Chapter 750: Chapter 374: Undead Collaboration

The bone dragon continued its approach, and a castle with purple and blood-red hues appeared in the distance.

It didn’t seem particularly noteworthy, but if one had eyes that could see into the realm of destiny, it would be clear that the rules of this Undead Realm were swirling around this area.

However, these rules seemed somewhat strange, as if... they were not willingly here.

The bone dragon landed shakily, and the moment Diane and Yuan Tang touched the ground, it couldn’t help but flee into the Undead Calamity; the oppression of a high-level entity over a lower one was too terrifying.

Diane led Yuan Tang inside, and on the blood-red throne of the hall sat a beautiful woman applying a facial mask. Opposite her was a television playing a poignant love story.

”Miss Eliza, I’m here again.”

”I see, I see, otherwise how could you have come in?” Eliza yawned, speaking casually, looking nothing like a god, yet she was the Master of the Blood Race.

Diane wasn’t surprised by Eliza’s appearance; this god was different from the others, akin to a... shut-in, who had a preference for mortal love tales.

”This transaction, I wish to entrust you to be the agent.” Diane sat near the god with Yuan Tang, speaking softly.

Eliza’s yawning halted, her previously lazy eyes suddenly sharpened. She turned to look at Diane, squinted slightly in thought, and then lay back down.

”No deal, your proposal is good, but maybe next time. The Undead don’t have that kind of power right now.”

”You don’t need to confront the Ancient Gods head-on. If the Netherworld can claim Wei Sea, isn’t it possible for the Undead to claim Dawn?” Diane said with a smile. ”Perhaps sending out some information might have the Ancient Gods give some face?”

Eliza stretched and waved her hand: ”Let’s complete our transaction first. You know the situation of the Undead. Currently, the Undead can only ensure their own safety. Regarding Xia, we’ll only guarantee your and your family’s safety, nothing else, and the Undead will descend on Xia, but will not contend with the Ancient Gods.”

Diane felt a bit disappointed.

The current situation of the Undead is quite... awkward.

The Death God is a New God and the mainstay of the Undead. When He went to Xia, He took all the subordinate gods of faith with Him.

At present, most of the gods remain to guard the home, or are Plane Gods punished by the Death God for past mistakes.

Including Eliza, there are a total of four True God Level entities, and their conditions aren’t great.

There are quite a few Demigod levels, but demigods can’t change much in the upcoming situation.

After all, despite some demigods possibly having True God-like strength, they are few and far between.

”Besides...”

Eliza conjured a glass of red wine, drank it in one go, and smacked her lips: ”Your man is now a thorn in the side of the Gods; associating with him does not end well.”

Diane lowered her head to ponder, just as she was about to speak.

Yuan Tang spoke first: ”Your Highness, perhaps we can cooperate?”

Eliza frowned slightly, looking at Yuan Tang. She was familiar with Diane, who deserved equal treatment in her eyes, so she conversed with her like a friend.

But this one...

Buzz~

In another dimension, an immense oppressive aura suddenly descended.

Yuan Tang felt his body grow heavy, his forehead immediately covered in sweat. He was filled with shock at the difference... greater than he imagined.

A glint of curiosity flashed in his eyes, as spatial ripples appeared around him.

Eliza’s eyes showed a hint of interest, the oppressive aura following the spatial ripples instantly found Yuan Tang’s form, and the weight descended once more.

Diane noticed the situation here; she wanted to say something, but Yuan Tang raised a hand to stop her.

”Your Highness wishes to test me, then please evaluate this,” he said.

Buzz~

Even stronger spatial fluctuations descended. In the moment the god sought to seal this space, Yuan Tang preemptively sealed it.

Simultaneously, Yuan Tang’s form appeared more solid and yet more illusory, giving off a bizarre feeling.

Eliza seemed a bit surprised, sitting up to look at the young man before her, this being who appeared like a child to her eyes, from the Human Race, could he really have such an understanding and use of space?

The facial mask on her face vanished, revealing a stunningly beautiful face. She raised a hand, filling the castle with a sinister, cold breath, the rules of death flickering with blood-stained laws.

It was as if wielding the Death God’s scythe, ready to take everyone’s life.

Yuan Tang still smiled, his body becoming more illusory, his voice growing indistinct: ”Your Highness can try with full force; maybe I can take one of your strikes.”

Eliza frowned slightly, a trace of displeasure flashing in her eyes. She felt underestimated; that cold feeling suddenly magnified ten-thousandfold, even causing Necromancer Diane to feel intensely suffocated.

Diane worryingly wanted to say something, but the next moment, Yuan Tang’s presence suddenly grew extremely weak.

He continued to smile, stepping forward, his face pale as he entered reality.

”Hoo~ Your Highness, this is a painting for you.”

Yuan Tang pulled out a two-meter diameter painting from the void behind him. The painting depicted a young man, a white arm with scarlet-painted nails gripping the man’s neck.

The striking nails dug deep into the man’s neck, blood staining the arm’s hand, paired with some surrounding patterns, it looked bizarre and horrifying.

Eliza gazed at the man before her, whose magic power was nearly depleted, and a hint of a smile appeared at the corner of her mouth: ”I’ll accept this gift.”

He lay back down and said casually, ”What kind of collaboration are you talking about?”

This person was clever, using a Forbidden Curse to neutralize one of His attacks, but to withstand a blow from a God, and additionally having the same blood as Diane, was enough for Eliza to acknowledge this person.

Of course, mainly because of Diane’s connection, obtaining Xia’s Soul Resources peacefully was very important, and also, that Divine Abomination held some intimidation over Gods who hadn’t fully recovered.

”Let me introduce myself, I am Yuan Tang·Di Feng, Diane’s brother.”

”Just now, you mentioned that the Undead could protect the Di Feng Family after the Xia Barrier disappears, for that I am very grateful.”

”And in my view, perhaps more could be gained from the Undead collaborating with Dawn...”

Knock, knock, knock...

Eliza tapped the table, ”You seem unimportant, get to the point.”

Yuan Tang paused, reached out to take the Potion Diane handed over, and drank it in one gulp. His pale complexion improved significantly.

Eliza is a God of Middle Divine Power.

The Forbidden Curse at maximum power, while it could block an attack, was a Forbidden Level ultimate move, and he was only a Tier Seven Legendary, the full power pressure was too great.

Releasing it once basically left him completely without combat strength.

He could even clearly feel that the opponent didn’t use full force, nor had killing intent, otherwise even full power wouldn’t be able to block it.

After all, this two-dimensional Space System Forbidden Curse was created by Tier Ten Legendary Noel and couldn’t reach too high a Level.

”Alright, what I want to say is that the protection over Di Feng from the Undead can be canceled.”

”Hmm?”

Eliza was somewhat surprised, is there someone who actively asked not to have protection?

In the view of those qualified to know these things in All Heavens, in the future era where the Ancient Gods rule, rigid forces like Dawn and Star would be easily defeated.

Even with Baiyi, it’s the same; one is not a God and finds it difficult to resist a God.

Diane also looked at her brother with some surprise, but she didn’t speak to interfere. Although she didn’t quite understand what Yuan Tang was doing, she wouldn’t argue with him at this time either.

”Your Highnesses merely need to protect my sister, and we’ll hand over all our Soul Resources channel to her.”

He said with a faint smile on his pale face, ”But...”

”If Dawn can survive through this crisis, at least be able to resist the Gods that can enter Xia, then if Dawn cooperates with the Undead again, I think Your Highnesses won’t have concerns, right?”

”After all, the rise of the Undead is due to the New Gods, inherently different from other planes, isn’t it?”

Eliza looked at the young man before her, her eyes filled with thought.

Currently, the good regard of the Undead towards Diane, besides Soul Resources, also includes that Diane’s Profession heritage was left by the Subordinate God of Death — Shadow God.

This plane also misses its past glory.

Rather than being as fierce and fearful as it is now.

However, if the Undead truly cooperated with Dawn, the pressure they would face would be enormous.

Any Ancient God with Mighty Divine Power descending into the Undead Realm could inflict unbearable damage on the Undead.

This is the key reason the Undead dare not participate.

After a long pause, Eliza said calmly, ”A full collaboration is impossible, but if Dawn can truly achieve what you said, a Necromancer signing a demigod contract is not out of the question.”

Yuan Tang smiled and said, ”That’s enough, Your Highness. Cooperation should always show both parties’ sincerity.”

As he spoke, he reached out to Diane.

Diane understood and handed a ring over to Yuan Tang.

”This is the Soul transaction for this time, the agent is still Your Highness, we just require the same Soul Resources as the last transaction.”

Eliza took the ring and glanced inside, and immediately a bright smile appeared on her face.

”Of course, I’ll handle this matter, looking forward to your performance~”

”I haven’t toured the Undead Realm, so I won’t disturb Your Highness’s business.”

”Hehehe... go ahead, do you need me to find you a guide?”

”No need, Your Highness, my sister should be quite familiar with this place, so we’ll take our leave for now.”

As the two walked out of the ancient castle.

Diane pondered, saying, ”What you did is the same as the assistance I intended to get, even delayed... my goal is also demigod...”

”Not the same.”

Yuan Tang shook his head, ”Remember, Diane, benefits may bind closely, but strength is the foundation of ensuring those benefits.”

Diane was silent, ”But...”

”Furthermore, now we’re just talking about cooperation, demigods are free, why can’t we continue to talk with the remaining demigods?”
