Hiss~

Looking down at the nearly hundred-zhang-wide massive crater full of cracks, and the torn sky above, even with Xiao Yan’s composure, he couldn’t help but suck in a breath of cold air.

Such terrifying destructive power, truly worthy of a Dou Zun level battle.

As the energy aftershocks gradually calmed, the smoke and dust shrouding the mountain peak slowly dispersed. Ah Da hovered in midair, his gaze looking down.

Wei Yang and the others also turned their eyes below.

Roar~

A heaven-shaking roar suddenly erupted from the deep crater still filled with rolling smoke and dust. Then it transformed into a tangible sound wave, exploding outward with a bang, sweeping away all the lingering smoke and dust at the crater’s edge.

Boom!

Immediately after, an incomparably massive figure, like a colossal tower, shot out from the crater, hovering in the air. It was a giant bear, nearly a hundred meters tall.

The bear’s entire body was pitch-black, its fur standing upright like steel needles. On its chest were eight silver fur-patterns.

What shocked them even more was that behind the bear, there was actually a massive black tail, nearly twenty meters long. As the tail lashed through the air, it stirred up violent gusts of wind, looking like a dragon’s tail.

”This is an Ancient Dragon Bear!” Xiao Yan couldn’t help but cry out, his face filled with shock.

Wei Yang was also astonished by this colossal beast. His gaze swept first across the eight silver fur-patterns on the bear’s chest, then focused on the dragon-like tail behind it, his eyes narrowing slightly.

Dragon Bear, such a ferocious magic beast, had basically gone extinct on today’s Dou Qi Continent.

Because it belonged to the category of ancient exotic beasts, extremely rare, and moreover carried a trace of dragon bloodline within, its strength was terrifying, its body incomparably powerful.

According to ancient records, this Dragon Bear was also called the Nine-Pattern Demon Dragon Bear. The silver fur-patterns on its chest weren’t for decoration but for measuring its strength.

It was said that when a Dragon Bear possessed nine dragon patterns, the dragon bloodline within it would fully awaken.

At that time, the Dragon Bear would undergo a transformation. If successful, it would evolve into the Ultimate Dragon Bear.

By then, shattering the sky and splitting the earth would be as easy as lifting a hand. Thus, those fur-patterns were called dragon patterns.

The Dragon Bear before them already had eight dragon patterns. If one more appeared, this giant would become the Ultimate Dragon Bear, a creature so infamous that even in ancient times, its name struck terror.

Even compared to the Nine-Colored Heaven Swallowing Python or the Hou, it would be no weaker.

Wei Yang narrowed his eyes, unable to stop a flicker of greed. Seeing this beast, he couldn’t help but feel the urge to subdue it, mainly for its potential. Because if nurtured well, perhaps it could recreate the legend of the ancient Ultimate Dragon Bear.

That would be a Dou Sheng!

Everyone’s eyes were filled with awe, fixed on the massive Dragon Bear that had revealed its true body.

Perhaps because it had exposed its real form, the aura of the Dragon Bear now felt even more ferocious and violent than before. Its pair of blood-red giant eyes locked tightly on the tiny figure of Ah Da, like an ant before it.

Roar~

The Dragon Bear suddenly bellowed, smashing its fists madly against its chest, howling at the sky. Each enormous fist pounded its chest so hard that even the surrounding space trembled.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

A series of deep, thunderous drum-like sounds echoed as its fists kept pounding. As if venting its rage, the Dragon Bear’s gaze once again fixed on the small figure of Ah Da.

”Come again!”

With a furious roar, the Dragon Bear stomped forward, crushing the space beneath its feet. On its ugly, ferocious face, a bloodthirsty and violent expression emerged.

Its fist then swung directly toward Ah Da. With one punch, a violent storm howled, producing a sharp, low booming sound that resonated across heaven and earth.

Faced with the Dragon Bear’s punch in its true form, even Ah Da had to get serious. He thrust out his palm, twisting the space in front of him. Vast spatial power surged forth, rapidly condensing into a thick shield of distorted space.

Bang!

The giant fist covered in black fur smashed violently against the spatial shield, shattering it apart with unstoppable force.

Immediately, its massive palm suddenly spread open, and the black bristles on its arm turned, in that instant, into countless sharp arrows, sweeping forth in a dense barrage.

Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!

Those black spikes were terrifyingly fast, piercing through space itself, and in a flash appeared directly in front of Ah Da.

At the tips of those spikes, faint traces of dark yellow energy fluctuations could be seen. Clearly, though these things didn’t look too impressive, if they hit, the result would definitely not be pleasant.

But with Ah Da’s eyesight and experience, he naturally would not underestimate the opponent’s attack. He chuckled, ”Big guy, so you’re actually trying to play tricks with this old man.”

With a flick of his sleeve, pitch-black cold air spewed forth like water pillars, colliding with those spikes.

The extreme chill instantly froze the spikes in midair, and with a slight tremor, they shattered into countless shards of ice, scattering downward.

Boom!

Just as the cold air spread out, a massive shadow suddenly plummeted from the sky, the terrifying gale it carried making Ah Da’s expression change slightly as the entire sky above him went black. It was a colossal fist, smashing down furiously.

Without even thinking, Ah Da raised his hand. The cold air swirling around instantly condensed into a thick shield of black ice to meet the blow.

Boom~

The giant fist struck, landing heavily on the black ice shield. The terrifying force made the shield creak and crack with fine fractures.

Whoosh~

Just as he blocked the fist, Ah Da caught sight from the corner of his eye of a massive black shadow sweeping in like a thick iron rod.

He struck out with a palm imprint to block it. Only then did Ah Da realize that the enormous black shadow was actually the Dragon Bear’s massive tail.

That dragon tail, after missing its strike, quickly recoiled, lashing violently through the air twice before fiercely whipping at him again.

Seeing a spatial rift appear where the tail passed, Ah Da couldn’t help but feel a headache. ”This beast, such terrifying brute force.”

He understood his master’s intent. Clearly, there was interest in subduing this beast. Therefore, some of his more lethal methods he couldn’t use, lest he overdo it and cripple the creature.

In truth, if it came down to raw combat strength, even this transformed Dragon Bear was far from being a match for a peak Seven-Star Dou Zun like Ah Da, especially with the Nine Serene Wind Flame in his body.

But while the Dragon Bear could fight with everything it had, Ah Da could not. If he truly unleashed his ultimate moves, he might accidentally kill the beast.

After all, his strongest methods were aimed at the soul.

With such scruples, he couldn’t go all out against the Dragon Bear, but without using his trump cards, he couldn’t quickly take it down either. On top of that, he had to be careful against the beast’s terrifying brute strength.

As a result, his fighting was inevitably somewhat restrained. Of course, Ah Da also had the thought of testing this Dragon Bear’s limits.

He wanted to see whether this beast truly had the qualifications to become his master’s subordinate.

After all, Wei Yang was watching from the side. Thus, Ah Da deliberately suppressed part of his power, flickering through the air like a tiny flea, moving swiftly around the Dragon Bear, not in any rush to end the battle.

With Ah Da holding back on purpose, the Dragon Bear completely unleashed itself, punching, kicking, and lashing its tail, fighting with wild joy. Brute force, direct clashes, a fierce and merry brawl.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

One after another, waves of energy rippled out. The void constantly shattered and then mended again.
