Heir of Synthesis: The World Mage

Priam asked bluntly. ”What do you want?”

”This Life Lightning is extremely valuable to us,” the silver dragon replied. ”We want everything you have to nourish the last remnants of our world’s Will of Heaven. If you hand it over willingly... we’ll give you all the Supreme Techniques we have preserved. In our ancient world, they were divine inheritances passed down through generations by the Dragon clans. There are all kinds of them, using every possible element and energy.”

Priam’s eyes flashed for a moment. Quickly calculating his options, he asked, ”And what about the agreement?”

The dragon snorted softly. ”If you truly want that... As soon as the Will of Heaven recovers at least the minimum of its strength, you’ll be able to negotiate directly with it. The essential thing is to nourish it first. I guarantee the divine inheritances; the agreement will be something between the two of you.”

The proposal made Priam even more interested. He turned toward the supreme core and took a deep breath.

Sensing the auras of those dragon-shaped entities, he realized there was no malice or intention to deceive him. He could trust them.

”Just send everything into that place, right?”

The Silver Dragon firmly nodded.

Without hesitating for even a second, Priam extended his hand, mobilizing all the energy accumulated within his body at once.

**BUZZZ!**

The entire space trembled, completely flooded by a pulsing white light. The dragons’ eyes widened in shock—they had never imagined Priam was storing such a massive amount of this energy. It was at least a hundred times more than they had expected.

Without wasting any time, Priam guided the torrent of Life Lightning, firing it straight toward the core hidden deep within the electrical ’waters.’

Several seconds passed before the light finally faded, being completely sucked inside.

”...”

Priam patiently waited in the same spot.

*Thump-thump! Thump-thump!*

Suddenly, a deep sound echoed throughout the Domain—it sounded like a rhythmic, powerful, resonant heartbeat.

A serene bluish light lit up at the center of the core.

Then...

”You...” an extremely weak and distant voice sounded, directed straight at Priam. ’The Pillar of a world...’

Since this wasn’t the first time he had heard those words, Priam nodded and answered directly:

”Indeed, I’m not from this world, and I carry that with me. You know about the situation with the Sovereigns and the Special World that repelled them, right? I came from that place.”

”... Yes...”, the voice confirmed in a fragile murmur.

All around them, every electrical dragon froze. Each of their gazes instantly changed as they looked at Priam. Despite being nothing more than manifestations of a will, they had existed long enough to understand the weight of those words.

Priam took a deep breath and continued, ”Good, that saves us some time. My goal is to defeat the Sovereigns, but I’m still far too weak... There was someone in the same situation as me before, and that person ended up failing. I can’t make the same mistake. I need to become something infinitely greater, using 100% of everything I find.”

”I understand...”

As soon as the voice fell silent...

”!”

All the electrical dragons felt a drastic change spread throughout that world fragment.

The Silver Dragon exclaimed in surprise. ”Will of Heaven! You’re going to...?”

”Yes... Currently, we have less than a thousand years of existence left. We are all... merely fragments of a forgotten past... neither I nor you truly exist,” the voice echoed, slow and solemn.

As it spoke, the body of each dragon became even more ethereal and translucent.

”I understand.” The Silver Dragon let out a heavy sigh and looked Priam directly in the eyes.

”Boy... In the past, I led the final battle in a desperate attempt to protect my world. I failed and died, and everything was lost. But... if you really can, one day, destroy those bastards...”

Priam silently nodded. He had learned of this main mission through another Will of Heaven.

Priam had no idea why he had been sent to that world. From the very beginning, his only goal had been to live life to the fullest. However, the stronger he became, the more a premonitory sense of danger—and a burning desire to evolve even further—burned in his chest.

At this point, he couldn’t even imagine himself slowing down just to settle for what he had and accept the present. His focus was absolute: reach the top. Only up there would he be able to live in complete freedom and protect what he desired.

That entire space began to glow.

At an accelerated pace, the forms of the dragons and everything that made up that world fragment began to dissolve, transforming into pure light.

At that moment, the space in front of Priam distorted, and a large Jade Slip appeared, floating before him.

”As I promised, here are the Divine Techniques of my world,” the Silver Dragon’s voice echoed.

”There are 403 arts in total, left behind by each of my greatest soldiers who died in battle. I led the Draconic Celestial Army...

these are our Divine Draconic Techniques...

Good luck...”

The voice gradually weakened until the final words sounded like a distant sigh on the verge of fading away.

This will that had endured for so long, along with all the others, finally vanished forever.

Priam smiled and stored it away without hesitation.

Looking around, he saw the entire world fragment rapidly dissolving. Everything that existed transformed into pure energy, funneling toward a single distant point.

He immediately understood: the remnants of the Will of Heaven had absorbed all the matter within the Domain to manifest its true power one last time.

A few minutes later, Priam found himself floating in an absolute, dark void.

Nothing remained except him and, right in front of him, a trembling bluish flame—similar to a Wisp from Earth’s legends.

The spiritual fire was no more than a few centimeters in size, emanating a visibly weakened aura.

The manifestation of the Will of Heaven slowly approached, stopping just a few steps from his face.

”Thank you for coming. I don’t have much time left, nor do I have much to offer you.”

Priam respectfully nodded. ”The Heart of Life and Destruction... did it come from your world?”

”Yes, it belonged to the laws of my world. In certain worlds, the laws themselves automatically generate artifacts tasked with shaping reality and carrying out their fundamental functions. In my world, this small object was responsible for orchestrating the Tribulations and ensuring the laws were carried out.”

Priam’s eyes flashed. That meant that if he could obtain it...

Sensing the ambition in his gaze, the voice immediately replied, ”Unfortunately, to make it function, you need to have the essence of the world you currently reside in, along with a process of perfect incubation under absolute control and dominion—something only a Will of Heaven possesses. You brought me some of that essence from your world, infused within the Life Lightning...”

”Wait... Absolute control?” Priam’s eyes widened.

Wasn’t that exactly what the System granted him?

At the same time, he remembered the detail, ’You brought me some of it.’ That meant he could obtain the tribulations like before.

Curious and euphoric, Priam hurriedly asked, ”Can you teach me how to perform this incubation? I already have a method for it. Besides, attracting a Heavenly Punishment won’t be a problem.”

”I can teach you. But... even if you possess both requirements, it will still be impossible.”

The words fell like a bucket of ice water.

He took a deep breath and asked, ”What’s missing?”

The Will of Heaven answered without delay, ”For the incubation and use of the artifact, you need an isolated and perfect space—a place with absolutely no contact with the outside world or the slightest external energy interference, where you still have absolute control over everything within it. Creating such an environment is only possible for someone who has mastered the power of supreme space and is still above the laws of the world. An Immortal. At your current level...”

Suddenly, Priam’s disappointed expression transformed into a radiant smile.

”PERFECT! Fuck, my luck really is divine today!”
