Chapter 392: Chapter 392: Serves You Right

”Chang Teng, this is my business, there’s no need for you to interfere!”

Han Zixuan’s face was icy, her gaze coldly fixed on Chang Teng.

”Zi Xuan, I’m doing this for your own good. This guy might have some ability, but in my opinion, he’s simply subpar. Becoming his disciple would only lead you astray,” Chang Teng said.

”After all, the depth and breadth of Chinese medicine in China, especially acupuncture skills, can only be taught by true masters of traditional medicine. Like me, for example, this guy looks like he’s just graduated from medical school, no matter how good his acupuncture is, how good could it possibly be!”

Chang Teng said this with a face full of mockery and disdain.

However, Chang Teng had not personally witnessed Xiao Yifeng’s acupuncture skills on the previous two occasions. If he had, he definitely wouldn’t be speaking so dismissively.

It was precisely because Han Zixuan knew how formidable Xiao Yifeng’s acupuncture was that she insisted on taking him as her master.

”Are you finished?”

Listening to Chang Teng’s nonsense, Xiao Yifeng casually cleaned out his ears with his hand.

”What do you mean by that, kid?” Chang Teng stared intently at Xiao Yifeng.

”Annoying!” Xiao Yifeng snorted coldly, his eyes sweeping over Chang Teng with a chill.

”What did you say?” Chang Teng’s face flushed with anger as he glared at Xiao Yifeng.

”Some people just love to show off. You’ve said so much, just trying to prove that your master’s acupuncture skills are incredible, is that it?” Xiao Yifeng looked at the boastful figure in front of him and humphed.

”Of course, my master is a grandmaster of the Chinese medicine community in China, the patriarch of the number one medical family in China. Wherever he appears, he is a VIP guest among the major clans. Do you think that’s impressive or not?”

”But talking to someone like you is pointless. I warn you, you better stay away from Zi Xuan in the future. She’s naive and could easily be deceived by you. I...”

Chang Teng went on with his incessant speech, looking at Xiao Yifeng. However, before he could finish, Xiao Yifeng pulled out a silver needle and swiftly waved it.

The silver needle pierced directly into Chang Teng’s chest. Instantly, his body stiffened, his mouth gaping wide open, but unable to utter a single word.

”Now, at last, it’s quiet!”

Xiao Yifeng snorted contemptuously.

”What has he done...”

Han Zixuan looked almost bewilderedly at Xiao Yifeng.

”It’s nothing. I simply pricked an acupoint to render him immobile and mute.”

”Then, can you remove it? Him being like this...”

Han Zixuan’s eyes flickered.

”I’ll remove the silver needle when I’m in a good mood. Of course, someone else could also do it, but whether he lives or dies after that, I can’t guarantee.”

”Alright, Miss Han, I need to get to work now. Bye!”

Xiao Yifeng gave Han Zixuan a slight smile before walking into the Ye Corporation.

Han Zixuan’s gaze turned toward Chang Teng. At this moment, Chang Teng’s only moving parts were his rolling eyeballs, filled with a look of helplessness and pain.

”Serves him right!”

Han Zixuan’s face was icy as she coldly spat out two words.

Twenty minutes later, in a ward at Tianhai City People’s Hospital, Chang Teng lay stiffly on the bed, his body still in the posture from before, lips parted, with the silver needle Xiao Yifeng inserted stuck in his chest.

At that moment, Chang Teng’s grandfather, Chang Qingshan, along with Han Jianbin and a group of professors from the Tianhai Traditional Chinese Medicine Association, all arrived in the room.

”My dear grandchild!”

Seeing Chang Teng, Chang Qingshan rushed over. Observing his grandson’s current state, he anxiously asked, ”What’s happened to you? Why is there a silver needle in your chest?”

As Chang Qingshan was about to remove the silver needle from Chang Teng’s body, he was stopped by Han Zixuan, who was standing nearby.

”We can’t remove it; if we do, he might just lose his life!”

Han Zixuan said in a deep voice.

”Zixuan, what exactly is going on here?”

Han Jianbin’s gaze turned to Han Zixuan, and Chang Qingshan also looked at her with an urgent expression.

Han Zixuan recounted the events that had happened earlier.

”How could Xiao Yifeng do something like this, it’s utterly outrageous!”

Chang Qingshan’s face filled with rage, his body trembling with anger.

”If it wasn’t for Chang Teng mocking and provoking him on his own, would he have ended up like this? All of this can only be said to be his own fault!”

Han Zixuan said with a cold expression.

”You...”

Anger flashed through Chang Qingshan’s eyes as he stared at Han Zixuan.

”Enough, Zixuan, don’t talk nonsense.”

”Qingshan, don’t get angry. Zixuan is young; she doesn’t understand these matters.”

Han Jianbin quickly interjected.

”I, Chang Qingshan, will certainly settle this account with that kid, even if he is Old Master Ye’s grandson-in-law,” Chang Qingshan snorted with a cold look in his eyes.

”Enough, the most important thing right now is Chang Teng. Let’s get him back to normal first.”

Han Jianbin walked to the bedside and looked at Chang Teng.

”He seems to have been immobilized by this silver needle blocking a certain acupoint in his body, preventing him from moving at all. Xiao Yifeng’s acupuncture skills are indeed extraordinary,” Han Jianbin remarked with a sigh.

”Don’t talk so much; since this is all because of this silver needle, then let’s just pull it out!”

Chang Qingshan stated directly.

”He said that only he can remove this silver needle and that if someone else does it, Chang Teng could be in danger of losing his life,” Han Zixuan reiterated.

”Humph, it’s just a silver needle. If he can remove it, why can’t someone else do the same? There’s life-threatening danger, what nonsense! He is simply making a fool of Teng,”

Chang Qingshan said with disbelief, reaching out to pull out the needle, only to be stopped by Han Jianbin.

”Qingshan, don’t be rash. Since Brother Xiao said so, we can’t just remove the silver needle recklessly.”

”Chairman, do you even believe that kid’s nonsense?”

Chang Qingshan said, looking at Han Jianbin with an unsightly expression.

”Qingshan, as a practitioner of Chinese medicine, you should know that the acupoints on the human body are extremely complicated entities, each with significant effects on the body, even to the extent of causing instant death.”

”Although this silver needle is merely inserted in Chang Teng’s body, its removal could possibly stimulate his acupoints and cause other major problems.”

”At that point, it really could endanger Chang Teng’s life, and we absolutely cannot act rashly. If something goes wrong, then Chang Teng’s life would truly be over,”

Han Jianbin said solemnly, looking at Chang Qingshan.

After listening to Han Jianbin’s words, Chang Qingshan’s eyes flickered, and after a moment of contemplation, he said:

”So, what should we do now? Just let Teng suffer like this? Or wait until that kid feels like coming over to remove the needle? That’s absolutely unacceptable!”

”How about this, Qingshan, you go visit him yourself and apologize on behalf of Chang Teng. Perhaps then he might come and remove the silver needle for Chang Teng,”

Han Jianbin suggested, looking at Chang Qingshan.

”No, absolutely not!”

Chang Qingshan immediately shook his head and said with a grave expression, ”This kid has treated my grandson this way, and I should go apologize to him? Where would that leave the face of my Chang family? We absolutely cannot do this!”
