Reborn and Counterattack: The CEO's Powerful Sweetheart

Chapter 1056: Chapter 1055: That’s Incredible, Sis

Gu Tong closed her eyes and said calmly, ”False memory is an automatic combination of information retained by the brain that leads to false recollections. Everyone’s brain is susceptible to generating false memories.

The distortion of reality may cause people to have unwavering belief in their own memories, even trusting the lies fabricated by the brain. This isn’t a sign of illness, as everyone can form false memories, especially about childhood and personally experienced events.”

Xia Xi: ”...” Damn, she’s worthy of being a medical student...

At a time like this, she can still summarize theoretical knowledge. That’s incredible, my sister!

Gu Tong continued, ”And what I just experienced didn’t seem like a false memory, but more like selective amnesia! This usually happens when someone receives an external shock or a blow to the head, leading them to forget things they wish to avoid remembering, whether it’s events, people, or objects.

The subconscious chooses to forget the matter, resulting in ’selective amnesia’. But even if superficially it seems forgotten, the shadow lingers, and it will involuntarily influence one’s actions without them realizing it, gradually becoming a complex.”

Xia Xi: ”...” If I had this ability, wouldn’t I have already recovered my memories...

Damn, this is truly fierce!

Gu Tong opened her eyes and said, ”So, to address my issues, the treatment must be targeted, and it should be confirmed whether or not I’m avoiding the matter. Only through summary, recording, and analysis can the data be comprehensively integrated!”

Xia Xi: ”...” Can one really self-treat like this? Isn’t this too miraculous.

Xia Xi swallowed, wiggled her small hand, and said, ”Do you need a guinea pig? There’s a little mouse here, available for free, squeak squeak squeak~”

Those foreign therapy masters and psychology research experts are nothing compared to Xue Tong, the medical genius with experience from two lifetimes.

If Xia Xi were treated by her, the chance of memory recovery would exceed eighty percent. Xia Xi was overjoyed, and now she didn’t regret pushing Gu Tong; it turned out to be the right move, and she felt she was too smart, haha!

Gu Tong gave her a sideways glance, seeing through her smugness, and said, ”Hold your horses, let me deal with my own matters first.”

Xia Xi: ”???” Is this using the donkey as a millstone and then killing it!!!

Who was it that awakened your tiny, tiny, tiny corner of memory!!!

It was her! It was her!!!

Your friend, little Xia Xi!

Gu Tong ignored her and said calmly, ”I don’t have a deep understanding of psychology. I know a lot of theoretical knowledge, so I still need to continue researching. Your problem isn’t simple either, and I’m afraid of misdiagnosing you as a guinea pig, which might lead to further issues in treatment!”

Xia Xi quickly said, ”I’m not afraid! I’m volunteering!”

After all, Xue Tong is her friend from two lifetimes; she’s definitely more reliable than others. Getting treated by her would be the best thing.

Xia Xi was volunteering, and that too without any regrets.

Gu Tong couldn’t help but laugh, shaking her head helplessly, and said, ”Let’s discuss this later!”

Specific matters need specific analysis.

She also needs to study psychology a little!

Since Xue Tong said so, she might be able to help her too, Xia Xi thought, saying nothing more.

’Ring ring ring――’

Meanwhile, Xia Xi’s phone rang.

Xia Xi glanced at it, picked up the call, and said, ”Hello! What? So soon? Damn, are you cheating...”
