Beastmaster of the Ages

”Divine-path keys?” Tianming felt like a treasure just dropped out of the sky. ”They came right at the time we would need them.”

”Indeed! With these things, our astralship fleet will be able to go all the way to their doorsteps! Traveling through the Flameyellow Divine Path is much faster than traveling through the wormhole expressway! Not to mention, their stellar charts also don’t have waypoints to the Sun. We would always be faster than they are in making a move,” Wudi said.

”What are you thinking? Astralship army... How many combat-ready ships do we even have?” Tianming said, not quite knowing what to make of this. The Eightpart Pantheons had far more ships than the Sun. ”If we’re really going to mount a surprise attack, the Ninedragon Imperial Tomb will be enough. I want to use these keys for something even more urgent.”

”What’s more urgent than this?”

”I have conquered the Sea of Aeternity. There’s an unlimited supply of order and overflow fragments there. Coupled with the ninelives fruits from the Ancestral World, we have the crucial resources that we need to produce large numbers of cosmic gods among the flameyellow descendants. The Upper Star Ruin is far too large, so I had been wracking my brains over how I would distribute these resources to them quickly. The Ninedragon Imperial Tomb alone wouldn’t be enough for that,” Tianming said.

”Then we really did hit the jackpot! To be frank, I think that the flameyellow descendants of the fortuna-class worlds are the true foundation of our future. They have a bloodline that allows them to dual cultivate and they don’t lack the talent either. They had only been held back because of the heavenly shackles and lack of resources. With the shackles gone and access to the best order fragments in the universe and the backflow of order growth coming from you, we’d be able to win by nurturing them!”

Wudi knew better than anyone how effective order and overflow fragments were. He, Tianming and many others had relied on them to quickly build up a power base. The flameyellow descendants were even luckier as they had the connection with Tianming that helped them stabilize their growth. The ninelives fruits could also be used to grow the number of middlekin astrons they had, which was the key to growth as cosmic gods.

”Guess we’ve decided our next steps. Let’s not waste time. You’re sure these divine-path keys work, right?”

”Of course. They come with their own Flameyellow Atlas. They’re really fast too!” Wudi said.

”Obviously. The wormhole expressway can only allow ships through, but the Flameyellow Divine Path can let our entire Sun through, let alone ships! The bandwidth’s just far wider,” Tianming said, before switching to a more stern tone. ”Alright, I’ll need people to construct a supply chain to the various fortuna-class worlds. The stronger the people there become, the stronger I and the Sun will grow!”

It wasn’t enough that Tianming alone became stronger. He would pull the trillions of flameyellow descendants with him and become an absolute ruler by their side!

”Let me deal with the ships. You just need to get Mushan Feng to find me some talented young people to help out. I do need one or two chief supervisors. They don’t have to be strong, but we need them to be smart and trustworthy,” Wudi said.

Tianming had a few candidates in mind. ”Alright, let’s do this.”

He left the Gladean Ruins and returned to the Sun with the Ninedragon Imperial Tomb. Thanks to Yin Chen’s early notice, two pink-haired women were waiting for him. One was gentle, caring and accepting, while the other was mischievous and filled with youthful vigor.

”What’s up? I only just got into bed. Did something happen?” Suishen Yao asked, looking up at the giant she could no longer properly serve. Back then, Tianming had the two of them take over as administrators of his dynasty in the Lower Star Ruins, so they already had lots of experience running huge projects.

”Auntie.” Tianming ignored the younger Suishen and sat on the ground, looking at the woman who calmed his heart. ”How have you been doing?”

No matter how large Tianming was, the way Jiguang looked at him was still how she would look at a child. ”Thanks to the treasures you gave me, I’ve managed to reach the eighth level of the Microcosmic stage.”

”I’m at the fifth level!” Yaoyao said proudly.

Their growth rate was the fastest among those from the Lower Star Ruins with the exception of the monstrous Tianming’s. He nodded and said, ”I do have something I need the two of you to help out with.”

Jiguang was quite happy to hear that, while Yaoyao rolled her eyes. All she wanted to do was slack off, while Jiguang wanted to do everything she could to help him.

After hearing Tianming’s briefing, Jiguang said, ”It seems easy. All we have to do is to deal with the distribution of resources, right?” The only hard requirement for such a task was someone trustworthy to carry it out.

”Do we get any commission?” Yaoyao asked.

”What are you talking about? I’m the commission! Think of all the stuff I’ve given you!” Tianming said.

”Shameless.” She glared at him and said, ”Come to think of it, when are you also going to give Auntie some ridiculous talent to cultivate? She wants to help you out with everything, especially when it comes to making heirs.”

”Yaoyao, stop messing around,” Jiguang said, embarrassed.

”You can’t afford to take it slow! You’re basically a cougar lady already!”

”Is that what you think of me, huh?!” Jiguang snapped at her.

”Nonsense. I’m only stating the unbiased facts,” Yaoyao said, shaking her head furiously.

Tianming didn’t think that their request was unreasonable. ”Auntie, you’ve helped me out so much at Myriadpath Valley, so you deserve anything you want.”

”What about me?” Yaoyao asked.

”You can step aside.”

”Hmph! I knew it. You still can’t get enough of bigger chests even though you’re already so huge yourself,” Yao said.

Tianming rolled his eyes. ”I beg you... Please shut up.”

Jiguang laughed at seeing their little spat. Even though what happened at Myriadpath Valley was a long time ago, Tianming still remembered Jiguang fondly. Spending time with her always made him feel like returning to his peaceful home to take a break. If only they were the matching size too for him to ’catch a break.’
