Heir of Synthesis: The World Mage

After passing through the entrance gate, an Inner Elder approached the large group of 27,000 people. At that same moment, Nise came running toward them.

Priam turned toward the young woman without showing any surprise.

”I... I...” Nise stopped in front of him, panting and swallowing hard as she searched for the right words.

Priam looked at Dandara. She sighed and took a few steps toward Nise, taking her hand and bringing her closer.

”Come here; you have talent. One day, you’ll be my second-in-command.”

Upon hearing this, Nise’s eyes widened. Feeling Dandara’s warm gaze and reassuring grip, along with Priam’s calm expression, she trembled from head to toe and quickly nodded.

”Thank you so much...”

Priam let out a faint snort. ”No one has the right to choose for you which path you should follow in life. Having the courage to break free from your family’s chains is the hardest part, but you have the will you need.”

Nise nodded, clenching her fists tightly. She had made her decision, and she wouldn’t turn back, not even if she were dead.

Priam turned his attention back to the Elder in front of him.

”Where can I register my faction?”

The Elder nodded. ”I’ll take care of it quickly.”

Without wasting any time, the Elder took out a tablet and requested the emblem of each member. Within minutes, everyone had been properly registered.

”What is the name of the faction?” the Elder asked, ready to finalize the procedure.

Priam narrowed his eyes. He had never stopped to think about it. He quickly turned toward Dandara.

”Why not Ylisse Alliance? That way, future members can take over the faction and have a safe home within the sect.”

Priam looked confused. ”New members?”

Dandara nodded. ”Did you forget about my father and Lady Orlaith? They seemed pretty into each other before, and I could barely see my father because they were always together and isolating themselves. Besides...”

She stopped halfway through the sentence, choosing not to finish.

Priam nodded, wondering what she had meant by the end of her sentence. The Elder wrote down all the information and completed the registration.

”Sir, several members of my faction and I have families outside. When can we bring them here?” Priam asked without hesitation.

The Elder calmly nodded. ”The bureaucracy takes time. Everyone’s registration will be completed in seven days. After that period, everyone will be granted permission to bring their family members here, so they can live on one of the free inner planets.”

Priam, Dandara, and all the disciples who had previously been considered ordinary within the outer sect were ecstatic.

The Elder led the crowd to a teleportation inscription. Thus, the entire Ylisse Alliance was settled in an isolated and colossal region—a territory the size of an entire continent, surrounded by crystal-clear rivers and lush forests.

There were thousands of residential buildings scattered around the complex, with a large teleportation inscription at the center, available for anyone to use freely.

The Elder informed them that the law disciples would arrive soon to explain all the rules in detail, and then he left.

As soon as they were alone, Priam looked at Dandara. She nodded and stepped forward to announce to everyone:

”All 25,000 newcomers, along with the 90 who came from the sect’s outer branches, will from now on be the faction’s common soldiers. As for the little over 2,000 who came from our original branch, they will be known as Elite Soldiers.”

Dandara spoke slowly, carefully observing the reactions of the core disciples.

”Everyone will train together. However, the Elite Soldiers will be responsible for supervising and teaching the newcomers. For now, common soldiers, look for buildings away from the center and simply wait until you’re summoned.”

As soon as she finished speaking...

Nise and Safira didn’t hesitate for even a microsecond. They bowed, then turned around and left the central plaza. Now, they were merely ordinary members of that faction—not the outstanding prodigies of their Sacred Families anymore.

They accepted this new reality willingly. After all, they had already seen the enormous difference when compared to Priam’s true soldiers.

The other 25,000 took a little longer to react, but no one there felt slighted. In fact, they were ecstatic just to be in that place.

40,000 core disciples survived and fought in the Celestial Event. But only 25,000 had the courage to abandon the factions they had already been connected to and come try to join Priam. Those who came were the ones absolutely certain that this decision would change their destinies forever. They were completely willing to start from the bottom.

Dandara nodded in satisfaction. If even a single person there showed dissatisfaction, she would personally make sure to kick them out immediately.

Once the crowd dispersed and only the little over 2,000 members remained in the center, Priam let out a snort and took out a gigantic Jade Slip.

He turned toward Dandara and placed the item in her hands.

”Gather everyone and study the hundreds of Paragon Arts contained here together. I’m sure each of you will find at least one technique compatible with you. Just understand the basics and decide which one to study. However, no one is allowed to actually attempt to execute them... or... you all know very well what will happen.”

Everyone around them swallowed hard, completely shocked.

Paragon Arts? Hundreds of them?

They could barely believe what they were hearing. Paragon Arts were insanely rare treasures—something only the greatest and most legendary sects in the entire world possessed, and even then, only in small quantities.

Besides... if they were going to learn one of these arts, it meant that eventually they would have to face a punishment coming directly from the laws of the world. A cold sweat ran down the spine of every person present.

Dandara smiled excitedly as she held the treasure in her hands. She, along with the other eight who had visited the world fragments as a reward, had also received Paragon Arts and some peculiar ores.

Surprisingly, the Paragon Arts they had obtained were insanely compatible with their abilities. Priam’s divine luck in choosing the location for them had truly paid off.

And now, the entire army would receive a similar benefit.

”Go. Study everything carefully and make your choices,” Priam said lightly before turning around.

”YES!” everyone roared solemnly.

At the center of the area stood a building far larger than any other structure. It was a residence reserved exclusively for the leader, containing a single main room along with several other areas for individual training.

But Priam wouldn’t live there alone.

He entered together with Dandara. She ran to the main bedroom and put away her belongings. At this point, the two of them lived and did practically everything together, like a couple of fiancés about to get married.

After organizing her things, Dandara jumped into Priam’s arms, delighted to be in that place. Shortly afterward, after claiming his lips for a few minutes with a wide smile on her face, she said goodbye and left to get to work and carry out the orders she had received.

Finally alone, Priam had some time to organize his own priorities.

As he sat down on the bed, he focused his thoughts on the system.

[Total: 77,600 Germination Points]

Now he had a good amount to spend. Ever since he reached the Philosopher Sage realm, he hadn’t even had the chance to calmly examine the new options that had appeared after his breakthrough.

[7 Purchasable Skills:]

[20,000 GP] [Transcendental Concealment] [NEW]

’Transcendental Concealment?! This has to be the superior version of Divine Concealment!’

Priam’s eyes lit up as he read the two new options.

’This Karmic Connection Search... maybe it works as a way to search for things connected to me and my Main Quest? Maybe even Special Quests?’

Priam felt a wave of curiosity and excitement toward this second skill. Besides those two, Power Rune Storage allowed him to store a much larger number of runes simultaneously. He had already decided to expand this capacity, and the ability had appeared at the perfect time.

[9 Transcendental Knowledge Available:]

[30,000 GP] [Combat Mastery] [Level: Transcendental]

Upon seeing the knowledge options, his excitement only grew, as he had now reached the Transcendental level. With such wisdom, he would certainly shock gods and demons alike, becoming capable of extraordinary feats.

However... after thinking it over for a few moments, he chose not to acquire any of them for the time being. His points were limited, and buying knowledge of this caliber without having the Training Amplifier alongside it wouldn’t be of much benefit.

In the short term, he would gain much more by acquiring other things. Besides... he instinctively felt that the Purchasable Skills available were far too precious to ignore.

[Accept?] [Yes / No]

Priam made his decision and confirmed the transaction. He chose the Medium-level classes not only because they would drastically increase the power of the Ylisse Alliance, but also because they would teach him more about those paths himself.

He had hundreds of Paragon Arts at his disposal; possessing knowledge of other classes would help him understand and choose new techniques. Furthermore, mastering the use of the powers of every class would indirectly increase his own combat potential.

After the confirmation, Priam felt a flood of knowledge being assimilated into his mind.

His first reaction was to analyze the three new skills he had acquired.

As soon as he read the introduction, Priam’s heart sped up. He had absolutely nailed his choices.
