MMORPG: Rise of the Primordial Godsmith

Chapter 1095: Thoughts Unfolding

”...Who am I?”

Feeling an immense headache the moment he returned to the waking world, it took a while for Valyr to sit upright, the thoughts in his mind a jumble as he went through the memories

heʼd seen just now.

”Iʼm... Azradas Volʼsagaxa...” muttered Valyr to himself, only to shake his head as he forced his mind to focus. ”No... Iʼm Valyr Zeihardt.”

”Azradas... Valyr...”

”...Haah.” Feeling like heʼd finally set his mind straight, Valyr let out a wide sigh of relief as The realized that he was close to forgetting who he really was.

Then again, the memories heʼd gone through while unconscious were far more vivid than any of the memories heʼd made so far, all of them packed to the brim with information and small details to the point that Valyr thought of some of them as useless.

Giving himself a bit more time to gather both his bearings and thoughts, the young man soon had a fearful expression as he wondered how much time had passed since he fell unconscious. Bringing up his status screen in response to the thought, Valyr soon let out yet another sigh of relief after calculating that only a few minutes had passed since heʼd fallen unconscious. Though, after the relief he felt died down, he soon felt immense confusion regarding the entire situation. After all, how were all of those memories still so vivid in his mind even though heʼd only gone through them for a few minutes.

ʼIf anything, it felt like those memories lasted for thousands of years,ʼ thought Valyr to himself, deciding to push the memories to the side for the meantime as the system reminded him that he had yet to look at the notifications he received.

Ding!

Knowing that the notifications undoubtedly appeared while he was in the midst of going through all of those memories, Valyrʼs curiosity was at its peak as he wanted to get a better sense of what was going on.

Yet, as he went through the notifications one by one, the young manʼs curiosity only turned into even greater confusion.

[The skills ʼEyes of the Eruditeʼ and ʼEyes of Transcendenceʼ have fused together to form ʼEyes of the Sagacious Oneʼ.]

[With the eyes of the Sagacious One, your innate self has begun to peer beyond falsehoods, its entire being ready to awaken at any moment.]

[You have obtained the title ʼInheritor of the Sagacious Oneʼs Willʼ.]

[You have obtained the title ʼInheritor of the Truthseekersʼ Willʼ.]

[You have obtained the title ʼWitness of the Truthseekersʼ Endʼ.]

Reading through the notification heʼd received, Valyr immediately skipped over the first two he received. After all, the notifications were more or less similar to the ones he got after fusing [Eyes of Enlightenment] and [Eyes of Awakening] together.

If anything, his focus was on the three titles he obtained out of nowhere, prompting him to think that the titles all had something to do with the memories heʼd seen.

ʼI get where the third title is coming from,ʼ muttered Valyr to himself inwardly. ʼAfter all, one of the memories I saw has something to do with the downfall of the Truthseekers and their planet.ʼ

ʼOn the other hand, none of the memories give me an idea on where the two remaining titles would come from,ʼ continued the young man, rubbing his chin as he went over the memories in his mind again and again.

However, seeing as even going through all of the memories did not give him any additional clue whatsoever, he decided to take a look at the description of the two titles themselves...

Only to be shown two screens that did not help out in any way either.

[Inheritor of the Sagacious Oneʼs Will] (Title)

Rarity: ???

Break the chains. Right the wrongs. Show them what they deserve.

[Inheritor of the Truthseekerʼs Will] (Title)

Rarity: ???

Their only wish was to discover the first truth the universe created. Yet, the universe itself condemns them from doing so.

”...Yeah. I know too little information to come up with a theory.” Letting out a sigh as he finished going through the enigmatic descriptions of the two titles, Valyr eventually decided not to think about them for the meantime.

Instead, he shifted his focus towards something he had a higher chance of piecing together, which was the relation of everything heʼd gone through just now with the Shard of Defianceʼs Resonance Mode.

”I may not know what exactly the Shard of Defianceʼs Resonance Mode is, but what I do know is that it has something to do with Vaughnʼs plans,” said Valyr to himself, only to recall what Vaughn had told him in the past.

Briefly sporting a fearful expression on his face, the young man immediately shifted his solo discussion in his mind as he continued his train of thought. ʼIf I remember what Vaughn told me back then correctly, he wants me to try and destroy the Apparatus.ʼ

ʼOn the other hand, the memories that were shown to me were of Azradas, the Sagacious One.ʼ

ʼThough most of it talked about how heʼd become the Sagacious One in the first place, the final memory is the thing I should definitely focus on,ʼ thought Valyr to himself with a serious expression. ʼThe Sagacious Oneʼs unwillingness to join in the creation of the Apparatus.ʼ

Focusing his attention back on that specific memory, Valyr went over it in far greater detail than ever before, allowing him to obtain far more information than what the memory had initially given him.

With the new information heʼd obtained, he was eventually able to ascertain that the tower heʼd seen just before he entered the Shard of Defianceʼs Resonance Mode was none other than the Eternal Tower that Azradas was trapped in.

Recalling the phrase that was spoken to him just as he entered that ethereal state, the young man had a gut feeling that the one saying that was none other than Azradas, though he was not that certain compared to his earlier thought.

Nevertheless, with all of the thoughts between the Shard of Defiance and Azradas going on in his mind, Valyr eventually came to a conclusion that would sound like gibberish to the normal

person.

ʼIn short, Vaughnʼs plans of eventually destroying the Apparatus all starts with the Shard of Defiance, which has something to do with the Sagacious One.ʼ

ʼIʼm guessing it has something to do with that title that man mentioned in the end...ʼ

ʼReality Breaker...ʼ

”Man.” At some point, Valyr let out a wry chuckle at the absurdity of his thoughts. ”I donʼt

know what Iʼve gotten myself into...”

”But Iʼve got a good feeling this might help us win the final battle.”
