Chapter 655: Chapter 653: The Arrogant Young Master Tang (First Update)

”Miss!”

At that moment, a middle-aged man in a black shirt with a crew cut approached, looking at Tang Shengyi with a bow, his demeanor incredibly respectful.

”Let’s go!”

Tang Shengyi said to Xiao Yifeng, and the two of them got into a black business van.

”Where are we going?”

Xiao Yifeng asked Tang Shengyi as he sat in the van.

”Of course, we’re heading to the Tang Sect, but it’s more than a two-hour drive from Shu Capital.”

Tang Shengyi said indifferently.

Whirring!

Just then, a series of roaring car engine sounds erupted, as four or five luxury cars sped past the van they were in, at extreme speeds.

”Are the people in Shu Capital so bold to street race right in the city!”

Xiao Yifeng looked out the window, his mouth curling in disdain, when suddenly his brow furrowed.

”Not good!”

”What happened?”

Upon hearing Xiao Yifeng speak, a look of confusion flashed in Tang Shengyi’s eyes.

Crash!

At that moment, a dull noise came from several dozen meters ahead of their vehicle, as one of the speeding Lamborghini’s suddenly came to a stop.

A middle-aged man lay four or five meters in front of its hood, his body pouring out a great deal of blood, drenching the ground red as he lay dead, evidently struck by the racing luxury car.

At the side of the road lay a teenage boy, about fifteen or sixteen, who wasn’t too severely injured. Had it not been for his father, the middle-aged man, pushing him away just in time, the teenager might have met his end there too.

”Dad!”

The teenager looked at the middle-aged man lying in a pool of blood, tears sparkling in his eyes as he cried out hoarsely, rushing over to embrace the man tightly, crying out in pain.

At this moment, a crowd of citizens had gathered around, shaking their heads and sighing at the scene.

Then the four or five sports cars stopped, and a group of young men dressed in designer labels alighted from the vehicles, quite obviously wealthy heirs. The door of the Lamborghini that hit the man opened.

A young man with dyed red hair, wearing an upscale white suit and sunglasses, stepped out, exuding an air of unparalleled arrogance.

”Damn it, just my luck to have such bad fortune with a brand-new car!”

The young man stepped out, looking at the situation before him, spitting disdainfully with an expression of misfortune.

”Young Master Tang, your luck really sucks, crashing your new car and it looks like the guy is dead, too!”

Another well-dressed youth spoke up.

”Hmph, what rotten luck!”

The youth walked over to the middle-aged man and, nudging him with his foot, coldly huffed, ”Are you dead or what? You better not be faking it!”

”You killer, you ran over my dad!”

The teenager angrily pointed at the young man and yelled.

”Looks like he really is dead. Dammit, couldn’t have chosen an earlier or later time to die, had to come seeking death right now, this is just the worst luck!”

The young man huffed discontentedly.

Hearing the words of the young man, the surrounding onlookers all looked at him with anger, lamenting how someone could be so callous. Having run over someone, he even dared to speak such words; it was simply unbelievable.

”You murderer, give me back my dad, give me back my dad!”

The teenager, his face wet with tears, grabbed the hem of the young man’s trousers, screaming.

”Get lost, don’t dirty my newly bought pants, or you won’t be able to afford the compensation!”

The youth shouted with dissatisfaction and fiercely kicked out, sending the boy tumbling to the ground.

”What’s wrong with you? You hit and killed someone’s father and you even have the nerve to beat people? Is there no law of the land?”

An elderly man came forward, pointing at the youth and spoke indignantly.

”Law of the land? You’re mentioning the law to me?”

The youth smiled playfully.

”Old man, have you lost your mind? Here in Shu Capital, Young Master Tang’s word is the law. Do you not want to keep your old bones intact? Daring to talk to Young Master Tang like this!”

Several other wealthy young masters laughed contemptuously.

”Young Master Tang!”

Upon hearing this title, the faces of the onlookers changed dramatically, and even the elderly man who spoke up couldn’t help but look alarmed.

”I’m sorry, I’m so sorry, Young Master Tang, my father has offended you!”

A man came running over, bowed quickly in apology to the youth, then quickly dragged the old man away.

”Anybody else want to talk to me about the law of the land?”

The youth looked around with an arrogant smirk, eyeing the crowd through his glasses with disdain.

Immediately, the onlookers took a step back, their eyes showing a hint of fear as they looked at Young Master Tang as if he were a dreadful person.

”Kid, here’s a few thousand for you, consider it a burial fee for your dad!”

The youth returned to his Lamborghini, took out a wad of cash, and threw it in front of the boy before turning to leave.

”You can’t go, you killed my father, you must face legal punishment!”

The boy hastily got up from the ground, extended his hands to block the youth, and spoke with determination.

”Do you wish to die, kid? Young Master here already gave you a fair amount. You’re trying to extort more money, aren’t you?”

The youth’s expression turned cold, a flash of anger crossing his eyes.

”I don’t want your money, but you killed my father, and you must face legal consequences!”

Tears twinkled in the boy’s eyes, his face showing unwavering resolve.

”Biting the hand that feeds you!”

The youth snorted coldly, his hand raised to deliver a slap.

Smack!

However, suddenly, a man appeared in front of the youth, grabbing the hand that was ready to strike. That man was Xiao Yifeng.

At this moment, everyone around, including the wealthy young masters, had a stunned expression on their faces, completely clueless about how Xiao Yifeng appeared so quickly.

”Kid, who are you? You looking to meddle?”

Tang Ming, the youth, looked at Xiao Yifeng with a dismissive expression.

Smack!

Then another crisp slap echoed. Xiao Yifeng let go of his hand and harshly slapped his face.

He sent the man flying to the ground, glasses flying off, along with several teeth from his mouth that Xiao Yifeng had slapped out.

”Are you okay? Don’t be afraid!”

Xiao Yifeng’s gaze swept to the boy, patting his shoulder as he spoke.

”Thank you!”

The boy looked at Xiao Yifeng with a trace of gratitude in his eyes.

And with that slap from Xiao Yifeng, the onlookers, as well as the other wealthy young masters, all wore a look of utter shock.
