Chapter 1653 - 571: Pre-Battle Declaration (Part 2)

”...Even though we have managed to kill a rare epic Magma Giant, weʼre still far from summoning His Majesty Nael Breccan... At least two more are required to complete the summoning.”

Graham looked at the massive corpse of the Magma Giant at the center of the altar, his expression remained unenthusiastic.

”Damn it! If not for that Rein the last time, I would have already succeeded!”

”Now, where can we find epic-level sacrifices in this wretched place?”

”But if we slowly wait for the Spider Spirit to meet the requirements, that would take at least a few more years.”

...

Seeing this scene, Rein fell into contemplation.

Since the last battle with Nael Breccan, Rein had studied the relevant information.

ʼCompared to the ”Blood Sacrifice Summon,” the ”Spider Spirit Summon” has significantly fewer requirements, reducing the intelligence requirements of the sacrifice, and instead requiring a high-quality spider as a vessel.ʼ

This time, he came to complete the last step of his ascent by defeating the manifestation of Evil God Nael Breccan, not simply to kill Graham.

Because simply killing Graham held almost no meaning for Rein.

Whatʼs interesting now is that Graham was also endeavoring to do this—to summon the Evil God Nael Breccan!

This means, if he wants to complete his ascent quickly, it would be best to assist.

”This... Could it be, I have to help Graham complete the summoning?”

Reinʼs expression could not help but become peculiar.

Although he had heard the term ʼaiding the enemy,ʼ it seemed this was his first formal experience in doing so.

”To make the other party gladly accept a ʼpie falling from the skyʼ without much suspicion, the best way... is to make it look like a coincidence.”

”The surrounding area is all lava regions... perhaps, we can find two epic-level enemy magma creatures... and then...”

Reinʼs eyes lit up with a brilliant idea, and he immediately laughed.

”Itʼs not easy, but it has to be done!”

The next moment, Rein vanished from where he stood.

Even with the ability of subspace teleportation and power reaching the full moon peak, finding such two qualifying magma creatures was incredibly challenging for Rein.

Reinʼs figure flickered as he traveled through the dense underground lava dark rivers.

”Oh, thereʼs an epic Magma Hellhound sleeping here.”

Suddenly, Rein discovered a giant dark red beast with three fierce canine heads in an underground lava lake hundreds of kilometers away from the Molten Spider Altar.

It was a legendary Magma Hellhound with the mutated bloodline of the hellhound with three heads.

”But itʼs still not enough... we need one more enemy creature...”

Memorizing the location in delight, Rein continued to swiftly search along the underground lava dark rivers.

...

Half an hour later.

Rein finally found another epic creature.

”Hmm? Another epic Magma Hellhound?”

Rein was a bit speechless, hoping it would have been a Magma Giant or an Ancient Fire Demon, which would naturally be enemy creatures with the Magma Hellhound. After an epic battle, both epic beasts perished together, which would have been quite believable.

”This...”

The pair of Magma Hellhounds left Rein somewhat indecisive.

Suddenly, at this moment, the Communication Mark on Reinʼs chest began to flicker!

”Lord of the Steel Throne, thereʼs a disturbance from the Fiend Demon at the Cologne Cathedral as it spreads outward once more, seemingly preparing for further attacks,” came Olenaʼs anxious voice when Rein tapped the mark.

Hmm?

Rein squinted his eyes and immediately said, ”Okay, Iʼm coming back right away.”

After a moment of thought, Rein decided to just stick with the two Magma Hellhounds!

”After all, there is also infighting among canine species.”

Reinʼs figure flashed as he appeared above the Magma Lake, and a large dark silver metal hand formed out of thin air, reaching into the magma and grabbing the drowsy Magma Hellhound by the neck.

”Woo woo~”

Originally intending to roar, the Magma Hellhound shivered as soon as it sensed Reinʼs level of power.

At the full moon peak level, Rein was almost an unsurpassable existence in the perception of the Magma Hellhound.

After making two more adjustments, Rein took the two Magma Hellhounds and teleported back to the previous location, using the other dark silver metal hand to pull out the first Magma Hellhound.

Then, Rein observed the paw shapes and mouth shapes of the two Magma Hellhounds and swiftly killed them.

Subsequently, he rapidly transformed multiple pairs of metal claws, feigning injuries on the bodies of both Magma Hellhounds.

Having completed all this, Rein tossed the corpses of the Magma Hellhounds into a Magma Lake closest to the Molten Spider Nest and released a fire witchcraft spell to trigger energy fluctuations.

Seeing the wandering magma spiders coming over and discovering the bodies of the Magma Hellhounds, Rein nodded in satisfaction and left the Hammerfall Mountains, blinking his figure continuously.

...

Back in the sky above the Imperial City Tamriel, Rein found that above the Cologne Cathedral, a few hundred-meter-tall sinister Fiend Demon had appeared.

Around it, there were contaminated birds, Griffin Knights, and even seven or eight Giant Dragons swirling with evil qi, circling the Fiend Demon as if ready to attack at any moment.

On the other side of the sky, the joint forces of the Empire and the Federation were also on alert.

Led by Red Queen Menia, the Imperial Guardians, elite Flying Knights, and a large number of Griffin Knights, along with dozens of large Armed Airships from the Federation, were gathered in the sky, extending for tens of miles.
