S-Rank Harem: I Became My Character with Extra Control Skill

The young demon had no prohibitions in the new castle. For that very reason, despite standing right behind that large wooden door, the girls had simply ignored him completely.

No one in the group felt that a mere child was a threat that needed to be dealt with immediately. From the beginning, Ryan had made it clear to his entire party how they should treat this intruder.

He explained to them that this young demon was not a prisoner, but an object of exchange.

They would care for him as a guest in the castle, and nothing more. There would be no unnecessary torture or punishment that could harm him.

’Or at least that was the plan we had. But, now there is something I am curious to experiment with him,’ Ryan thought, observing the scene in front of him.

Ryan settled into his stone throne, looking at the child holding his mage’s weapon with such confidence.

”Damn brat, just go to sleep or go play in your room,” Helen demanded loudly.

The swordsman took a step forward and frowned, showing her obvious annoyance at the interruption.

”I’m not a brat!” the boy grumbled.

He clenched his teeth and glared at Helen angrily, trying to look intimidating in front of the women who had defeated a demon king.

’Yeah, right,’ Ryan thought, seeing the young demon’s childish attitude.

”Maybe we should tie him up, I think we’ve been too nice to him,” Lise suggested.

The dragon showed a malicious smile upon seeing the boy. She was amused by the idea of scaring him a little more so he would learn his place in this castle.

At that comment, the young demon let out a whine of panic. He took a step back, feeling the real danger in the dragon’s eyes. Then he swallowed hard and filled himself with courage so as not to run out of the throne room.

”I-I’m saying it for your own good,” the boy claimed.

He tried to justify his earlier warning, assuring that his father really would kill them all.

”Sorry, Your Majesty, it’s my fault,” Chloe immediately apologized, looking very uncomfortable.

”I should be taking care of him, but I’m here interrupting your time,” she added, looking down in front of Ryan and the other girls.

”I will take him to his room right now,” Chloe added, approaching the young demon to get him out of the place as quickly as possible.

”But first, give me my staff,” Karol demanded, stopping Chloe.

The mage approached the boy as she spoke, keeping her eyes fixed on her valuable magic weapon.

”That is not an object to be playing with, kid. Don’t you understand how dangerous it is to hold that in your hands?” Karol raised her voice, looking very worried about the staff.

”If you had charged it with just a little bit of your mana, you would have blown into a thousand pieces,” the mage warned.

’I wonder if that’s true?’ Ryan thought.

At that direct comment about exploding, the boy’s eyes widened.

Surprise and fear invaded him all at once. He dropped the staff immediately, as if the weapon were burning in his hands.

”But don’t throw it!” Karol yelled, seeing her weapon falling to the floor.

The mage ran toward the staff as it descended through the air.

She prevented the staff from touching the stone floor by using her flight magic quickly and precisely. A faint blue glow surrounded the weapon, and she pulled the staff toward her own hands, hugging it with great relief.

”I’m sorry, I’m so sorry, Your Majesty,” Chloe apologized again.

The human girl was in a cold sweat, fearing that Ryan’s patience would run out because of this mess.

”Beatrice, bring the brat here,” Ryan ordered, ignoring Chloe’s apologies.

He looked at his demon girl, indicating with a nod that she should catch the boy.

She didn’t wait for further instructions.

Instantly, the infernal moved with overwhelming speed.

The boy disappeared from his place at the hall’s entrance in the blink of an eye, and Beatrice appeared again right in front of Ryan, at the base of the throne’s steps.

She was holding the young demon, who was now hanging upside down, gripped firmly by an ankle.

”Let me go, demon, witch!” the youth grumbled.

The boy began to thrash his body uselessly, trying to free himself from Beatrice’s strong grip, but he couldn’t break loose.

’Is demon supposed to be an insult among them?’ Ryan thought, amused by the lack of sense in the youth’s words.

”What do you want me to do with him?” Beatrice asked.

The infernal ignored the boy’s kicking and looked up at Ryan, waiting for his next order under the curious gaze of the rest of the girls.

Ryan didn’t answer her look.

He planted his eyes directly on Chloe, who was still standing near the door, watching the scene nervously.

”Erase his memory,” Ryan said completely naturally.

He gave the order as if it were the most normal thing in the world, without showing any doubt in his voice.

”What?” the young demon said with sudden astonishment.

The boy stopped kicking and opened his eyes, terrified by what he had just heard.

”What?” Chloe asked.

The holy knight was totally confused by Ryan’s sudden order. She didn’t expect to be asked to use her magic at this moment.

”You heard me, it’s your chance to test that power in front of me,” Ryan explained, settling into his seat.

”The conditions you mentioned a few minutes ago in this room have just been met. You said you could do it without problems as long as it’s a recent event in his mind,” Ryan added, reminding her of her own words.

”But Your Majesty, I have never put it into practice with anyone,” she answered with many doubts.

Chloe tried to make excuses, fearing to make a mistake and damage the mind of Ryan’s valuable guest.

”I don’t want you to make excuses now,” Ryan said, looking at Chloe very coldly.

”The brat heard everything we talked about here. I don’t want him to tell his father,” Ryan said, giving a clear reason for his order.

Although he really didn’t care in the slightest what the boy heard. And that was why he had allowed him to be behind the door from the beginning.

But Ryan wanted to see Chloe’s power for himself. So he made it clear that he would not take no for an answer or any other excuse from her.

The pressure of Ryan’s gaze was too much for the young prisoner to resist.

”A-as you command, Your Majesty,” she said.

Chloe lowered her head, surrendering to Ryan’s absolute authority in the throne room.

She began to advance with slow steps toward the throne where Beatrice was holding the boy.

Seeing her approach, the young demon understood what was going to happen and began to kick with much more desperation.
