The Yellow-Haired Villain in Soaring Phoenix's Novels Also Desires Happiness

The Love God found it unbelievable and simply could not understand why that Black Sun would actually possess such a thing as well.

One had to know that His very existence at this moment was already something that greatly exceeded common sense. As for this Divine Kingdom... although it had only just taken embryonic form, how could something like that possibly be so easy to construct?

Back then, the Authority of the Silent Moon had wanted to secretly establish a Divine Kingdom and deceive the heavens, but ultimately failed. Although that was because someone had obstructed Him, one could still imagine just how difficult this was.

But how could an existence that had only just been born and could still only be considered an ”infant” possibly...

Could it be...

”【Was it thou?】”

The image of a book page was reflected within that ferocious eye. As though suddenly understanding something, the Love God once again fell into a state of frenzied rage:

”【Was this thy doing again? What exactly art thou plotting? And this human... what kind of existence is he, exactly? To be worthy of thee doing this...】”

If she was behind it...

Then many things made sense.

But He still could not understand... her objective.

”【It seems this was also something thou hadst already calculated...】”

The Love God no longer fled. All the pieces of flesh gathered together once again, becoming the original tumor of flesh. The enormous single eye opened within it and stared at the pitch-black sun in the sky.

For the time being... He could not transfer away.

Now that He was already inside the other party’s Divine Kingdom, even He had nowhere to escape.

Most importantly, there were no other living creatures here that could become His host, so His Authority could not take effect either.

【Heh】.

The existence sitting high upon the divine throne within the Black Sun seemed to have already completely regarded the Love God as prey held within His palm. A contemptuous sneer was transmitted over in a form that was absolutely not language.

”【...Dost thou believe thy victory is assured?】”

Countless bulging veins immediately appeared across the tumor of flesh, dancing wildly like a swarm of snakes.

He had been looked down upon...

That human from before could be ignored. As a lofty god, He would not stoop so low as to argue with a mere human.

But in the end, this Black Sun was only a newly born ”infant.”

What qualifications did it have... to act arrogantly before Him?

”【Dost thou truly believe I possess no combat strength at all?】”

A sacred hymn began to play.

Pure white wings unfolded behind the ferocious tumor of flesh. A holy aura suddenly spread outward, and pure radiance seemed intent on cleansing all filth.

Holy Light originating from the Life Goddess gathered together and transformed into a spear of divine judgment that shot into the sky. That blazing radiance did not lose in the slightest to the true sun and instantly dispersed all the darkness!

This was the portion of Holy Light He had taken from the Church of Life. Although it was only one portion, with the Church of Life’s accumulation over so many years, its current level was already sufficient to...

Buzz...

However, when that spear of divine judgment pierced into the Black Sun, it was as though it had stabbed into some kind of swamp. Before it could even take effect, it was instantly swallowed.

The blurry figure within the Black Sun still sat high upon the divine throne, but within His hand, He was playing with a sculpture the size of a figurine. One could vaguely see that it had the outline of Life Goddess Aimier.

The sculpture also emitted an extremely dense aura of Holy Light. Although its quantity was very small, its purity was extremely high. The Holy Light power released by the Love God was attracted and assimilated because of it... Although it was not enough to make all the Holy Light completely break free from the Love God’s control, it was already enough to change the direction in which the scales tilted.

”【...】”

The Love God fell silent once again.

Aggrieved.

As a lofty god, this was the first time He had experienced such a human emotion.

No, it should be said that He had experienced it long ago, but it had never before been this clear.

Whether it was the Black Sun before Him or each scene from the past...

It suddenly gave Him the illusion that the yellow-haired human... had been born into this world specifically to oppose Him.

But... how could He possibly tolerate such a thing?

”【I refuse to accept this! A mere yellow-haired human! A mere newborn counterfeit! I will never accept it!】”

The twisted tumor of flesh suddenly split apart. A drop of thick, pitch-black blood flowed from the shattered ferocious eyeball and fell onto the ground.

After falling, the blood instantly vanished, as though it had completely dissolved into the earth.

The Demon God’s blood had already become extremely poor at corroding dead matter. Even if it corroded the ground, it would be even more impossible for it to allow Him to defeat that Black Sun.

But in the next moment, the earth suddenly began trembling. The thick sea of fog in the distance began rolling, and an enormous shadow gradually rose from within that Shattered Sea before rapidly approaching!

The target of the Demon God’s blood was not the ground, but something even deeper beneath the ground... all the way to another thing He had hidden within that Shattered Sea!

Boom!

An enormous tentacle stretched out from the fog and then smashed down violently. The ground instantly cracked apart, and foul-smelling mucus flowed down from the tentacle. The mucus seemed to possess some kind of terrifying corrosive property, and even rocks and mountains rapidly dissolved within it.

”Roar——”

The low roar seemed to come from ancient times, causing the entire world to resonate.

The sea of fog boiled violently, like boiling oil being poured into calm water. The will of the world was continuously resisting the filth that should not have existed. Dirty, foul-smelling remains were repeatedly thrown out from within the mist, instantly corroding patches of scorched-black wounds into the ground.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

More tentacles surged within the fog. Finally, they tore through the mist, allowing its true appearance to manifest within this world!

Twisted tentacles.

A body of flesh crawling forward.

It resembled some kind of pile of flesh and blood that had grown chaotically.

If Muen still possessed reason at this moment, he would definitely have immediately recognized that the thing appearing now unexpectedly bore some resemblance to the ”Cthulhu” he had encountered earlier while following Miss Dragon across the Shattered Sea.

But this so-called resemblance was only in the way their bodies were constructed. Their actual detailed appearances were very different, because both of them looked completely like creatures some Creator had drawn at random with closed eyes. Every part and every organ possessed not the slightest trace of logic.

Yet it existed within this world.

Furthermore, compared to the previous one, the one appearing now was even larger, nearly more than ten times its size. Forget a giant dragon—even the ruins of that city now appeared so small before the enormous crawling monstrosity.

With its size, it actually approached the pitch-black sun hanging high in the sky directly. Its thick tentacles extended toward it, as though intending to drag even that blazing sun in the heavens into its belly!

Crunch...

The pitch-black sun naturally would not allow such filth to approach. It suddenly ground forward, and endless black flames descended like an overturned curtain of heaven, instantly covering most of the monster’s body.

The swaying black flames rapidly devoured it. Even such nauseating filth seemed unable to avoid the fate of becoming food for the Black Sun...

However.

The moment the black flames devoured the monster’s flesh, that flesh regrew in an even more terrifying form. Its speed actually exceeded the speed at which the black flames devoured it. Although it was difficult to say whether the newly grown flesh and the original flesh were the same kind of thing, it had originally been a pile of indescribable things. This growth still neutralized the might of the black flames.

This was... the Authority of the Mother of Abundance!

”【I never expected that I would actually be forced to this point.】”

Countless eyes opened across the monster’s deformed body. Every single eye carried malice as they glared furiously at the Black Sun in the heavens.

What flowed within those eyes was frenzied greed driven to its absolute limit by rage!

”【Since it has come to this... it matters not even if I expend the trump card I obtained with such difficulty. As long as I devour thee... I will still be the final victor!】”

Gurgle, gurgle.

More and more filth fell from the monster’s body, like a snow-covered mountain melting in summer. On the upper half of the monster’s body, once those sticky, mutated masses of flesh automatically detached, the thing buried beneath them was revealed.

Those were... corpses.

One corpse after another, too many to count, continuously piled together and fused, occupying almost half of the monster’s body.

They resembled some kind of frenzied artistic sculpture, looking toward the same direction with a strange sense of coordination.

Some clawed at their faces, some reached out their hands, and some scratched at their hearts... These corpses had clearly suffered enormous pain while alive, yet endless fanaticism and infatuation still remained upon their twisted faces.

It seemed that at that time, they had all... followed some existence together. Even when death arrived at the final moment, their steadfast belief in that existence had still not wavered.

And at the place where all their gazes converged... there was also a corpse.

But compared to the other twisted corpses, this corpse was much calmer. He was like a mummy lying within an ancient coffin. Other than appearing excessively emaciated after being worn away by the long passage of time, there was not the slightest trace of decay across his entire body. It looked completely as though he had merely fallen asleep.

And now, pitch-black, sticky patterns of blood gradually surfaced across the corpse’s body. Under the effect of the Demon God’s blood, his eyelids... trembled lightly.

Crunch!

The Black Sun ground forward once again. This time, it was not only the black flames. Even the entire solar disk seemed to be actively pressing downward... The blurry existence within the Black Sun had long since lost His previous lazy posture. Even though it was only a mere human corpse, it seemed to make even Him instinctively feel uneasy!

Thus, the black flames gathered into a sea, instantly devouring all those obstructing tentacles before violently surging toward the monster’s body—or rather, toward the corpse at the very center of that body!

Buzz——

But at that exact instant, moonlight suddenly scattered down.

The entire world fell into absolute silence.

Even the surging sea of black flames became calm. The night arrived without a sound, soothing every disturbance in the world.

The Authority of the Silent Moon!

Throughout this long period of time, what the Love God had stolen... or rather, casually collected, was not limited to the power of the Withering King or the Church’s Holy Light. Whether it was His previous cooperation with the Mother of Abundance or His even earlier scavenging of the Authority of the Silent Moon’s corpse, both had allowed Him to obtain a portion of the corresponding powers.

And now, He actually used all of these powers without holding anything back.

Because of this, He finally delayed things for long enough, allowing the corpse that had slept for at least a thousand years to finally... completely open its eyes under the effect of the Demon God’s blood.

Those eyes looked very ordinary. The cloudy light within their pupils could not even reflect the appearance of this world. They resembled the eyes of an ordinary old man.

”Anchor.”

His voice was also very ordinary. It did not possess the strangeness of the Love God imitating human speech. It seemed as though this old man had simply awakened from a brief, pleasant sleep.

However.

When those simple words spread outward, an invisible outline suddenly enveloped heaven and earth.

Then, he spoke again.

”Heaven——Earth——Overturn!”

The world was overturned.

So naturally.

The earth became the sky, and the sky became the earth.

All other rules remained unchanged, and therefore, things in the sky would still fall toward the earth.

And so, from the Black Sun’s perspective at this moment... from His point of view...

An entire planet suddenly came crashing down toward Him!
