Chapter 481: Chapter 479 Ye Yaxin Has an Accident

Thud~

The next second, Ye Tianxiong also spat out a mouthful of fresh blood, his body trembling violently.

”Find someone to look after him. He’s still useful to us, nothing can go wrong!”

Seeing Ye Tianxiong vomit blood, Hu Mingrui’s face changed, and he quickly spoke.

”He’ll die sooner or later!”

A fierce and sinister look flickered in Ye Songming’s eyes.

Meanwhile, in a villa within Haitang Garden, Ye Yaxin was sipping a cup of coffee when suddenly her hand trembled, and the coffee cup fell to the ground, smashing with a crash.

”Sis, what’s wrong with you?”

Ye Yashi hurriedly walked over and asked Ye Yaxin with a puzzled expression.

”I suddenly feel a sense of unease, as if something’s going to happen.”

Ye Yaxin’s eyebrows were tightly furrowed as she spoke in a heavy tone.

”Something’s going to happen? What could happen—you’re not worried about your husband because he left, are you? It’s only been a day, and you’re this worried. It seems like you’re about to fall for him, sis.”

Ye Yashi said teasingly with a smile on her face.

”Don’t talk nonsense!”

Ye Yaxin said gravely and took out her phone to dial the Ye Family Manor.

”Hello, Ya Xin, calling so late, is there something wrong?”

Ye Songming’s voice came from the other end of the line.

”Uncle, how’s Grandpa?”

Ye Yaxin asked directly.

”Grandpa is fine. He returned to his room to rest after dinner. Did something happen?”

Ye Songming asked with a puzzled look on his face.

”It’s nothing, I was just asking. That’s all then!”

Ye Yaxin hung up the phone after speaking.

”Sis, you thought something happened to Grandpa, didn’t you?”

Ye Yashi looked at Ye Yaxin and couldn’t help saying.

”I have this feeling inside; I just feel restless.”

Ye Yaxin’s eyebrows were tightly knitted, and her gaze flickered.

”Grandpa is staying well at the Ye Family, with Uncle and Grandpa Mu Feng keeping him company. How could anything happen? Maybe you’ve been too busy with work and haven’t rested well, which could be causing these illusions. You should go and get a good night’s sleep.”

Ye Yashi said indifferently.

”Hmm.”

Ye Yaxin thought about it and nodded.

Back at the Ye Family, Ye Songming hung up the phone, his eyes twinkling.

”How about it? The girl didn’t get suspicious, did she?”

Hu Mingrui spoke with some worry.

”Rest assured, she won’t suspect anything. But that girl is pretty amazing; calling like that was quite a coincidence.”

Ye Songming said in a deep voice.

”By tomorrow, she’ll be inconsequential. By then, both Ye Corporation and the Ye Family will fall into President Ye’s hands.”

Hu Mingrui looked at Ye Songming with a smile on his face.

Ye Songming’s mouth curled into a cold sneer as he said, ”Director Hu, please rest assured, once I take over Ye Corporation, you will be its second largest shareholder!”

”Thank you for your support, President Ye!”

Hu Mingrui smiled lightly.

Soon, with the ebb and flow of the tide and the lunar cycle giving way to the sun, a new day arrived.

That day, no sooner had Ye Yaxin arrived at Ye Corporation and entered the building than several police cars appeared outside, with Deputy Director Sun Ping and several officers walking in.

Seeing Sun Ping and the officers appear, Ye Yaxin frowned slightly and asked, ”Deputy Director Sun, what brings you here to Ye Corporation with so many people?”

Sun Ping’s mouth revealed a hint of chill as he produced an arrest warrant.

”Ye Yaxin, you are suspected of stealing the company seal and illegally transferring company assets amounting to hundreds of millions, having constituted a major economic crime. Here is your arrest warrant; please come with me. The rest of you, go collect evidence from her office.”

Sun Ping said coldly.

Ye Yaxin’s complexion changed, and with a flicker in her eyes, she said, ”Me, stealing the company seal and transferring assets? How could that be possible? Are you sure there hasn’t been a mistake?”

”Whether there’s been a mistake, we’ll find out back at the police station after an investigation. And do you think we would issue an arrest warrant for the distinguished head of Ye Corporation, part of Tianhai’s Four Great Families, without evidence? Ye Yaxin, let me make it clear to you, you’re almost finished!”

Sun Ping hummed with an icy face, his eyes flashing with a cold light.

”Take her away!”

With a wave of Sun Ping’s hand, a police officer stepped forward to handcuff Ye Yaxin and escorted her outside.

Meanwhile, everyone at Ye Corporation was visibly shocked, clearly not expecting such a thing to happen; the arrest of the president of Ye Corporation was simply unbelievable.

Watching this scene from the shadows, Kuang Shi was about to take action when Cold Edge held him back.

”Don’t be rash, they are police officers, we can’t get into a conflict with them,” he said with an indifferent tone.

”And just let them take the Young Madam away? Before the Young Master left, he made us promise to protect the Young Madam at all costs, not to let a single hair on her head be harmed!” Kuang Shi retorted coldly, his eyes filled with an Evil Qi.

”The police won’t harm the Young Madam without reason. There may be some conspiracy behind this; we need to investigate thoroughly,” Cold Edge replied, his icy gaze flickering peculiarly.

Quickly, the news that Ye Corporation’s president, Ye Yaxin, was apprehended for suspected unauthorized use of the company seal and transfer of massive company assets, being charged with a major economic crime by the city bureau, spread like a hurricane.

In a matter of minutes, the entire Tianhai was abuzz, everyone talking about it, with many finding it hard to believe, unable to imagine that the prominent President of Ye Corporation, the first goddess of Tianhai’s business community, could do such a thing.

However, with the city bureau even producing an arrest warrant, it was clear that they had solid evidence; otherwise, they would not dare to act against the prominent President Ye of Tianhai, Miss of one of the Tianhai’s Four Great Families.

Regardless, the entire Tianhai was shaken by this, and Ye Corporation’s stock market began to fluctuate, with share prices starting to slide.

Inside an interrogation room at the city bureau, Ye Yaxin sat in an interrogation chair, her expression grave, her face showing no signs of worry or fear.

After what felt like an eternity, the door to the interrogation room opened, and Ye Songming walked in.

”Uncle!”

Ye Yaxin called out to Ye Songming, then continued, ”Uncle, what on earth is going on with this? Is someone framing me?”

”Hmph—”

Ye Songming looked at Ye Yaxin, a chilling smile appearing on his lips as he said, ”Ye Yaxin, you didn’t expect this, did you? The esteemed president of Ye Corporation, the renowned business goddess of Tianhai, has ended up like this.”

”Uncle, what are you talking about?”

Ye Yaxin’s brows furrowed upon hearing Ye Songming’s words.

”Can’t you see it, you’re so clever? All of this—Director Hu and I planned everything behind the scenes, just to pull you down from the presidency of Ye Corporation, to ensure you spend the rest of your life in prison,” Ye Songming sneered.

With a swish, Ye Yaxin’s face changed, and her eyes flashed with incredulity as she looked at Ye Songming.

”Uncle, why would you do this?”
