Possessed By The God: God's Choice Series I (omegaverse bl)

Elias’s POV

Julian Fletcher, the man who betrayed my parents and kidnapped us, is here.

”Noah” he stands up to welcome Noah and my brain stops functioning.

He’s here in the flesh. He looks like we never bombed his facility. His dark hair has no speck of grey in it.

Noah allows himself to be hugged by Julian and my non-functioning brain starts to malfunction.

The organ starts to replay every feeling Julian ever subjected me to in his cage. The fear. The anxiety. The chaotic noises. The loneliness. The need to control or kill.

Fuck.

I drag a breath, but it doesn’t work as it should. My heart rate is rapidly increasing, it’s beating inside my chest like it’s about to explode, and my lungs feel like they’re collapsing.

Julian is here with Governor Goldsmith and Noah is addressing him as ’uncle’.

Everything about this image is wrong.

Has Noah been tricking me all along? Is he another tool from Julian? Has he been deliberately fucking with my head while I thought I possessed him?

My vision blurs and when I force myself to blink, I find myself in a bathroom space.

How the fuck did I get here?

”Breathe, Elias, you’re having a panic attack” a familiar voice says and I force myself to breathe.

”In...out...yes, that’s it. Count what you love in your head” the voice sounds like I’m in a bubble. It’s muffled but effective, telling me how to cope with the panic attack.

I’m safe. Kai is safe. Damien is safe. We’re grown up. Julian can’t touch us.

”Breathe...that’s right...slow deep breath” the voice pierces through the bubble in wrapped in and I blink twice.

It’s Julian’s voice.

I come back to my senses as I growl, grab him by the neck, and slam him to the bathroom floor. I straddle him and the man groans in pain and grabs my neck.

He flips our position with laughter. He straddles my weak body under his, grabbing my neck and squeezing while I gasp for air.

He’s taking advantage of my weakness.

”Relax, pocket watch” he says with a mocking tone and I snarl, pushing him off my body and pulling out my gun.

”DIE” I roar, shooting at him, but he stays still, smiling at me as I continue to pull the trigger and nothing comes out.

”I have been in the mafia longer than even your father, boy” he says, pulling himself off the floor and panting.

”You think I would bring you to the bathroom and help you out of a panic attack without emptying your gun?” he asks, calmly dusting his clothes while I growl like a wounded animal.

Breathing with difficulty, I attack him with my gun. I will use it as a fucking bat and break his head here and now.

”ARGGH” I roar and run in his direction. Julian falls against the wall, catching my arms in the air to stop me from hitting him.

”Calm down, Elias” he grunts and I push harder. The wound on my body hurts, but I don’t give a fuck.

”Hurting me is equal to starting a political and a mafia war, Elias” Julian says in a hurry and I hiss. I won’t walk out of here till he’s dead. I won’t walk out of here until he can’t breathe.

”I have a diplomatic immunity, Elias. You don’t want war, do you?” he shouts and I loosen my grip on him.

I hear the clicking noise of three different guns, and I turn my head to see the men standing at the door.

They’re dressed in complete military uninforms. They’re with high caliber guns and one of them has a digital camera.

”What’s this?” I ask, looking at the men with anger in my voice and hate in my eyes.

”Hmm, Elias?” he says and I make the calculation.

Getting into political trouble means I would be risking exposure of my family’s underground works, I will put my family in bondage, and Noah will be taken from me and sold to whoever his father wants.

”Fuck” I breathe.

”Always a logical boy. You’re smart, aren’t you?” he asks as he separates himself from me.

”You won’t escape being killed by me” I warn him even though I’m not touching him, and he hums.

”I would be careful if I was you...I am also protected by ally with ten different clans” he says and I growl.

”You’re lying” I spit.

My family has been one of the top five families in the mafia world in this part of the world. If Julian Fletcher had been able to get a truce from more than three clans...it means, there is a rebellion that has been cooking underneath.

FUCK!

”Am I lying, Elias? Just because I stayed by your father side silently for years doesn’t take away who I was” he says and I heave.

”Now behave, Pocket watch. Noah is very emotional boy; imagine you ruin his meeting with his father after a long time” he says and I snarl at the mention of Noah’s name.

”I see...so the omega is your new weakness” he asks with amusement coloring his tone.

”Never say his name” I spit out with resentment and Julian’s smile widens.

”I promised to ruin your family, didn’t I?” he says and I swing my fist, hitting him square in the jaw and sending him stumbling backwards.

His men cock their guns, aiming at me while I focus on Julian.

”I will ruin you” I hiss and he rubs his chin, looking at me with the amusement of a man who has set up multiple protections for himself.

”Remember the religious story of the archangel who challenged God?” he asks, still rubbing his chin slowly and I growl lowly.

”The archangel was said to have lost the battle but did he really?” he asks and I hiss.

”Your family thought blowing up my building was the end. I am a phoenix, Elias. Burn me up, burn me again, keep on burning me and I will always come back” he says and I hold my ground.

”I will take what’s mine and I will sit on the throne that’s mine” he says before turning around and leaving with his men.

Once he’s gone, I stumble backward till my back hits the wall.

My head is spinning with a million thoughts; I walked into a trap. I can’t trust Noah. His relationship with Julian could be a partnership. What if Noah isn’t conditioned...what if he really knows everything?

Fuck!
