Crystal City

The next morning,

After getting out of bed, I started doing my morning routine. The routine lasted for one hour. Then I entered the bathroom to take a shower.

15 minutes later,

I walked out of the bathroom. Then I changed into new clothes. After getting ready, I left the room.

I came to the ground floor. I saw the members there.

”Are you guys ready?” I asked.

Otto, Patrick, Hank, and old man Rock were gathered here.

”Master, we will split into teams and go to other cities to collect information,” Otto said.

Hearing that, I agreed with the plan.

”Otto and Patrick should form one team. Hank and Old Man Rock should form the second team,” I said to them.

The four of them agreed. Then they left the place.

I went back to my room. I waited for the zero puppet to come back. I didn’t know the latest updates regarding the current situation.

Not long after, red smoke entered the room through the window. The red smoke reverted to its original form.

The black armor puppet appeared before me.

Once again, the zero puppet started speaking. It was revealing information about the latest developments.

The wizard forces had their own teams to collect intel. They wouldn’t have expected the red smoke to collect information from them.

Because of it, I was getting concrete information right now. The Red Tower Wizards were once again at the forefront of exploration.

”Master, the Red Tower Wizards seem to have found some clues. But no one on the outside knows it,” Zero puppet said.

Hearing that, I was not surprised. If someone was collecting intel, why would they reveal the information to others?

A few minutes later,

The zero puppet completed the information sharing again.

”Alright, you have done your job. Now stay in the building. Others have gone to collect information as well,” I said to the zero puppet.

The zero puppet agreed. The puppet turned into red smoke. It left the place through the window.

Seeing that, I shook my head before appearing inside the Gregor Mansion. Then I came to the middle of the hall.

I sat cross-legged on the ground. Then I closed my eyes and began to run the Gravity Ark Mental Method.

The gravity mana entered my body. I circulated the mana inside my body. After reaching the mana core space, it was sucked in by the mana core.

I continued to repeat the process.

....

Black Tower

Forbidden Wizard Remi was in the Black Tower right now. He had become restless due to the recent news. He heard that Vincent Carey had returned.

He was shocked. He didn’t expect the kid to return at this time. Remi had thought of using the current chaos to eliminate Vincent Carey.

He had failed many times earlier to eliminate Vincent Carey. If he were able to eliminate Vincent Carey, then it would be one less headache for him.

Remi decided to act. He decided to use this opportunity. But he wouldn’t tell others. He was sure that the Elders wouldn’t agree.

They wouldn’t dare to offend the higher-ups of the Mage Union. But he was different. He wouldn’t get another opportunity.

Remi then left the Black Tower. He was going to Crystal City right now. He wanted to confirm whether the kid was present there or not.

If the kid was there, then he would slowly make a plan to eliminate the kid.

Meanwhile

Manager Lara received the rewards for Vincent Carey. Lord Charlotte directly gave the rewards to her. She had also heard that Vincent Carey had received a mission from the lord.

So she decided to leave the Silver Tower. She was going to hand over the rewards to Vincent Carey before he left for the mission.

Shortly afterwards,

Lara left the Silver Tower. Her departure was noticed by various spies. They shared the information with the higher-ups like regular updates.

Forbidden Wizard Remi was using the airspace. Usually, the Magic Tower wizards wouldn’t do that. This time, the situation was complicated.

His flight didn’t draw much attention.

A few hours later,

He arrived at Crystal City. Forbidden Wizard Remi’s gaze swept across the place. He had heard details about where Vincent Carey was staying in the city.

After asking around, he found the area of the crystal community. Instead of flying above the place, he entered the crystal community on foot.

He didn’t want to draw attention from others. He then saw that there were many other houses in the community.

He knew where the house of Vincent Carey was. He didn’t know where Vincent Carey had been able to hire the Appraiser named Frank.

That person had not been in the shop for a long time. He thought Vincent Carey might have sent him away somewhere else.

If the Appraiser Frank were here, he would have done something to destroy the business or he would have hired him for the Black Tower.

What a pity. Remi shook his head. He then continued walking forward. Soon, he found the house and shop of Vincent Carey.

Meanwhile,

[Ding! The presence of the Forbidden Wizard Remi has been detected.]

The system voice sounded in my mind. Hearing that, I ended my practice and appeared outside the room.

The red smoke entered the room through the window next. It reverted to its original form.

”Master, a Forbidden Wizard has come to the place,” Zero puppet said.

”I know.” After saying that, I put the zero puppet inside the Gregor Mansion. Then I left the room and went to the ground floor in a hurry.

Then I entered the shop, turned on the hidden cameras, and started livestreaming. I didn’t know how strong the perception of the Magic Lord was.

If he paid attention, then he would notice the problem. After doing all of that, I left the room.

Then I went to my room and phoned Otto. When he answered the call, I told him not to return to the city until I said so.

Similarly, I phoned Hank and told him not to return until I called them back.

After doing that, I entered the Gregor Mansion.
