Chapter 455: Chapter 237: The Doctor Who Spreads Plagues

Aileen’s eyes lit up: ”This tree must be at least a hundred thousand years old, right? Wow... it’s exactly like the one in the legacy...”

”Yes, this Tree of Life also belongs to Count Wei Laiwa, but the Elves all love Life Town, and the origin of Life Town is this great tree. If nothing unexpected happens, I will reside in Life Town for the next nine hundred years.”

Ronnie smiled, her eyes gleaming: ”Perhaps in the future, I’ll have my wedding here, under the witness of this tree, to declare my love; maybe there’ll be Elf babies too. Although we’ve only been together for a month, you can return anytime, I’ll always be here.”

Aileen imagined the scene Ronnie described, somewhat yearning and also beautiful: ”What a pity...”

”What’s the matter?”

”Nothing.” Aileen looked at Luoning, took a deep breath of the air rich in Life Element, and said: ”Little Luoning, are we leaving?”

Luoning had been somewhat silent since last night, she felt reluctant but still nodded: ”Let’s go, we must go.”

”Alright then.” Aileen looked at Ronnie: ”Thank you for taking us in for the past month, we’re leaving now.”

Aileen spoke without delay, holding Luoning’s hand and heading to the other side of the peak.

Ronnie just watched gently, the two girls did not look back. After they disappeared, she turned towards the town with a bit of loneliness.

Indeed, there is no banquet that doesn’t end...

”Where do we go now?”

”I don’t know...”

”You don’t know?”

”Hm...”

”Alright then, let’s just follow our instincts. This Inheritance Space is really interesting, letting me see the peace from the past, it’s truly wonderful...”

”Hm...”

The two of them stayed in this world for a long time, while only two days passed outside, inside this world half a year had already gone by.

In that half a year, the two girls traveled through many cities.

This place is just as wonderful as the records, though there are occasional beggars, and also capitalists, but compared to the Dark Era, this is practically heaven.

They visited the Life Sect and prayed to the statue of the Goddess of Life. They also went to the most powerful Kingdom, experiencing the order of the Human Race within the Kingdom.

They even found a small patch of the Elf Forest, enjoying the leisurely life of the Elves within.

This world might truly be what the world is meant to be like, with its imperfections, yet breathtakingly beautiful.

Time quickly flew by, another half year passed, they had been in this world for a full year while the outer world went by four days.

It seemed this inheritance required an extraordinary amount of time, so long that the two girls had started... to get used to the rules of this world and enjoy its beauty.

However, when they returned to the original little town, relaxing as they shared their adventurous stories with Ronnie, speaking of the wonders outside.

A strong sense of fear engulfed Luoning’s heart.

”It’s coming!”

She suddenly stood up, her abrupt movement startled the two.

”What’s coming?” ×2.

The moment both women’s voices sounded, Aileen abruptly reacted, her eyes showing some unwillingness. A year... a full 365 days and nights, how did it... just come now!

She was almost immersed in peace... lost!

”In what form?” Aileen asked in a low voice.

Luoning’s eyes were filled with fear, she hurriedly took out a set of her own Plague Doctor Set from the Space Ring, handing it to Ronnie.

”Quick, Sister Ronnie, put it on.”

Aileen listened to Luoning’s voice, her eyes showing a hint of fear.

”What? What’s happening?” Ronnie was somewhat puzzled, but still took a warm yellow outfit, looking at its small size, she hesitated: ”Little Lu, I really want to wear your nice-looking outfit, but it’s too small.”

”My...”

”Xiaolin’s is also too small.” Ronnie looked down, her face slightly red: ”Can’t wear it, right?”

”It’s equipment, it can automatically adjust its size, Sister Ronnie stop wasting time, it’s about too late!” Luoning urged with urgency, her eyes shone with golden light, even taking out a stack of Magic Scrolls.

But the appearance of a Golden Level scroll made this world start to tremble again, Luoning hurriedly put away the items, opening the remaining Silver Level scrolls without hesitation.

A Deep Blue light shield quickly enveloped the three of them, forming an Absolute Protection for this world.

”Is it like this?” Ronnie, flustered by Luoning’s tone, stripped off her clothes and put on Luoning’s clothes.

”Cough cough...”

”Why is my throat a bit itchy?”

Thud~

Golden-eyed Luoning, all her Magic Scrolls fell to the ground, murmuring: ”It’s over...”

Aileen looked at the older sister in front of her, wearing the Plague Doctor Set, a sudden disbelief appeared in her eyes.

Disease... so many diseases, so many illnesses!

She suddenly closed her eyes, facing Luoning: ”It’s not like I thought... right?”

”Cough cough...”

”Cough cough...”

”Cough cough...”

After Ronnie’s coughing, coughing sounds began to come from outside, these sounds immediately disturbed Aileen’s mind, making her open her eyes.

Ronnie had already finished changing, Luoning’s Plague Doctor Set which she designed herself, made her appear somewhat childish.

”Cough cough... What’s happening? I shouldn’t catch a cold.” Ronnie said, turning towards the kitchen to pour herself some juice, drinking it down in gulps.

”Cough cough cough...”

Just as she drank it, she suddenly began coughing violently, the juice trickling down from the corner of her mouth, soaking parts of her clothes.

”I seem to be sick, you two wait here, I’ll go to the clinic first to have a look.”

Ronnie said as she pushed open the door, heading outside.

Thud~

The sound of collapsing, Aileen sat on the ground, eyes full of fear looking at that back.

Even with the Plague Doctor Set’s obstruction... her body is still full of disease! She... was dying...

”Is this... my doing?”

She looked at her own hands, filled with disbelief and... regret if she hadn’t touched the Goddess of Life, would nothing that happened afterwards have occurred.

But it was her first time seeing a God belonging to the Elf Race, when He fell, no Elf would remain indifferent, right?

Luoning’s eyes were somewhat complicated, comforting: ”No, this is the Curse Doctor’s trial....”

”I must save them, Luoning, help me, I must save them, they can’t die because of me.”

Luoning reached out and pulled Aileen up, her eyes filled with sadness: ”Okay, we’ll save them together, but you must listen to me.”

”No problem, no problem, go go go, save Ronnie first, she can’t die, she absolutely cannot!”

Saying this, Aileen pulled Luoning and dashed out of the house, then was immediately stunned.

”Cough cough... cough cough...”

”Cough cough...”

The sound of coughing outside intensified, one by one people came onto the street heading to the clinic, everyone seemed to realize they were... sick.

These people... wanted to live.

Disease, why are there diseases in the world?

If only the world had no disease...

Aileen thought inexplicably....

”I want.... to save them....”

”Okay, we’ll save them together, but Sister Aileen, you need to think, you are a Curse Doctor, you are a doctor who is cursed.” Luoning said, a strong reluctance appeared in her eyes, she seemed a bit bewildered, looking upwards as if seeking some enlightenment.

But she received no response, deeply conflicted, yet ultimately made the choice best for Aileen: ”This is just a virtual Inheritance Space, it cannot pause....”

”Alright.... as long as I can save them....”

Outside.

Watching the rapidly moving scenes, Ding Ziyuan, who had brought many psychology books, had the book in her hands fall with a slap.

She looked somewhat bewildered at Baiyi: ”This kind of thing will only happen once... right?”

Baiyi looked at Marshall, only he could control this scene, Baiyi’s understanding of space wasn’t enough.

Marshall nodded, the scene before them quickly shrank, and a vast Kingdom slowly appeared before everyone.

”Hiss~”

Mina gasped, her eyes showing distress and reluctance.

”No wonder... no wonder...” Ding Ziyuan murmured: ”If the Curse Doctor’s inheritance is like this, then their psychology is bound to have massive issues.”

”Sinking in disease, reborn in disease, a doctor intending to save the world, yet spreading plague... destroying a real world....”

”Is this... the Curse Doctor?”
