Chapter 444: Chapter 232: Holy Spirit Breakthrough_3

When the low-cost mobiles from Dongwu City, after two months, reached beyond the boundaries of Dongwu City, the entire Federation was in an uproar. The one Silver Coin price meant that everyone could access the internet, everyone could acquire some knowledge that originally required purchase but was free among the Transcendents.

This moment made the entire Federation forget the slaughter from two months ago.

However, with a large number of civilians joining the internet, the online environment rapidly deteriorated, and although most civilians still had jobs with indeed increased wages, they still expressed dissatisfaction with the monthly fee of one Silver Coin for the internet.

Because their wages were not enough to pay for the internet fee, let alone conduct any transactions online.

In response, the Koman Clan made an emergency adjustment, dividing the internet into three tiers; 10 Copper Coins a month for a network with restricted speed, where one could surf the net but could not play games and such.

The kind where watching player-created short video series would experience buffering. ℯℯ𝘭.

The second tier is 50 Copper Coins a month, which is no different from the current internet, with no restrictions whatsoever.

The third tier remains at the original price, but the Grandmaster Sunu optimized the internet, doubling the original speed. Now, the Alchemy Magic Net is becoming more and more perfected.

The upgrade in processing can bring consistent good reviews from customers.

The network tier also reduced the pressure on the staff, and although the civilians still felt that 10 Copper Coins was expensive, it was the first time civilians voiced their opinions and got a response. In this Extraordinary world, they were already satisfied with a response.

However, the more people there were, the worse the internet environment became, especially as the player short video section grew increasingly popular, all sorts of ghouls and monsters appeared.

Even some content, which appeared to players as a pile of mosaics, were overly indecent or overly gory scenes that got filtered out by the panel.

The players were heartbroken, feeling this was very similar to the early days of the Blue Star internet rollout.

Some players, holding onto the mindset of ”If I can’t see it, why should NPCs?”, decisively sought out Sunu. Some network experts among the players and Sunu optimized the network again, directly banning the circulation of most gory and indecent content.

Even in the players’ feasible proposal to prevent the internet from affecting people’s cultivation, real-name registration plus an anti-addiction system emerged, making civilians, who had finally gotten involved in the Alchemy Magic Net, deeply resentful.

At one point, they did not have a good impression of the player group. Of course, although most civilians were annoyed by this group of players, the players were on average at the Bronze Middle Tier, and in face-to-face interactions, they still called them ”Lord Qiguan”.

There weren’t any major conflicts.

With the optimization of the internet, the military recruitment in Dongwu City was more or less complete, followed immediately by the legion eliminations.

This time, Sabo constructed an extra-large city outside the city using Earth Treasure, simply enclosing a piece of empty land with Earth Treasure at a cost of less than a thousand Gold Coins.

After dividing up the space, they immediately... started selling tickets! Cashing in.

The Transcendents found it hard to get a ticket as they certainly wanted to see what their future opponents looked like.

Seeing such a hot demand, Sabo and the four major Border Cities in the east, along with Dongwu City, continued building these venues and quickly began making money, even forming an entire industrial chain.

Snacks, betting, and intelligence trading made these areas rapidly popular, spreading to other cities. Large tournament-hosting cities directly copied Sabo’s innovation, starting to rake in gold.

After all, the house takes a 20% cut, and the winners share the losers’ money.

Why not enjoy the guaranteed-winning events?

It wasn’t just about the events; in the Inner City District, many nobles had died due to rebellions, and although many areas in the Outer City District had houses built, no one resided there.

This portion of land also started to be auctioned off, heralding the prosperity of the entire Federation... it had begun.
