Possessed By The God: God's Choice Series I (omegaverse bl)

Elias’s POV

Careless. Thoughtless. Reckless.

Noah said he loves me. I told him to shut up. I’m fucked. I’m fucked in all the wrong way and I don’t know what to do about it.

My heart is doing that funny thing again. That strange and painful leaping that makes me wonder if I have an underlying heart condition. Noah drives me mad.

My hands are hanging uselessly by my side as I listen to his footsteps.

I wait till he’s gone before I leave the room. My legs carry me down to my parent’s room and my right hand knocks on the door frantically. My mind is reeling.

The door swings open and I’m greeted by my dad’s scowl.

”What?” he asks unpleasantly.

”He’s in love with me” I say immediately, and he opens the door wider.

”Come in” he says and I walk into the room with him. Mom is folded in a fetal position on the bed and he’s asleep. I wanted to talk to him, but I would hate to interrupt his resting hours. Dad sits on the edge of the bed and gestures to the wooden chair in front of him.

”Sit, pup” he says and I take the seat. My head is slipping between the part of me that is too dark to understand emotions and the part of me that is new and open for Noah only.

”What happened?”

”Nightmare. I was rude to him. Told him to fuck off...”

”I guess all my boys are cursed to having shitty personalities” Dad drags his fingers down his face and I wait for his signal to continue speaking.

”What happened next, Eli?” he asks.

”He got mad at me. I don’t understand why he gets mad. He was angry and he said he’s falling for me.”

”We need to get that boy’s brain checked, no offense, pup” Dad says and I almost reach for my mom. My mom is always more serious than Dad. Just like Damien, Dad jokes about everything and it stresses me beyond normal.

”Do you love him?”

”No” I say flatly and dad folds his arms across his chest.

’Liar’ my brain says before my dad even speaks. The smooth lifting of his eyebrow communicates his thoughts sharper than words would do.

”You don’t look like a man who isn’t deeply in love” he says.

”I don’t know what love is” I confess.

”Neither do I, pup. But I try for your mother and if you want...you can try for Noah” Dad says and I nod. I don’t know what the nod is for, but I nod anyways. I just want to stop hurting Noah. I do it all the time and now I’m thinking...what if he has enough and chooses to walk away from me?

’We’ll keep him. We’ll tie him up. We’ll cage him. He’ll never leave’ my alpha growls and I drop my face into my palm to shut him up.

No more. No more thoughts of hurting Noah. None of those.

”I’m scared, Dad” I lift my head to confess something I’ve never said out loud to anyone else.

”Hmm...to be scared is human, my dear boy. Don’t fight it. You and I are not made to understand love like normal people, but I’m here for you and I will still be here when you realize you’ve fallen for that omega beyond what psychological analysis has diagnosed of us, Son” Dad says and my shoulders drop as tension leaves me.

Of course he’d understand...we’re both diagnosed psychopaths.

”You’ll do just fine pup. Look at your mom and I” he looks back at my sleeping mom fondly and I get out of the seat.

I do want what dad and mom have. I used to mock it...but now I crave it. I crave it with Noah.

”Thanks, Dad” I say and walk to the door with my head down.

Do I go for Noah now? No. When he’s mad, he likes to give me a silent treatment. Why the fuck did I talk to him like that when I know I can’t stand his silence?

I leave my parents room and head to the room Roman is locked up in. Aria is standing at the door with her arms folded across her chest. She releases her guarded posture when she realizes that I’m the one approaching.

”Open” I say simply and she opens the door without saying a word.

Roman Stiles is sleeping with his back against the wall and his head bent to the side. His hands are still tied behind his back uncomfortably. His cuts look cleaned up and the sight makes me growl. Who the fuck took care of my prisoner?

I grab the alpha by the collar and punch him across the face. He gasps in pain as his body lolls to the side. I pull him up to his knees and smash my knuckles into his face again.

”Arghh” he groans but doesn’t fight to get away from me. He stays like a punching bag and I land a third punch. I dislike wasting my time with prisoners. I enjoy ending their lives without seconds and watching their irises dim as life leaves their bodies with their eyes wide open.

Sick.

I am sick. I am death. And I am furious.

”Why aren’t you fighting, Stiles?” I ask him through clenched teeth, and he coughs before lifting his head to meet my eyes.

”Noah...”

”Don’t.” Punch. ”Say.” Punch. Punch. ”My husband’s name” I land the last punch on his nose and he starts to hyperventilate.

”You’re going to kill me” he says and I flash my alpha eyes at him. I want to kill him. I want to send his corpse to the rest of his family in parcels, one body part after the other.

He draws a ragged breath and opens his blood filled mouth.

”I want to tell him I’m s-sorry” Roman says and I snarl. I also want to tell the omega that I’m sorry. While Noah has forgiven Roman from the moment he woke up, I on the other hand, have to work for my own forgiveness.

”I didn’t mean to hurt him...”

Neither did I.

”And my dad...” he pauses as blood goes down his throat and I hold him harder. If he dies by choking on blood, so be it. The Gods roll the dice and the men follow.

”I’m sorry. I’m so sorry...I had no idea...I’m so sorry” he says like he’s begging for forgiveness and not for his life

”Why did you kiss my husband?”

”I love him.”

”Loved” I correct coldly with an accompanying punch to the jaw.

”You can’t change my mind, Elias. I’ve known Noah since I was little and planned my future with him” he rasps, bleeding through his nose and sobbing pitifully.

”It’s a pity I can’t kill you yet” I let his body drop to the floor as I step away from him. With most of my frustrating anger gone, I wipe my hands on his bloodied clothes and straighten.

Now I need Noah.

I walk away from Roman and he stops me by calling my name roughly; ”D-Deus” he calls and I pause.

”What can I do?” he asks and I tilt my head.

”W-what can I do to help you put an end to everything my father was doing?” he asks and I shove my hands into my pocket.

First of all, every Stiles has to die. But my parents don’t support his death yet, neither does my mate.

”You wait for evening” I say to him before leaving the room that smells of blood and pain.

I walk down the hall and follow the faint scent of strawberry pheromones. Noah should have finished his tantrum by now. I’ve had enough of being away from him. I want him, and I want him now.

After a few more steps, I end up in Damien’s quarter of the mansion. I pause when I find my mate sleeping with his head on a plastic table and his mouth hanging half open.

My older brother is standing quietly beside Noah. He’s leaning against the railing and he’s oddly not smoking.

”Is he okay?” I ask and my brother looks at me with dull eyes.

”Treat him better, Elias. Or else I’ll make you regret it” my brother says and my jaw ticks in irritation. Damien deems himself romantic, I don’t.

”I treat my possession how I--”

”You might end up falling from this balcony if you finish those words, Pocket watch. I have a goal and it’s to be a godfather. So fucking take your omega with you and treat him well” my brother snarls as he flashes his golden eyes at me. My own alpha crouches at his tone. Damien is not talking to me like an older brother who is beneath me hierarchy-wise. He’s talking to me as a born alpha who is superior to me nature-wise.

”I’ll treat him better” I say quietly and lift Noah off the chair.

The moment he’s in my arms, the omega instinctively snuggles into me and presses his nose into my scent gland. Fuck. I’d do anything to keep him.

Anything at all.

I’ll start with YouTube videos this morning.
