Apocalypse: Goddess Catalog, Starting With Twin Sisters!

Chapter 53: Chapter 53: Discovering the Goddess: Shiina Minami

[Seed of Consciousness: Also known as Seed of Telekinesis, one of the Sub-Superpowers belonging to SSS-Level Telekinesis!]

[The Host can plant a ”Seed of Consciousness” in subordinates whose Superpower Level is no higher than the Host’s and who are willing to follow the Host.]

[Once planted, they will become completely loyal to the Host and will never betray them!]

Mengde gave a slight smile after reading the system’s introduction.

’This Seed of Consciousness came at just the right time!’

Although he had taken on Leng Feng and his men last night, and he was sure his methods yesterday were enough to intimidate them, you can never truly know a person’s heart. Self-interest can sway anyone.

’It might be fine in the short term, but there are no guarantees in the long run!’

’To be on the safe side, it’s best to go ahead and use it on Leng Feng and his men.’

Besides the Seed of Consciousness, his hard work all night long had also allowed him to awaken an SSS-Level Thunder Superpower: Thunder God!

The accompanying Thunder Sub-Superpower gift package—Mjolnir, Hand of the Thunder God, and Sea of Thunder—had long since been delivered to his system space.

He was already itching to test out the power of these new Superpowers.

He was in a great mood after such a fruitful night.

His good mood even caused his roaming hand to quicken its pace.

In no time, the young woman beside him was blushing furiously.

She even let out soft little gasps.

”Brother-in-law, don’t...”

If not for Xiaoyao stopping him, Mengde’s next move would have been to lay siege.

He snuck a glance at Jiayi and saw no change in her expression.

Mengde breathed a sigh of relief.

’Secretly playing games with my sister-in-law under the table is a pretty great feeling.’

After breakfast, the women went to clear the dishes.

Jiayi, however, pulled him into the living room.

A girl was currently kneeling formally in the living room.

The girl had short hair, and just the sight of her back gave off the impression of a pure, innocent young lady!

[DING! A top-tier Goddess from Japan who meets the system’s criteria has been scanned!]

[Goddess: Shiina Minami]

[Overall Score: 98]

[Affinity: 40 (Friendly. Can be added to the Goddess Catalogue at 60.)]

[Charge Count: 0] (A virgin)

[System Introduction: An 18-year-old beauty, the very embodiment of short-haired innocence! Japan’s most popular actress, known as the girl Japanese men most want to date. The girlfriend Principal Wang spent tens of millions to pursue. She is pure and flawless, captivatingly beautiful, and inspires a desire to protect her!]

[Meets system requirements. Host, please add her to the Goddess Catalogue as soon as possible!]

Seeing the system’s notification, it immediately clicked for Mengde!

”Shiina Minami!”

Mengde looked at Jiayi with a look of utter astonishment.

He suddenly remembered that he hadn’t seen her among that pile of influencer girlfriends yesterday.

”Where did you guys find her?”

He had been busy last night exploring the mysteries of the widow, Cheng Ying.

So busy that he had completely forgotten about Principal Wang’s Japanese girlfriend.

”In one of the bedrooms on the third floor!”

”We saw her this morning while we were cleaning,” Jiayi said.

”And she’s been sitting here waiting for you since early this morning.”

”Waiting for me?”

Mengde walked up to Minami, feeling a bit puzzled.

Observing her from this close, he could better appreciate the sheer caliber of this Japanese stunner!

However, what Mengde hadn’t expected was that before he could even say a word, the beautiful Japanese girl merely glanced at him before throwing herself into his arms the very next second.

”Onii-chan!”

???

Mengde was completely floored!

’Wait, what?’

’Since when was I this charming?’

’Charming enough for a girl to just throw herself at me?!’

’And this isn’t just any girl, either.’

’This is Shiina Minami, the girl countless young men are crazy about!!!’

Behind them, Jiayi was also baffled.

Even someone like her, Chen Jiayi, who didn’t follow celebrities, had heard Shiina Minami’s name plenty of times!

’When did this man of mine manage to hook up with her, too?’

Mengde saw the strange look in Jiayi’s eyes and knew she had gotten the wrong idea.

”No... Jiayi, let me explain... I...”

But he couldn’t even move!

Minami’s figure might have been petite, but she was surprisingly well-endowed!

Her small hands were clinging tightly to his waist.

’This girl is surprisingly strong!’

Even through several layers of clothing, Mengde could feel her overflowing passion and excitement!

’Tongzi, what the hell is going on?’

’I’m confident, but not *that* confident.’

’I’m just a tiny bit more handsome than average...’

’My body is just a tiny bit better...’

’I only have a tiny few more Superpowers...’

’My personal charm is just a tiny bit stronger...’

...........

’Yeah... other than that, I’m pretty ordinary!’

’Of course, I can’t even begin to compare to the handsome devils reading this right now.’

’For a ”plain and unremarkable” guy like me to have a famous Japanese stunner just fall into my lap for free! The only explanation had to be Tongzi.’

[DING! This is due to the reward the Host received last night—the ”Charm Aura”!]

[Charm Aura: Within the range of the Charm Aura, the rate at which a Goddess’s Affinity for the Host increases will be greatly accelerated.]

’So that’s why!’

’No wonder I’m so damn popular!’

’If I’d had this earlier, would I still have been single my whole damn life?’

’I could’ve just gone to Japan, laid back, and waited for the good times to roll in.’

’One AV star after another would’ve been lining up for me!’

HAHAHA!!!

[Friendly Reminder: The Host is getting ahead of himself. Only a Goddess evaluated by this system will experience a massive Affinity boost upon first sight of the Host!]

[Furthermore, Shiina Minami is acting this way toward the Host for other personal reasons as well.]

’Other reasons?’

Mengde frowned, lost in thought...

Just then, Minami finally let go of him.

She looked up at him, her tear-streaked face as beautiful as a rain-drenched pear blossom.

Her skin was fair and delicate, and her exquisite features looked like God’s perfect masterpiece.

She wore a black-and-white, Japanese-style school uniform, giving her a youthful and energetic, yet schoolgirl-like, air.

Her slender legs were wrapped in black knee-high socks, and on her delicate feet was a pair of small, black leather shoes.

Who wouldn’t be captivated by such an adorably helpless sight!

It was a cuteness overload!!!

(This author’s skills are limited, please forgive me, my dear patrons! I simply cannot do justice to Minami’s divine charm with mere words.)

’At this moment, I have to admit: I have absolutely no impure thoughts about the beautiful girl before me...’

’Well... other than the pure desire to hold her in my arms and dote on her...’

”Konnichiwa...”

Mengde wanted to ask Minami how she knew him.

But after struggling for a moment, the only words that came to mind were things like ”yamete,” which his ”teachers” had so diligently taught him through their personal instruction...

’This is what I get for being uncultured!’

After a long time of gesturing, it was Jiayi, the workplace elite, who ended up translating for him.

As for why she understood Japanese...

”Oh, I picked it up in my spare time during college. Forgot to mention, I’m fluent in eight languages!”

’Heh... the world of a top student is truly beyond the comprehension of a slacker like me.’

But he didn’t expect that an even bigger blow to his ego was yet to come.

”Onii-chan, Minami can understand the language of Hua Country!~”

Minami gave a sweet smile, and Mengde felt the entire living room grow a few degrees warmer...

’I’m done for~!’

’I’m done for~!’

’I’ve really fallen for her!’

But when Minami explained why she had hugged him the moment she saw him, he was left standing there, completely stunned...
