The Darling of Heaven Owns a Rip-off Shop

When Tianmiao and Dong Xiao arrived in this world, they immediately felt the spiritual energy rapidly dissipating.

”Boss, why is it like this?” Dong Xiao was very puzzled.

”I’ve told you many times, call me Boss, not Master.” Tianmiao corrected again.

”Yes, Boss.” Dong Xiao complied.

”As I once told you, in each world, energy follows a fixed cycle. When spiritual objects die and dissipate, they return to this world to continue the cycle. But the balance in this world has been broken, the energy can no longer cycle, so this Great World is about to degrade into a Middle World. Meanwhile, one Middle World is about to ascend to a Great World.” Tianmiao explained slowly, ”But from the perspective of Heavenly Dao, this is still a conservation of energy process. To the Heavenly Dao, all worlds and all energy follow a process of conservation.”

Dong Xiao understood, but still had one question: ”What broke the conservation in this world then?”

”That’s the reason we are here to investigate. After the investigation, you’ll write the report.” Tianmiao looked into the distance and sighed softly, ”Although from the Heavenly Dao’s view, all worlds are balanced, every time I see a world’s decline, it doesn’t feel good. It signifies the collapse of spiritual energy and the complete disappearance of many spiritual objects.”

Dong Xiao fell silent. He could empathize, he could understand.

In the last world, he had personally witnessed a Qilin dissipate into the universe. That feeling of melancholy, sadness, and oppression lingered for a long time.

”Go and see if there are any Divine Beasts left.” Tianmiao instructed.

”Yes.” Dong Xiao obediently responded, stepping back a few paces, then transformed into his true form, soared into the sky, flapped his wings, and disappeared into the clouds.

Tianmiao also flew into the air, slowly inspecting ahead.

Suddenly, Tianmiao turned her head, looking in one direction.

Over there was a strong spiritual power, not in harmony with this world where spiritual energy was rapidly collapsing.

What could it be?

Tianmiao turned and flew in that direction. As she got closer, a vast ocean and golden beach appeared ahead.

She looked down, searching for the source of the spiritual power, and then saw a scene that melted her heart.

A chubby little dragon girl was digging around on the golden sand, her bottom stuck out. The little dragon girl must have just recently transformed and couldn’t fully take on a human form, still having a dragon tail on her behind. She swayed her dragon tail, sweeping back and forth across the golden sand. She seemed to be the size of a human child around four or five years old.

Tianmiao landed on the beach, slowly walking toward the little dragon girl.

The strong spiritual power was emanating from this little dragon girl.

As she got closer, the little dragon girl finally noticed Tianmiao approaching. She looked up, her big eyes gazing at Tianmiao, first with curiosity, then with happiness.

Tianmiao also took the time to observe the little dragon girl in front of her. This little one was indeed chubby, so plump and cute that it made one want to pinch her.

The chubby little dragon girl held a shell in one pudgy hand and a wriggling octopus in the other, her large eyes happily looking at Tianmiao, sweetly asking, ”Who are you? Do you want to play with me? If you play with me, I’ll give you both of these.” Upon finishing, she handed the shell and octopus to Tianmiao.

”What’s your name?” Tianmiao crouched down, accepted the shell from the little dragon girl, and asked with a smile.
