at that, the biggest possible.

White, Green, Blue, Purple, Gold, Epic, Legendary, Mythical.

”Mythical quality!”

This was the highest quality given on the Heavens official website.

Boom!

Wang Shidao waved his single hand, and instantly divine light descended from the sky, enveloping Li Si’s body.

Ding!

”...... NB.”

Li Si was delighted.

He opened his attribute interface, and indeed, an auxiliary class had been added.

In addition, his luck value had increased to 3 points.
