Possessed By The God: God's Choice Series I (omegaverse bl)

Damien’s POV

Fuck Elias and his fixation on Goldie.

I’d rather be fixating on someone else. Someone with green eyes, black hair, a mole on the nose, and the aggression of a feral feline.

I pull my phone out to check on him.

The camera in his cell shows me what he’s doing every second, and all he does is seethe.

Hell hath no fury like a woman and an omega scorned. That man is dangerous and that fact is why he’s exactly my type.

I sent him a lot of nice things, but he keeps tossing and piling up in the corner of his cell. Hell, I’ve even offered to let him out of the basement, but he rejected my offer.

He not only refused, but he also said something along the lines of; ”when I get out of here, I will slit your throat and make you pay for this.”

Fuck, just thinking of it makes me hot and bothered.

I would love to jerk off and cum all over the floor to the thought of the green-eyed beauty, but I can’t risk leaving my DNA behind.

I adjust my half-chub and look around.

We’re currently waiting for the woman who is both the attending psychiatrist and the Medical Director of that psychiatric hospital to show up.

Kai and I are breaking and entering in broad daylight, but it’s no one’s fucking business. I haven’t killed in two days; I’m starting to feel antsy.

I look around again impatiently; I need to make sure this place is safe for my brothers and Lucas. We’ve subdued the entire city, but humans can be pretty unpredictable when they’re in the mud.

’Fucking calm down, Damien’ I tell myself in my head.

I start to whistle a jolly tune to drown out the impatience, and Kai lifts his head to give me one of those icy glares he inherited from mom.

”Stop whistling, what the fuck?” the brat says and I reach out to pat his head.

”My cute baby brother” I say and he shakes his head aggressively to make me take my hand off.

This nineteen-year-old has always had the prettiest hair and eyes. I call him Siren Junior, S.J. for short.

”Don’t touch me, jackass” he growls, scooting away and trying to refocus on his game. Just like Elias, Kai is also hyper-fixated on his phone.

”Isn’t Lucas cute?” I ask as my eyes find the car parked a few steps away from us.

”So?” Kai asks with his face screwed up.

”Is he cute or not?” I ask again.

”Seriously, stop talking to me” Kai groans, taking his eyes off the screen of his phone to look at me.

”I know you’re a shit driver and you watch all those races to stare at hot alphas, S.J.” I say and he freezes.

My baby brother turns a light shade of pink. He clears his throat as he tries his best to fix his expression.

”I like the cars, stop saying shit” he snaps.

He seems to have forgotten the fact that I’m a born alpha. I can hear his heart rate speeding up, I can smell the slight fear and embarrassment in his scent, and I can read his micro expressions.

”Hey, Kai. It’s okay to like the same secondary gender--”

”We have a job to do here, asshole” he shuts me up and I raise both hands in mock surrender.

”Fuck, I’m only trying to be a good big brother” I say and give him the middle finger.

”Try being a good hunter first. Our fucking prey just opened the door and walked into the house” my little brother says through his teeth.

Did I mention we are in the bedroom of Ms. Patricia Jarred, the psychiatric hospital’s Medical Director?

”Lucas was supposed to signal us” I say as I get up from her hard bed.

”Don’t act like you don’t enjoy the idea of scaring her” Kai says and I smirk. My baby brother knows so well.

I brush invisible specks of dust off my pants and secure my untouched roll of blunt behind my ear. Done with fixing my appearance, I crack my knuckle and head for the door.

Let’s get this shit over with.

I open the bedroom door and I’m greeted with silence.

There is no noise of footstep, no sound of breathing, no ’I’m home’ signals.

I look over my shoulder and lift a hand for Kai to stay back. I won’t let him come near until I’m sure the coast is clear.

Moving closer to the end of the hall, I take the turn and I am suddenly hit in the abdomen with something hard.

”FUCK” I groan, doubling over and clutching my stomach. The brief pain gives my attacker a moment to hit the object on my back.

Wack!

I drop to my knees, bracing myself with a hand to the floor. It’s Ms. Jarred and she’s screaming bloody murder.

The woman drops the iron baseball bat and tries to run off, but I grab her ankle to send her falling to the floor, and then I pull her back.

”Let me go! HELP! AN INTRUDER!” she screams and I slap my palm over her mouth.

She tries to escape, biting, clawing, and sobbing, but I flash my eyes at her.

”Shut the fuck up” I snarl. I’m pissed off by the sudden attack, and I’m even more pissed off by her choice of weapon.

She chose a fucking iron baseball bat.

If I hadn’t built my body like this, she could have done me in within seconds.

”Kai” I call my brother and he comes out of the bedroom with a chair.

We were waiting for her in the bedroom.

We were going to welcome her nicely. We were fucking thoughtful and even had a fucking cup of tea waiting...she just had to ruin it.

Now we’ll interview her in the hallway. Her body is shaking as Kai ties her to the chair. ”Please...I’ll give you all my money, please...please don’t hurt me” she cries.

”Do we look like fucking thieves?” I ask in disgust.

I didn’t wear my designer clothes to be assumed as someone who needs money. What the fuck?

”W-what do you want?” she asks, crying less and trying to negotiate with us. Smart woman.

”Who is Conan?” Kai asks, squatting in front of her and looking into her face with blank iciness.

”Conan? Conan is a patient of mine” she says, sniffling and pressing her lips together.

”Good, remain truthful and you might walk out of here with your organs left alone” I say, pulling out my switch blade to prove my point.

I have no morals. I fuck every and anyone up. This monstrous side of me saved my brothers and I from death as teens.

”How fucked in the head is Conan?” I ask.

”V-very.”

I put the knife to her jaw and Kai sighs.

”My brother has a craving for blood; you wouldn’t want to be his first victim after days of abstinence” Kai advises and the woman bursts into tears.

”He’s not insane! He’s not insane, okay?”

”Not one bit?” I ask, interested in the gossip. Fuck. I love messy situations and Elias just seems to attract those easily. I’m jealous.

”No...Conan is completely sane” she says, squeezing her eyes shut.

”And his stories of being Noah’s real mom...how real is that?” Kai asks her quietly.

”I don’t know” she says, opening her eyes and sobbing again.

If she was innocent, she would have left this city behind. Yet she’s here and she’s obviously comfortable.

”Patricia” I place the knife to her jaw, pressing the tip hard enough to break skin.

She starts to cry harder as my knife digs into her skin, and I watch with hypnotic interest as the red bead of her blood clings to my knife.

”All I know is Governor Goldsmith wouldn’t stop sneaking to the prison and having sex with Conan. His wife took matters into her hands and bribed me to register Conan as mentally unstable...that way, Governor Goldsmith could make his visits without embarrassing her” she says in a rush.

Oh?

”She did the math. Goldsmith visiting the prison too often was a call for concern. But if he visited the psychiatric hospital often instead...it was registered as the Governor being charitable” Kai deduces.

”Well...fuck” I whisper.

So, Conan the mom of Goldie is sane and everyone else involved in this mess are the mad ones. Can I fucking gut this woman?
