Daddy Always Gets Jealous

Chapter 204: 204 A Delightful Conversation (2)_1

Che Huan Yan Ran smiled, ”Mr. Huo, how do you know? I feel that we have a delightful conversation.”

”How delightful is ’delightful’?” Huo Jinnan tossed his cigarette, and his slender fingers lightly pinched her cheekbone, lifting it toward his direction.

Che Huan, ”...”

Huo Jinnan’s thin lips curled slightly, ”Why aren’t you calling me ’Brother Huo’ anymore?”

Thinking of that ’Brother Huo’, Che Huan’s face turned red with embarrassment, if it had not been for Wen Nuan calling him that, she wouldn’t have been forced to greet him in such a way!

The two of them were stuck in this position, he wouldn’t let go, and she was helpless.

After a while, the cellphone rang.

Huo Jinnan stared at Che Huan for a bit, then let go of her and answered the call.

Che Huan glanced at him and quickly left the bathroom.

Huo Jinnan followed her out.

In the corridor, they encountered many people who all paid them considerable attention.

Che Huan felt her face blushing intensely, she certainly couldn’t explain to every stranger that she had just entered the wrong restroom, could she?

Let the misunderstanding be, then! Let them think what they want, after all, she didn’t know them!

She was walking too fast when suddenly a dark shadow loomed before her.

The Regiment Commander was following Huo Bei when he saw Che Huan from a distance and joyfully dashed toward her, his massive body pouncing onto Che Huan.

Feeling the furry mass, Che Huan turned pale with fear, and before she could react, she was knocked backward.

Huo Jinnan, still on the phone, stretched out a hand to catch Che Huan’s waist and held her tight, ”All right, that’s settled.”

After hanging up, he looked down at the woman in his arms.

Che Huan, staring blankly at the Regiment Commander for a while, finally came to her senses and felt the large hand on her waist. Just as she was about to straighten up, she winced and let out a faint ”ow.”

Huo Jinnan looked down and noticed her long hair had somehow caught onto the button of his suit sleeve, tangled tightly.

Che Huan stood still, not daring to move.

Huo Jinnan swept a glance at her but remained silent.

Che Huan, her back to him and unaware of where her hair was caught, said, ”Mr. Huo.”

Huo Jinnan took a drag on his cigarette, ”Do it yourself.”

Che Huan turned slightly and saw her hair wound around his cufflink. She bent over and tried to gently pull it free, but it wouldn’t budge.

How could it be so tightly tangled?

Upon closer inspection, it seemed her hair had knotted!

After trying to untangle it for a while, not only was she unable to loosen it, but the knot seemed to tighten even further. It seemed the only solutions were to cut her hair or his suit button!

To cut her hair was impossible; such a clump would hurt her terribly!

To cut his suit button was also not likely, not to mention the lack of scissors, but even if there were, how could he let her off so easily?

Che Huan stood there, staring blankly at the spot where her hair was entangled with the cufflink, unsure what to do.

Huo Jinnan waited for a bit, then frowned slightly, ”Stand still, don’t move.”

Che Huan didn’t respond, but as she turned her head, she saw the innocently looking Regiment Commander next to her and felt an itchy anger; it was always the Regiment Commander, she couldn’t tell if it was genuinely innocent or intentional!
