Chapter 480: Chapter 478: Misfortune Befalls the Ye Family

At the same time, Tianhai Ye Family Manor.

Today’s Ye Family Manor was as tranquil as always, yet there was a hint of mystery lurking within this tranquility.

At some point, men in black broke into the Ye Family Manor and decisively took down all of the Ye Family guards.

A man walked into the Ye Family Manor from outside, it was Hu Mingrui. He watched the men in black suddenly appear without any change of expression on his face and headed straight towards the Ye Family’s dining room.

At that moment in the dining room, Ye Tianxiong and his wife Ye Songming, as well as Ye Tianchen, were having dinner, with the butler Mu Feng standing behind Ye Tianxiong.

”What’s happening outside?”

Suddenly, Ye Tianxiong heard a commotion outside and furrowed his brows.

”Master, I will go take a look,”

Mu Feng said, about to walk outside.

”No need to go!”

A cold voice came from Ye Songming’s mouth, and immediately, a handgun appeared in her hand, pointing at Mu Feng.

Ye Tianxiong and Mu Feng’s faces changed drastically at this sight.

”Songming, what are you doing?”

Ye Tianxiong’s face darkened, he demanded authoritatively.

Ye Songming’s wife Du Huijuan and their son Ye Tianchen wore expressions of shock.

”Mr. Chairman, long time no see!”

A hearty voice rang out, Hu Mingrui, along with a group of men in black, burst in, a smile on his face.

”Hu Mingrui, what are you all trying to do?”

Ye Tianxiong saw Hu Mingrui’s arrival, his face darkened, and his brow furrowed.

By his side, Du Huijuan’s face shifted slightly upon seeing Hu Mingrui, her eyes flickered.

”How are things on your end?”

Ye Songming addressed Hu Mingrui.

”Rest assured, now the entire Ye Family is under my control. No news will get out.”

Hu Mingrui spoke confidently.

”Impressive, where did you find this group of people?”

Ye Songming’s face was full of curiosity as he looked at Hu Mingrui.

Hu Mingrui chuckled; these men in black had been brought in by Yang Huaimin, but naturally, he would not disclose this.

”They are all specially hired by me,”

Hu Mingrui said indifferently.

”Mingrui, Songming, what exactly are you two up to?”

Ye Tianxiong stared at the two with a stern gaze, his face looking rather unpleasant.

”Old man, can’t you see? The person your son and I are targeting is you. By tomorrow, your precious granddaughter Ye Yaxin will be stuck in the police station and won’t be able to come out. Then we’ll use you to force Ye Yaxin to hand over the Ye Corporation to President Ye. How about that for a plan?”

Hu Mingrui looked at Ye Tianxiong with a smile.

Immediately, Ye Tianxiong’s face dramatically changed, looking extremely ugly. His gaze swept toward Ye Tianxiong, ”Tianxiong, is what he’s saying true?”

”Absolutely!”

Ye Tianxiong nodded without hesitation.

”Mr. Ye, how could you do this?”

Mu Feng wore a look of displeasure, and Ye Tianxiong, hearing Ye Songming’s response, trembled, his eyes revealing a touch of desolation.

”Can you tell me why you did this, have I ever treated you badly?”

Ye Tianxiong’s face, aged with time, looked solemnly at Ye Songming.

”You’ve never treated me well; you killed my parents and usurped the Ye Corporation, and that’s the greatest wrong you did to me!”

Ye Songming shouted angrily, his eyes fierce.

Upon hearing Ye Songming’s words, everyone in the restaurant was shocked. Du Huijuan, Ye Tianchen, and Hu Mingrui all looked at Ye Songming with expressions of utter astonishment, not expecting to hear such explosive news.

Ye Tianxiong’s body shook violently, and he looked incredulously at Ye Songming, ”You knew?”

”That’s right, I’ve known for a long time. My father helped you establish the Ye Corporation and supported its growth. But because you were worried he would contest the Corporation with you, you ruthlessly killed my parents.”

Ye Songming said with a venomous expression.

”You’re mistaken. Your parents’ death was a complete accident. I considered your father a brother; how could I have killed him? After your parents’ accident, I took you home, and treated you like my own son,” Ye Tianxiong sighed as he spoke.

”Hmph, no need to lie to me. My parents were definitely killed by you. For all the fine words of treating me like your own son, you still chose to hand the Ye Corporation over to Ye Yaxin, that little blonde girl, rather than letting me manage it.”

”Aren’t you just worried that I would snatch away the Corporation? This time, the Ye Corporation will definitely be mine. I will take back everything I’ve lost.”

Ye Songming said coldly, with a chilling gleam in his eyes.

”Ah...”

Ye Tianxiong heaved a deep sigh and glanced at Ye Songming with eyes flickering, ”Ya Xin’s parents’ car accident, was it related to you?”

”Old man, you’re indeed clever to think of that. Yes, I killed the two of them. I thought that by killing them, I could take control of the Ye Corporation.”

”Yet you handed it over to that blonde girl, Ye Yaxin. You’re really quite the schemer. But what does it matter now? Soon the Corporation will still be in my hands, and your precious granddaughter can only spend the rest of her life in prison!”

Ye Songming said excitedly.

”Dad, is he really not my grandfather?”

At that moment, Ye Tianchen looked at Ye Tianxiong with disbelief in his eyes.

”Yes, he’s not your grandfather, but rather the murderer who killed your biological grandparents. However, he will soon receive the retribution he deserves, and you will become the rightful heir to the Ye Corporation, rising above others!”

Ye Songming spoke with a stern voice.

Hearing Ye Songming’s words, Hu Mingrui revealed a strange expression and shook his head gently, knowing that the Ye Corporation could only end up in the hands of the Yang Family, beyond anyone else’s reach.

”Fate plays tricks on us...”

Upon hearing the words Ye Songming had spoken, Ye Tianxiong’s body trembled, and he suddenly seemed a decade older, coughing violently.

”Sir, are you alright?”

Mu Feng hurried to Ye Tianxiong’s side, steadying him.

”Ye Songming, after being raised by the old master for decades, this is how you repay him. Are you even human?”

Mu looked angrily at Ye Songming.

Bang!

A gunshot suddenly rang out and Ye Songming raised his gun and pulled the trigger. A bullet pierced through Mu Feng’s head and he fell to the ground, his eyes wide open.

With a thud, Mu Feng’s body toppled before Ye Tianxiong.

”Mu Feng!”

Ye Tianxiong knelt on the ground, holding Mu Feng’s body, tears streaming down his face, his eyes filled with sorrow.

Mu Feng had been with him for decades, his closest old friend, and now he lay dead because of him. Ye Tianxiong naturally felt an immense pain in his heart.
