Extraordinary Realm from Persuasion System

There’s a saying: the timid fear the ruthless, and the ruthless fear the ones who don’t value their own lives. That sounds about right, but it still depends on the situation you’re in.

For ordinary people, that’s indeed a decent method. But if you’re up against a big shot like Zhang Beixing, then you’re just being an idiot.

Compared to the people in this underground boxing arena, Zhang Beixing’s strength and background are both way beyond anything they can afford to provoke. Acting tough and throwing your life away in front of Zhang Beixing only speeds up the rate at which you go meet God.

That’s also why, after learning Zhang Beixing’s identity, the manager of the underground ring didn’t even have the slightest thought of resisting.

Because he knows very well that the man standing in front of him, forget himself—even his own boss behind the scenes might not be able to afford provoking him. Back then, what happened in Europe, just reading about it in the newspapers was enough to make people break out in a cold sweat.

”Minister Zhang...”

The manager’s voice was already trembling. This panicked and helpless look made Zhang Beixing enjoy himself quite a bit. The corners of Zhang Beixing’s lips hooked up in a playful smile, but there wasn’t a shred of pity in his heart.

Because he knew clearly: if their identities were switched, or if today he were just an ordinary person, the other side would never let him off so easily.

Just being able to walk out alive would be a luxury. The best outcome would probably be leaving a few parts behind.

”I already pointed out the bright way for you just now. Whether you walk it or not, that’s your own business.”

When Zhang Beixing spoke, he was clearly smiling, but there was an undeniable authority in his words that brooked no refusal.

Don’t mention the manager in front of him—even the members of the Second Squad standing beside him subconsciously straightened their backs at this moment.

Even back when they’d just entered the Military Force as rookies and faced their first Iron-blooded Instructor, the girls had never been this nervous.

Obviously, what they usually saw was Zhang Beixing’s merciful side. Although his way of doing things sometimes felt too harsh to them, compared to the Zhang Beixing right now, that could practically be called the compassionate heart of a Bodhisattva.

”So this is how our Minister treats outsiders?”

One of the Second Squad’s female soldiers lowered her voice cautiously and whispered to the teammate beside her.

The other teammate subconsciously nodded.

”Probably, yeah. After all, our boss’s reputation was carved out through killing.”

......

...

As the only Extraordinary Person present, none of the changes in the people around him escaped Zhang Beixing’s eyes. And he was very satisfied with his own team’s reaction—this was exactly the result he wanted.

This time bringing them out wasn’t just to help them toughen up; it was also to establish his authority. After all, female soldiers are different from men. He couldn’t just casually kick them twice in the ass, but that didn’t mean his prestige couldn’t be set.

”Minister Zhang, please give me a bit of time, okay? I need to contact the boss behind the scenes.”

Facing Zhang Beixing’s knife-like gaze, the manager subconsciously swallowed a mouthful of saliva. His body rose from his seat and bent slightly, like a mongrel seeing its owner.

”My time is limited. I can only give you three minutes.”

As he spoke, Zhang Beixing tapped his watch, a faint smile hanging on his face.

”When the alarm goes off, if you haven’t given me a result I’m satisfied with, then no one in here leaves alive!”

The smile on Zhang Beixing’s face, in the manager’s eyes, was no different from Death God’s grin.

If it were someone else saying this to him, the manager would at most take it as empty talk and not take it to heart. But the one who said it was Zhang Beixing.

Just like the Second Squad member had said, Zhang Beixing’s name was earned through killing. If he said ”no one leaves alive,” then he would actually do it. That wasn’t just talk.

”I will give Minister Zhang a satisfactory answer.”

Afraid of wasting even a single second, the manager bowed deeply to Zhang Beixing, then immediately left the room. The very first moment he stepped out, he dialed his boss’s number.

”Boss, there’s been an incident.”

A burly black man was soaking naked in a bathtub. As soon as his phone rang, a bikini-clad woman handed it over to him.

Once the call connected, the manager’s anxious voice came from the other end.

”What kind of incident could it be? At worst it’s just some gun-toting punks coming to pick a fight. Just contact Number Two and have him deal with it. You even had to use the special line to call me?”

The black man’s name was Pike, the true boss behind that underground boxing arena. Not only that, he was also the leader of the local Razor Gang.

Anyone familiar with Pike knew that this was his leisure time. No one would contact him unless it was truly necessary. So Pike was a bit unhappy with the manager’s excuse.

”We’ve been cleaned out of 4.5 billion.”

The manager probed cautiously, and even though it was over the phone, he still couldn’t help but swallow hard.

Pike frowned slightly at that, but didn’t take it too seriously. Things like this were rare, but not unheard of. In his eyes, his manager should be able to handle this kind of situation just fine.

”Doesn’t matter who it is—just give him twice his principal and send him on his way. Do I really need to spell out something this simple?”

”But the one who won the money this time is Zhang Beixing!”
