Extraordinary Realm from Persuasion System

”So what you mean is that the Minister stayed here in order to further track down the enemy’s base?”

”I think that should be it.”

Leng Bing nodded.

At the same time, Zhang Beixing and the Federation Clan’s grandfather and grandson were sitting in the dining room, while the other servants had gone to invite Leng Bing and the others on the old master’s orders.

The Federation Clan’s daily operations were not much different from usual, so no one noticed that in a blind spot near the manor, a burly man had appeared.

The man’s entire body was wrapped in a black robe. Forget seeing his face clearly, it would be difficult even to make out his body’s contours.

The man’s body kept trembling, as if he were extremely excited about something.

”I didn’t expect that just fusing one type of blood would feel this intense. If I fuse the rest of the blood, I’ll become a true god.”

The man’s eyes were filled with rage and hatred as he stared fixedly in the direction of the Federation Clan manor’s main building.

Meanwhile, Zhang Beixing and the others were enjoying a sumptuous afternoon tea, accompanied by the Federation Clan’s grandfather and grandson.

”From here on out, you must follow Minister Zhang’s arrangements. You absolutely must not act on impulse.”

The old man, as the grandfather, was lecturing his grandson on what he should do. This was also his way of giving Zhang Beixing a topic to pick up on, hoping the other side would show them a bit more consideration on his account.

But Zhang Beixing acted as if he hadn’t heard a thing, just eating his afternoon tea at his own pace. This left a trace of helplessness on the old man’s face, but this was exactly the way a Transcendent with such strength handled things in their eyes.

While the small group were chatting and laughing over afternoon tea, a servant suddenly rushed in.

The servant’s face was full of terror, as if he had just seen something horrifying.

Their own servant behaving like this made the grandfather and grandson’s faces show displeasure. To be so flustered and undisciplined was a disgrace to the Federation Clan.

”A mysterious man broke in and started attacking our clan members. Even the clan’s security has been injured by him.”

Hearing what the servant said, the corner of Zhang Beixing’s mouth curled into a faint smile.

”If I’m not mistaken, this person should be from the Organization.”

Just as Leng Bing had speculated earlier, only one laboratory operated by the Organization had been blown up; the base they had here had not been destroyed.

They hadn’t taken action earlier because the lab explosion had caused a heavy loss, and the person in charge of the base was still thinking about how to report things to the higher-ups.

But when they saw Pike in the base, and the three and a half vials of Primitive Blood he brought back, they immediately approved Pike’s return and reported the lab incident to the upper echelon.

In the end, with the help of the Organization’s high command, Pike injected the remaining half vial of blood into his own body.

No one knew what kind of agony he had gone through to finally fuse the Werewolf blood, but it was certain that Pike’s degree of fusion with the wolf blood was far higher than that previous guy’s.

This allowed Pike to unleash a far greater Power than the previous one had.

Right now, Pike was in the manor’s front yard as if it were an uninhabited land. Any security personnel who tried to stop him were either killed outright or knocked out cold.

”You old bastards of the Federation Clan, get your asses out here!”

After sending the Federation Clan bodyguards blocking his way flying, Pike let out an angry roar toward the main building. Hearing Pike’s shout, Zhang Beixing walked straight outside.

When Pike saw Zhang Beixing standing in front of him, his whole face twisted from rage.

Compared to Pike’s fury, Zhang Beixing looked as if nothing were wrong, tilting his head and sizing the man up from head to toe.

”What the hell is going on with this kid? His Power is actually purer than that previous Werewolf’s.”

Although Zhang Beixing said nothing aloud, in his heart he acknowledged the Organization’s technique this time.

Seeing the meaningful smile on Zhang Beixing’s face, Pike felt a surge of boundless anger in his chest.

”Because of you, my teacher died.”

Because he had fused Werewolf blood, Pike’s voice had become much deeper as well.

”With a voice like that, you could sing bass. You’d be pretty good at rock, too.”

Leng Bing and the others standing behind Zhang Beixing had no intention of making a move.

They knew very well that given the other side’s strength, even if they stepped in to help it wouldn’t make much difference, and might actually get in Zhang Beixing’s way.

”You guys form a defensive formation and protect the Federation grandfather and grandson.”

On Leng Bing’s order, the other team members formed a defensive formation, placing Richard and his grandfather at the very center.

Their strength couldn’t compare to Zhang Beixing’s, but with the formation’s blessing, even a Werewolf couldn’t easily kill the grandfather and grandson.

”They’re not my target this time.”

Pike took two deep breaths, suppressing the beast part in his heart.

After all, the person he was facing wasn’t some ordinary opponent, but an Extraordinary Level existence. Against someone like that, the slightest carelessness could mean death.

”There’s something I’m actually quite curious about. That guy in the cave dressed like a scientist should have been your teacher, right?”

Since Pike wasn’t in a hurry to start fighting, Zhang Beixing wasn’t in a rush either. Instead, he started chatting with the other man.

Although it looked like small talk, Zhang Beixing was not someone who did meaningless things.

He simply wanted to use this opportunity to extract more intel about the Organization, which would make it easier for him to act in the future.

”That man was indeed my teacher. During a gene-modification experiment, there was a problem with the test subject, which damaged the machinery and caused an explosion.”

Pike had no intention of hiding this, because he knew that if Zhang Beixing wanted to investigate, this kind of thing could be easily uncovered or inferred anyway.

At this point, Pike couldn’t help but let out a snort of laughter. He looked at Zhang Beixing with a playful expression.

”In fact, if you have to put it that way, I should be thanking you.”

”Thanking me for avenging you?”

With Zhang Beixing’s intelligence, he instantly understood what Pike meant.

Zhang Beixing didn’t know exactly how that mad scientist had accomplished it, but one thing was certain: back then, Pike was definitely not as strong as he was now.

Otherwise, given the respect he had for that mad scientist, he would never have let his teacher die at the hands of a Werewolf.

As for why Pike had survived, Zhang Beixing’s analysis was that he’d just been lucky enough to escape the blast radius. The modified Werewolf had been killed by Zhang Beixing, which was why Pike said it was like he’d avenged him.

”Since that’s the case, is this how you treat your benefactor?”

Zhang Beixing burst out laughing, clearly not taking the other man’s words to heart.

”No matter what, it was the Organization that saved me, an orphan, and gave me hope to live. Since you want to completely wipe the Organization out, that makes you my mortal enemy!”

After saying this, Pike turned and walked toward the outside. The surrounding Federation Clan security wanted to stop him, but Zhang Beixing’s voice stopped them.

”You’re no match for him. Let him go for now.”

Zhang Beixing wasn’t worried in the slightest that Pike would just disappear, because he knew Pike would never give up on taking revenge on him.

”Why just let him go like that?”

Leng Bing asked, slightly puzzled.
