Super Gene Hunting Ground

Yang Xiao briefly explained the matter of the Eldest Prince being assassinated by people dispatched by the Second Prince, and said:

”Do you think the Eldest Prince has a chance to turn things around and seize the imperial succession rights?”

Elder Ye opened his eyes, looking at Yang Xiao, with a strange gleam in his eyes that made Yang Xiao’s heart tremble.

”Do you want to help the Eldest Prince fight for the throne?”

Yang Xiao nodded.

”I think the Eldest Prince is kind and righteous, more suitable to serve as the imperial heir and bring prosperity to the world...”

Elder Ye waved his hand, interrupting Yang Xiao, and said:

”All of that is useless talk, if the Eldest Prince wants to seize the throne, under the current circumstances, there’s only one chance to turn the tide.”

”What?”

”That is if the Second Prince Wanyan Ying suddenly dies, and the Flying Leopard Emperor has no other suitable candidates, he can only choose the Eldest Prince Xiao He as the successor.”

Yang Xiao was shocked,

”Do you know Xiao He’s identity?”

”Haha, why shouldn’t I know? Do you know my full name?”

Yang Xiao was stunned; he usually called him Elder Ye without ever asking for his full name.

”Elder Ye, what is your full name?”

”Wanyan Ye.”

”Wanyan Ye?”

Yang Xiao was shocked, the Eldest Prince is Wanyan He, the Second Prince is Wanyan Ying, the Flying Leopard Emperor’s sister is called Wanyan Li, it seems the surname of the Flying Leopard Imperial Royal Family is Wanyan, could this Elder Ye also be part of the Imperial Royal Family?

”Elder Ye, are you also part of the Flying Leopard Imperial Royal Family?”

Elder Ye smiled mysteriously,

”Haha, what do you think?”

Yang Xiao suddenly felt tense, just now he said he wanted to help the Eldest Prince fight for the throne, but didn’t expect this super strong person in front of him to be part of the Flying Leopard Imperial Royal Family, wasn’t he interfering in royal family matters?

All Imperial Royal Family members dislike outsiders interfering in internal royal family affairs, Yang Xiao has committed a big taboo.

Yang Xiao looked at Elder Ye awkwardly,

”Elder Ye, I—”

”Haha, you don’t need to be nervous, I won’t blame you,

Although I am part of the Wanyan family, I don’t have the desire to participate in internal royal family affairs, and no one in the Flying Leopard Imperial Royal Family knows I am at the Flying Leopard Academy, even the current Flying Leopard Emperor doesn’t know my identity.”

Yang Xiao calmed down a bit, awkwardly laughed:

”Elder Ye, you truly are deeply hidden, so you are part of the Wanyan Royal Family, the things you said earlier about the Eldest Prince Xiao He turning the tide were just jokes, weren’t they?”

”Haha, you brat, no need to try to get words out of me. Although I am part of the Wanyan Royal Family, I don’t participate in royal family disputes. If you want to assist the Eldest Prince in fighting for the throne, I don’t oppose it, but I have a small request, listen carefully.”

”Elder Ye, please speak.”

”Regardless of whether the Eldest Prince or the Second Prince wins the succession rights, they are ultimately descendants of the Wanyan family,

do you understand my meaning?”

Yang Xiao was stunned and said:

”I understand, you mean the meat should stay in the pot, and fertile water shouldn’t flow to outsiders’ fields. As long as the Emperor position is inherited by someone from the Wanyan family, it doesn’t matter who it is, is that what you mean?”

Elder Ye laughed heartily and said:

”Smart!

Alas, I still cannot fully stay detached, forget that I am a member of the Wanyan family, pardon me.”

”That’s not the way to say it! Everyone has their position in society, everyone has their roots, their origin,

if a person forgets his roots, forgets his origin, he will lose himself.”

Yang Xiao was thinking about himself when he said this.

Yang Xiao has never forgotten the fact that he is from Earth, not even for a moment, he constantly remembers his responsibility and mission as an Earthling to defeat the Great Dragon Empire and liberate Earth from their control, this is his unshirkable duty.

This is similar to Elder Ye being a descendant of the Wanyan clan, even if he doesn’t hold any official position within the Flying Leopard Empire Dynasty, he is, after all, a descendant of the Wanyan clan and cannot stand by and watch outsiders destroy the Wanyan clan.

Elder Ye nodded, looking at Yang Xiao,

”I don’t care what your purpose is, if you are sincere in helping the Eldest Prince Xiao He fight for the throne, truly help him, no matter what methods you use, as long as they don’t harm the foundation of the Flying Leopard Empire, I won’t blame you,

if your actions harm the foundation of the Wanyan clan, threaten the survival of the Flying Leopard Empire, then don’t blame this old man for stepping in, I’m telling you upfront.”

”In other words, as long as I help the Eldest Prince seize the throne, even if I kill the Second Prince Wanyan Ying, you won’t mind?”

”Haha, killing the Second Prince Wanyan Ying, easier said than done, as the heir of the Emperor, during everyday outings he has at least eight Empire Level Advanced realm strong guards by his side,

with your current ability, even if you have a Two-star Divine Weapon, you can’t dream of breaking through the defense of these eight people.”

Yang Xiao was shocked, asked:

”Why don’t you mind if I kill the Second Prince Wanyan Ying?”

Elder Ye closed his eyes again and said faintly:

”Between the Eldest Prince Xiao He and Second Prince Wanyan Ying, I am not inclined towards either, I have already said, I don’t involve myself in Imperial Dynasty battles,

but I have a fundamental idea, that even internal successors need a competitive process, the capable rise, the weaker fall,

If the Second Prince Wanyan Ying cannot protect his own life, what qualifications does he have to lead the Flying Leopard Empire?

If the Eldest Prince Xiao He can, with your help, defeat Wanyan Ying, then it proves he has the ability to inherit the throne, why should I stop you?”

...

Inside the Dean’s office at Flying Leopard Academy,

Dean Xinghai, Vice Dean Deng Nan, and three senior leaders of the academy were sitting together, their faces solemn.

”From the scene investigation, the deaths of Fan Ni, Han Yang, and Guo Gang were not caused by demon beasts but were the result of an attack by their peers.”

”These three were top experts among those participating in the hunting activity, who has the ability to kill them?”

”This is indeed a very bizarre matter, it is also the most serious casualty during our Flying Leopard Academy’s hunting activities in recent decades.”

”We must attach great importance to this matter and find out the mastermind behind it.”

...

A staff member entered Xinghai’s office.

”Report to the Dean, after repeatedly reviewing the tracking signals from numerous Jade Tokens, we found a team whose route in the Flying Leopard Mountain Range closely matches the location where Fan Ni, Han Yang, and Guo Gang died.”

”Oh, is there such a thing? Who is it?”

”It’s Yang Xiao, Yang Xiao’s team’s exploration route overlapped precisely with these three’s death locations. Given the large number of demon beast brain crystal cores obtained by Yang Xiao, we have every reason to believe Yang Xiao’s team ruthlessly killed academy classmates to win first place.
