Reborn and Counterattack: The CEO's Powerful Sweetheart

Chapter 606: 606: What exactly are you trying to pull?

”Come in!”

Gu Tong slowly put down the research material.

’Squeak---’

The door opened a narrow crack, and Xue Zhengping cautiously peeked halfway in.

Behind him were all the members of the research team, all craning their necks, eager to squeeze through that tiny gap...

In the end, they’re just being good-hearted.

They really had no idea what that girl from Class Five was up to...

After all, what she was doing had not yielded any concrete results despite their days of research, and opinions were divided...

You have to understand how much time and effort they spent because of the pandemic...

However, this girl had only just arrived here, and she led her team, diving headfirst into the lab to experiment...

If they weren’t angry, that would be truly strange...

The experts’ goodwill was practically overflowing...

So, under these circumstances, they kept discussing with Old Xue about letting them in to have a look...

Or perhaps to exchange experiences; that’s a good thing too...

Xue Zhengping led the research team, taking the lead to step into the room.

What they saw was the three people from Class Five, all focused on the microscope, not even lifting their heads. He awkwardly said, ”Gu girl, are you researching drugs...”

This was clearly a rhetorical question.

It was well-known that Gu Tong led people into the lab.

Yet Old Xue still asked...

”Yes, we are!”

Gu Tong calmly put down the container in her hand and said, ”Old Xue, is there something you need?”

”Just wanted to see how far along you are in your research and if there’s any need for assistance...”

At this moment, being a member of the research team, Old Xue actually felt a little embarrassed.

After all, despite their prolonged research, they had essentially achieved nothing, except for some emergency medications without any other solutions.

If it weren’t for this, they wouldn’t have come here voluntarily...

However, coming voluntarily to Gu Tong’s lab also involved the risk of being accused of stealing techniques...

Because of this, Old Xue’s position was even more awkward...

The conversation had reached this point; if Gu Tong didn’t understand, she’d be a fool...

She lowered her head slightly, casually picked up the paper on the table, and said, ”We have two problems to solve! Both are related to the Special Elixir for SARS. Professors, are you interested in helping analyze?”

”Yes, yes, yes...”

The professors nodded eagerly, their heads bobbing like little chickens pecking rice.

They were now impatient to know what exactly Class Five was researching...

Gu Tong picked up a sheet of paper and glanced at its contents, saying, ”Our research and experiments are of two kinds, one is the Anti-SARS Specific Immune Globulin, and the other is serum!”

Her thoughts were clear, and she began the basic introduction without reservation.

”The protein purification process is produced by purifying from the blood of recovered SARS patients, specifically targeting antigen responses of the SARS virus, quickly clearing it and preventing it from invading human cells to achieve therapeutic effects.”

”This drug is extracted from human blood, then processed to avoid possible rejection reactions from direct injection of animal antisera or convalescent patient serum, and the risk of viral blood-borne diseases.”

Concerning SARS, there are indeed some cured patients, but the treatment methods are not uniform, and the damage to the body is significant, with many hormonal drugs involved.

So, the best way is the Anti-SARS Specific Immune Globulin! It can significantly speed up the treatment process and reduce harm to patients, with ideal effects―――
