Danmachi: The Focalors Familia Starting from the Dungeon

Aiden’s assaults had been forcefully interrupted several times, and right in this moment of delay, that apocalyptic slash was about to crash down on him. Howling through the air, it threatened to cleave through both the barrier and him.

The enemy could simultaneously use Bone Stakes for crowd control and execute devastating strikes with magic-explosive slashes.

There was no combination more troublesome than this.

Facing that pitch-black greatsword capable of tearing the earth apart, Aiden didn’t choose to retreat.

His eyes were unprecedentedly focused. The golden luminescence surged from deep within him, more brilliant than ever before.

He held Godslayer: Surtr horizontally across his chest, lightly resting his left hand on the spine of the blade.

”Alpha Inforce.”

The low whisper seemed to pluck the strings of time.

In that instant, Aiden felt as though he had experienced countless clashes with Udaeus.

Every dodge, every parry, every slash—all the time and power lost in battle were completely reclaimed, layered, compressed, and finally gathered into the single strike of the sword in his hand.

The blade of Godslayer: Surtr was no longer just surrounded by golden light; it radiated a blazing white from within, like the core of a star.

He moved.

With no wasted motion, he took a step forward, meeting the howling pitch-black blade head-on, and swung this slash, brimming with infinite power, from the bottom up.

Slash against slash.

The moment the two collided, a screech so sharp it seemed to pierce the soul echoed out.

The gold and black lights frantically annihilated and compressed each other at the point of contact, forming a constantly expanding, distorting singularity of energy.

The next moment, a devastating shockwave erupted vertically into the sky.

The pillar of golden light intertwined with the pitch-black sword pressure, transforming into an unstoppable torrent of energy that shot straight into the heavens.

The indestructible ceiling of the Floor Boss room was as thin as a cicada’s wing before this power. It was instantly pierced, leaving a bottomless, massive hole.

Above the hole was the 36th floor.

Several monsters passing by didn’t even have time to cry out before they were instantly torn to shreds by the sword aura and shockwave rampaging up from below.

”No way...”

Lefiya stared blankly at the pierced ceiling, muttering to herself.

”Matching a Floor Boss’s attack head-on with his own strength, and even... breaking through the physical structure of the Dungeon?”

A mournful shriek rang out as a deep gouge was cut into the blade.

Udaeus’s incredibly hard skeletal frame was as fragile as rotting wood before this terrifying slashing light.

The golden radiance cut across the battlefield filled with magma and bones like a meteor.

Aiden was already moving at an inconceivable speed. He charged forward, reducing all the newly spawned Spartoi that tried to block his path into burning fragments, and severing the hardened black pillars rising from the ground one by one.

Any obstacle was violently torn apart.

In Udaeus’s hollow eye sockets, the purple ghost fire flickered violently for the first time. It was a mix of anger and fear.

Whether it was the mountain of swords formed by Bone Stakes or the temporarily raised bone barriers, Aiden easily saw through and broke them all. The offensive and defensive rhythm of this insignificant human had completely surpassed its comprehension.

The Spartoi fodder urgently spawned by the Dungeon didn’t even have the right to chase his afterimage; they were left far behind, only to be subsequently pulverized into dust by the shockwaves of the battle.

More importantly, that golden-red slash left melting scars on its proud skeletal body every time it landed.

Fine cracks had already formed on its ribs, and the terrifying heat even threatened the core Magic Stone within.

Even that theoretically indestructible pitch-black greatsword was now covered in cracks, looking as though it could shatter at any moment.

Aiden’s power of flame seemed to have no limits.

Ooooooooooo!

Beneath the fear was an even purer rage.

Udaeus made a desperate gamble.

In an instant, it gathered all the bone appendages it had spread beneath the entire hall’s floor right to its front, and launched a colossal mountain of Bone Stakes all at once.

It was no longer just a simple attack; it was an unavoidable wall of death made of over ten thousand bone spears, crushing forward and leaving no room to escape.
