Chapter 1096: Chapter 1130: Nangong Bing’s Plea (Monthly Ticket)

“Alright, alright, I know you’re serious, okay?” Nangong Bing rolled her eyes, a bit helpless towards him, and with a wry smile said, “Hey, Lin Zifeng, could you help me out with something? I believe in you; as long as you step in, you can definitely help me.”

“Help? Help with what?” Lin Zifeng was first confused and couldn’t figure out what she meant.

Nangong Bing cleared her throat. It was her first time asking someone for a favor, although Lin Zifeng had helped her many times before, but this time, asking for help for the first time felt somewhat embarrassing.

“Here’s the thing: Ruyan just returned from overseas, and she wants to develop her career in Zhonghai. If she wants to develop, she’ll certainly need support.”

“You want me to give her money?” Lin Zifeng got dizzy, saying, “Really? Her family is so rich, you wouldn’t want me to give her money, right? Moreover, even if I were to give her money, I don’t have any.”

Nangong Bing’s neck turned red with anger, “Who said you should give money? Stop guessing blindly before listening properly, okay?”

“Then how do you want me to help?” Lin Zifeng was still not clear about her intentions. Did she want his Martial Arts World connections to lend full support?

That’s not feasible. Moreover, given his current influence, the Nantian Gang isn’t stable yet, and Nangong Bing doesn’t even know about it. How could it be?

“You need to listen to me first, okay? It’s disrespectful to guess wildly before someone finishes talking, you know?” Nangong Bing felt she really wanted to find a hole to crawl into.

“Alright, alright, alright, I’ll admit to my rashness this time. So, tell me, what kind of help does she want? If it’s within my abilities, I can consider it. If it’s beyond them, I’m afraid I won’t be able to fulfill your wish.”

Liu Ruyan’s family is among the global Chinese oil tycoons, and the future enterprise Lin Zifeng intends to build has nothing to do with oil and related matters.

“Here’s the thing, Ruyan was a very good classmate of mine; she’s also my good sister. So, I hope you can use some connections to find a decent enterprise in Zhonghai for her to get some hands-on experience and familiarize herself with the industry. Her main purpose coming back this time is to find a corporate group to hone her skills. Of course, it shouldn’t be below the general manager position, or she wouldn’t be interested.”

Nangong Bing realized her request might be a bit over the top. A general manager in an enterprise—what level is that? Even if you’re a Cambridge graduate…

Without any social work experience, companies will still ignore you.

“Is this your requirement or hers?” Lin Zifeng’s face darkened. Is this looking for a job, or is this just to enjoy at the enterprise? Apart from one’s own enterprise willing for such indulgence, who else would dare casually hand over their enterprise to a spendthrift queen as an experiment?

“Let’s say it’s her requirement. If other enterprises are unwilling to consider her, our Tianyu could cooperate with them, both investing some funds. It’s counted as our cost if we lose, mutual benefits if we gain.”

Obviously, Nangong Bing was as stubborn as could be.

“It’s not just about losing and gaining here.” Lin Zifeng thought, as Liu Ruyan, the spendthrift, had so much money at home—why even bother coming to Zhonghai to start a business? And it’s someone else’s company. Wouldn’t it be better for her dad to throw in a few billion to let her gradually learn? That’s certainly a good thing.”

“Does she know you go through all this trouble?”

“You just don’t tell her, that’s all.”

“What if she asks?” Lin Zifeng said.

“She won’t ask you.”

“You’re really confident?”

“She’s too lazy to even talk to you now; you really think she’d ask you?” Nangong Bing said sincerely.

“…”

Alright, Lin Zifeng nodded, looking sullen,

“Don’t interrupt; I haven’t finished speaking.”

“Go ahead, I’m listening.” Lin Zifeng nodded.

“It’s like this: could you help me find a slightly high-tier enterprise, and I’ll personally meet their business leaders to discuss this matter.”

“In her eyes, what counts as high-tier?” Lin Zifeng asked.

“Well…”

Nangong Bing was also a bit muddled herself. If she had to go by Liu Ruyan’s thoughts, chances are only an enterprise with a certain standard would catch her interest.

“Honey, think about it; right now, in Zhonghai, your Tianyu is the biggest. Do you think there’s any enterprise larger than Tianyu?”

Lin Zifeng analyzed it for her.

Since the Dragon Roar Gang’s downfall, the Ye Group quickly disintegrated. In just a few months, Tianyu’s devouring power was incredibly strong, soon swallowing up all the various enterprises. Now finding an enterprise as flashy and powerful as Tianyu is… impossible.

“What should we do then?”

Nangong Bing asked, surprised.

Wholeheartedly focused on strengthening Tianyu, Nangong Bing hadn’t really considered these matters.

“Forget it.”

“I’m talking seriously with you.”

“Do I seem like I’m joking?”

“…”

Nangong Bing’s pretty face abruptly darkened; she’d like to find a place and hide.

“Also, if your good friend truly wants to establish her domain, I’d advise her to start from scratch. With zero experience, do you think she’d have your commercial prowess? Besides, the current competitive pressure is immense; Tianyu monopolizes all business opportunities in Zhonghai. Those small enterprises and groups have already banded together like enemies. They won’t give her this chance. Unless…”

“Unless what?” Nangong Bing was intrigued.

“Unless yet another new corporate group rapidly emerges, that’s when Liu Ruyan would have a chance, and this corporate group would have to be big enough to intrigue Liu Ruyan so much that she’d have to join.”

“How is that possible! Do you think this is child’s play? Who would have such vast resources? Even if a huge enterprise could emerge, they’d have their commercial objectives, right? Besides, creating an enterprise is easy; the real difficulty lies in its operations and management.”

Nangong Bing deeply understood the difficulty in creating an enterprise; it’s far from being as simple and easy as Lin Zifeng articulated, especially on the management side—a true challenge.

Though she herself worked as a CEO—always in the act of “cutting off” personnel—having this title isn’t so easy.

“Hehe, don’t worry. Soon enough, a huge enterprise will gradually come into your view, truly marking the symbol of Zhonghai’s rise!”

Lin Zifeng smiled mysteriously.

“You’re really confident?” Nangong Bing’s pretty eyes blinked. “Hey hey hey, Lin, don’t grin so slyly; do you have some inside scoop?”

“No insider information, just a guess of mine.”

Lin Zifeng was very confident. He believed that anything the Nantian Gang produced would be even more splendid.

“Alright, I’ve said what I needed to, you can head out now.”

Shaking her neck side to side, maybe due to recent overwork, Nangong Bing was noticeably slimmer than before.

“Okay.” Lin Zifeng nodded and turned to leave.

“Oh, wait a minute!”

Nangong Bing suddenly called him back.

“What’s up?”

Lin Zifeng looked at her, puzzled.

“You…just pretend I never said anything.”

Oh, Lin you fool; oh, Lin you fool; why are you so clueless? I even called you, did you think Nangong Bing would have to personally feed it into your mouth?

Would it kill you to be proactive?
