Chapter 802: Chapter 400: Scheming Against Each Other (Part 2)

Everyone needs this illusion...

Glancing northward, Baiyi’s eyes were thoughtful, wondering if Pu Sheng could prevent Gluttony from coming over.

After the gods discover this, at least one day’s time must be secured. If two gods attack together, he won’t be able to withstand...

Primarily because the Demon Soul Blood hasn’t refreshed, Baiyi feels no sense of security.

This time, it’s truly a situation of having only one life...

Lowering his head, Baiyi began seriously transforming these insect hives.

That Abyssal Race prefers to fight outside, and the Guard here can’t see Baiyi.

The shielding of Spiritual Power is such that even the Sanity Value of that Tier Two Forbidden might not be able to detect it.

During Baiyi’s transformation, he revisited the current situation of the Underworld.

The local forces are completely absent; the creatures here are like wild grass, harvested by the Abyss time and again, with no chance to grow.

Abyssal forces, nearly wiped out in the north, with ten days of time already seeing Gluttony starting to gnaw at the floor.

In the south, only three battlefields remain, where the Abyssal Race boss Caterlego—Baiyi’s abyssal boss—has strength around Tier Two Forbidden, and is the strongest Lord in the Underworld.

Next is the Flame Demon Insect Emperor Barro that Baiyi is currently transforming into.

Lastly, there’s a monster of Abyssal Soul strength, at Tier One Forbidden.

The lineup on the Hell Side is much more powerful.

Gluttony: Weak Divine Power.

Fallen Angel Siel: Weak Divine Power.

Forbidden: 6, but none reaching Tier Three Forbidden.

Legendary: Over 300.

Gold: Over fifty thousand.

This time, Hell has sent nearly seventy percent of its power from the 9th Floor of Hell.

As for the 8th Floor of Hell... that’s already consumed entirely by Gluttony, leaving no forces.

And the other layers of Hell...

Upon hearing about teaming with Gluttony, they all courteously declined the deployment, affirming they’d travel to Xia but not roam before these forces. Instead, they prefer to just hunt in the wild.

Still, even if it’s just the power from one layer of Hell, it remains frightfully formidable.

For Baiyi to stand against these forces, he must require a powerful aid. If he had Demon Soul Blood and time to build forces for the Light Side, he’d consider making a bold attempt to eliminate the Fallen Angel first.

But there are no ifs...

Currently, the most reliable method is to leverage the power of a Transformed Sage and an Alchemy and Potion Grandmaster.

However, relying solely on the Insect Emperor won’t suffice. With Feiya and Pu Sheng’s help now, he can afford to focus on crafting some more plans.

-----------------

”Is everything handled?”

”Yes, Your Highness, that’s not Earth Core Deposits but rather remnants of the Earth Core Deposits. Look at this.” Feiya said respectfully, reaching out with a thread of filthy energy faintly visible in her hand.

”Hmm?”

Siel sat up, and the cluster of Power of Filth flew into His hand.

Siel perceived it carefully, feeling somewhat disappointed. This was merely extreme filth distributed throughout the Federation by Sabo during his weakness, capable merely of proving Sabo’s presence here and his taking of the Earth Core Deposits.

It represented nothing more.

Even if He pursues it now, it would only be in vain, as Pu Sheng’s message was already apparent.

Lucre’s legacy is in his hands, but he doesn’t need it. He’s just waiting to exchange for Earth Mother’s Rules.

”Hmm, understood.”

Siel responded casually, His consciousness beginning to connect to various strands of Faith, with a series of images starting to transmit into His consciousness.

These are scenes fantasized using each Believer as a map point, yet for God, fantasy is indeed reality, and all He sees syncs with the real world, unless a being of higher Tier than God could block His vision.

This, Baiyi cannot achieve.

Unless he chose the Root of Illusion as his Divine Specialization.

By which his ability in the Dark Side might block the Fallen Angel’s view.

”Your Highness.”

Before Siel could look for long, a calm male voice broke the God’s fantasy.

Siel looked somewhat impatiently at Pu Sheng: ”My patience is not limitless.”

Pu Sheng shrugged confidently: ”Your Highness, I just remembered something and wanted to report it and remind you. If you don’t need it, I can refrain from saying it.”

Siel paused in silence, His gaze fixed on Pu Sheng for a long while before speaking grudgingly, ”Say it.”

”Why Lucre, Your Highness, died, Your Highness should be clear, right?” Pu Sheng asked with a smile.

Siel replied coldly, ”Killed by that Divine Abomination Dawn.”

”Tsk...” Pu Sheng shook his head. ”If that’s all you know, then I think you need a proper reminder.”

”I’ve told you what happened between me and Baiyi, but there’s one thing I didn’t mention...”

Siel’s impatience gradually faded from His eyes, as He inquired, ”What?”

Pu Sheng smiled, ”Companion.”

Siel furrowed His brows, looking at Feiya who seemed ready yet hesitant to speak, ”Do you have something to say?”

”No, Your Highness, but I feel the Caterlego battlefield is somewhat unusual, after all, those two Devils remain Tier Two Forbidden, if they died.....”

Siel’s gaze projected a scene, immediately focusing on the Caterlego, the Abyssal Race Forbidden battlefield.

God’s gaze scanned, His brow gradually furrowing.

Strange, this world is brimming with peculiarity.

He gestured for Feiya to leave and then looked at Pu Sheng: ”Continue.”

Pu Sheng didn’t waste time: ”In Dawn, I’ve met many people, but only three have left a profound impression.”

”Have you heard of the Master of Nature?”

Siel pondered and asked, ”That ancient Ancient God?”

”Correct, the Master of Nature, despite dying rather early, was undeniably powerful beyond imagination.” Pu Sheng nodded, recalling as he spoke.

The Master of Nature was an unusual Ancient God, His path starkly opposed to that of the Ancient Gods.

In the mid Ancient God Era, Ancient Gods began to absorb the World Rules from All Heavens and extended their reach to Xia’s Rules and the Source of the World.

But the Master of Nature resisted, His path more akin to the New Gods, at least until His death...

New Gods maintain the corresponding Xia Rules through their Divine Format, strengthening the rules, thereby attracting more Believers and ultimately achieving power.

In the Ancient God Era, the Master of Nature also opposed the other Ancient Gods absorbing World Rules.

However, He only opposed absorbing World Rules related to nature, for those were His cultivation, when all natural rules matured to His desired extent, He would swallow them all, progressing to a higher Realm.

Yet nature encompasses too many rules, leading to His swift demise.

Pu Sheng mentions this naturally to intensify interest in Dawn and capture Siel’s focus.

”His Inheritor is in Dawn.”

”That’s it?”

”No, I meant, this person doesn’t rank within the top three in Dawn in my view.”

Siel was slightly surprised, realizing a genuine interest stirred within Him, retrieving extraneous thoughts and studying Pu Sheng: ”Continue.”

Pu Sheng nodded with a smile, speaking in a patient, deliberate manner: ”In the Star and Sun realms stand their top-tier talents, all achieving Legendary status and being seeds of Forbidden.”

”But Dawn’s talents are exceptionally stunning, with the Child of Nature ranking fourth.”

Observing Siel’s expression and noticing His waning interest, Pu Sheng introduced a new angle: ”Third is Baiyi!”

Siel’s interest heightened: ”Meaning, Godslayer, Dawn didn’t exert its full force?”

”No, sir, ten days ago in battle, Dawn did exert its full force, but the shock I refer to isn’t in terms of battle power.”

”Perhaps the Daughter of Destiny succeeding the Child of Nature might clarify my point for Your Highness.”

”Destiny...” Siel’s eyes reflexively revealed gravity and anxiety.

Destiny represents greatness in the Prime Material Realm, an exclusive greatness, even post-fall. Anything concerning Destiny remains highly sensitive to Divine Format.

”Yes, except both the Child of Nature and the Daughter of Destiny are self-growth beings, currently not even Forbidden, requiring little concern.”

”The crucial point is that Lucre’s Inheritor, Sabo.”

”The source of Your Highness’s perceived oddities might be this long-absent Dongwu Finance Officer causing a stir.....”
