MMORPG: Rise of the Primordial Godsmith

Chapter 1251  The Final Touches

”This is…”

”Wow…”

Ttang! Ttang! Ttang!

As this was the young manʼs final lesson to him, Valyr decided to forge an item at a pace that was easier for Juno to follow, even going so far as to forgo the usage of his translucent arms during the forging process.

Because of that, it was as if the veil shrouding the young manʼs methods from Juno had finally been removed, allowing him to view each and every step of his forging process with great clarity.

From the materials he selected for the equipment, to the hammering techniques he used to get the materials to his desired shape, the man committed all of them to memory, not even taking his eyes off Valyrʼs movements for even a second in fear of missing even a single detail.

Ttang! Ttang! Ttang!

Surprisingly, as Valyr continued to forge an item for Juno, the latterʼs action of committing the young manʼs movements to memory gradually became a part of his subconscious.

With that, he began to peer beyond the movements Valyr did on the surface, seemingly tapping into a higher realm of blacksmithing at that very moment.

Then again, it was not as if only Juno was undergoing a bout of sudden enlightenment.

Ttang! Ttang! Ttang!

Although his body continued to move according to the forging process heʼd completed thousands of times already, Valyr also began to peer beyond his monotonous movements unknowingly, feeling as if he was taking a glimpse into the origins of blacksmithing.

Or better yet, its true essence.

Ttang! Ttang! Ttang!

With the fact that he decided to forgo using his translucent arms unlike before, almost all of Valyrʼs attention was wholly undivided, allowing him to make the most of the opportunity heʼd given himself as he comprehended more and more about the art of blacksmithing.

Because of that, by the time he finished forging the item, the young man felt as if his connection with the world had become one level stronger, causing him to temporarily feel like he was filled to the brim with boundless energy.

Ding!

[In the world of blacksmithing, many blacksmiths seek greater complexity in their techniques in order to achieve greater results.]

[However, only those who are able to return complexity into simplicity have the ability to allow their crafts to truly transcend beyond realms, their feats spreading across time and space.]

[Your understanding of the concept of blacksmithing has deepened and crystallized even further, reaching a culmination point. The world has taken notice of this, allowing you to tap into a greater portion of its nigh-infinite power.]

[Your Intent of Forging has ascended to 5th Grade.]

[Your Intent of the Forgerʼs Flames has ascended to 5th Grade.]

ʼ…Who knew Iʼd end up improving two of my Intents to the 5th Grade?ʼ Taking a bit of time to consolidate his gains and adjust to the newfound strength coursing throughout his body, it was only after a few minutes had passed did Valyr open his eyes, grinning the very moment he took a look at his notification screen.

ʼThe Intent of Forging, as well as the Intent of the Forgerʼs Flames.ʼ The young man inwardly let out a chuckle. ʼStill got a long way to go before they reach the level of Forces, but at least itʼs a step in the right direction.ʼ

ʼI wonder how Juno is doing?ʼ asked Valyr to himself not long after, only to be greeted by the sight of the man with his closed eyes the moment he turned his head to look at him.

Getting the feeling that Juno was experiencing something similar to what he went through just now, Valyr decided not to disturb the man, instead shifting his attention back to the item he finished crafting in the midst of his own enlightenment.

”Quite the fine forging hammer,” murmured the young man as he brought up its description in front of him. ”If I didnʼt have the Hammer of Beginnings, Iʼd probably keep it for myself.”

”But since this is probably the last time Iʼd be able to teach him…” Glancing at Juno for a bit more, the young man eventually took out a piece of parchment from his spatial bracelet before writing down a lengthy paragraph on it.

Faintly nodding in contentment by the time he was done, Valyr then went ahead and changed his appearance with [Thousand Polymorph] before silently making his way out of the shop.

ʼAlthough I may not be able to teach you anything else for now…ʼ

ʼI hope all youʼve learned will make you become a renowned blacksmith in the future, Juno.ʼ

…

”Mmh…”

”…Mn?”

Feeling like many hours had passed ever since he felt his eyes close, Juno took a while to rouse his consciousness, his thoughts still going over the various new insights he had about the art of blacksmithing.

”…Eh?” Because of that, by the time he was able to focus on his surroundings once more, the man was immediately left at a loss for words, noticing that Valyr was nowhere to be seen.

”Where did he go?”

Seeing that the young man had left the shop without a trace, Juno could not help but let out a slight sigh. ”…And here I thought I could talk to him about the insights I had on blacksmithing.” Scratching the back of his head at what he thought was a missed opportunity, the man thought about looking for his whereabouts, only to take notice of the forging hammer Valyr made on the anvil, as well as the piece of parchment stuck underneath it.

”Why did he leave these here?” asked the man to himself in a slight murmur, his mind coming up with various ideas that connected the items to Valyrʼs sudden disappearance.

Though, once he took a look at the parchment the young man left him, he decided not to think about those questions any further, instead focusing his attention on the words Valyr had written down.

”If youʼre reading this, Juno… then that means I have already left the village.”

”With that, Iʼve decided to give the ownership over the Forge of Beginnings to you.”

…

”Well, that was easier than I thought.”

Appearing at the edges of a large forest a few dozen kilometers away from Algerie Kingdom, Valyr swiftly made his way to one of its clearings before letting out a sigh of relief.

”[Basic Spellcasting]… [Basic Incantation]… [Analysis]… yeah. I think Iʼve got everything I need.”

Sitting down on a large boulder, Valyr took a quick look at the skill books he just bought, most of which were the essential skills necessary for one to be considered a mage.

”Alright. Looks good.” After saying these words, the young man faintly nodded in satisfaction before placing all of the skill books he just bought on the ground.

After that, he took out the elixirs, as well as the fruit and the mana circuit skill Mystia gave him from his spatial bracelet.

Taking out a whole batch of Basic Reinforcement Elixirs, a spare spatial bracelet, as well as a small pouch of money filled with gold coins after that, it was only then did Valyr feel at ease, letting out yet another sigh of relief before grinning.

”Since Iʼve already prepared everything I needed to prepare…”

”Itʼs time to get this show on the road.”

”[Soul Shift].
