Beastmaster of the Ages

Once the cosmic gods of the Primordial Sands left, only Tianming, Moran, Zi Zhen, and the million little beastballs were left. It was quite the merry scene.

”Umm....” The two girls looked at him.

”Let’s wait and watch while we improve ourselves,” Tianming said. They had reached a wall when it came to Lingfeng’s matter and the fight for ninelives fruits. Huang Qi didn’t stop trying to tempt him, but Tianming only wanted to ignore her more and more the more she prattled on. He trusted Lingfeng and his grit; Lingfeng wasn’t someone who would lose that easily. Given the dire straits he was in, he had to keep calm and trust that his brother would be okay and not do something rash.

The little beastballs can help Zi Zhen recover her power, but not Little Fish.... Even though both of them were reincarnations of some kind, that was the difference between them. Then again, it wasn’t that the orders in the beastballs were completely useless to Moran; she could slowly gain insight from them, but it was far slower than just consuming orders outright.

Since they’re busy harvesting ninelives fruits and need time to get through those formations, I’ll use the time to break through! Tianming stilled his mind and sat down cross-legged. As he gained insight from the galaxy-class orders, he also used ninelives fruits to increase his middlekin astron count. If I can break through, I’ll properly become a quasi cosmic god. This time around, the rest of my body will change, right?

Among his lifebound beasts, only Ji Ji hadn’t become a cosmic god yet, and its ancestral order permeated his entire body.

Normally, when the entire body’s astrons turn into middlekin astrons, one would become a cosmic god. But unlike others, my most crucial astral organ hasn’t transformed yet! Tianming looked down pitifully and felt like crying. His lifesbane order resided within his brain and his imperial will resided within his seventh astral organ. His brain, thanks to his omnisentient order, had managed to transform its astrons to middlekin astrons. Since then, his seventh astral organ was the only one left.

Even though I’m a quasi cosmic god, I still lack that part. If anyone else knew that, I’d become a complete laughingstock....

Tianming couldn’t help but turn to Zi Zhen and was gradually starting to feel her pull. She also kept a close eye on his progress. I have no choice. I guess I’ll have to take the last embarrassing step before her very eyes.

Even if he desired her, he couldn’t do anything about it. He focused entirely on improving the ancestral order, which flowed through the rest of his body. As Tianming’s understanding of that order wasn’t that deep, using only overflow fragments would result in great instability. He had to take it step by step and work on it, leaving his lifesbane and imperial orders for last.

”Ancestral creation and destruction are two sides of the same coin.... Ancestral creation was responsible for the existence of everything, but the same force can also destroy everything. Life in existence, death in oblivion....” His ancestral order would be interfacing with most of his middlekin astrons, more than the seven heptastar astral organs combined. As such, he consumed more ninelives fruits than he ever had, all golden ones.

”The Primordial Sands are collecting ninelives fruits at a slower rate compared to the Eightpart Pantheons. They only have fifty million, while the Eightpart Pantheons have almost a hundred million....” If Tianming was harvesting the fruits, it would speed things up a lot. However, he didn’t want to give the Primordial Sands all of them, since their relationship wasn’t that well established yet—unless Feiling actually appeared before him after overcoming her tribulation.

The two sides continued collecting ninelives fruits while Tianming carefully traced each step of his breakthrough. The further he was on his path, the more haste would ruin things. As such, he focused his current breakthrough attempt on understanding the caeli to healthily gain insight.

Eventually, Zi Zhen reached the sixth level of cosmic godhood and stood around six hundred meters tall. Though her clothes were wide and loose, they struggled to hide her sexy specter figure. Though her form was proportionally tiny, she packed a lot of power in it.

As for Moran, she was rather slow and still at the sixth level.

After even more time, Tianming’s ancestral order finally changed into a pink planet! ”Success! I’m really a quasi cosmic god now!” Tianming rapidly devoured golden ninelives fruits. He transformed once more and stood seven hundred meters tall, although he still had one final part where his astrons still hadn’t transformed to middlekin astrons.

”Does this make me an infertile cosmic god?” Tianming chuckled at the thought.

”All you can do is to make yourself more beautiful and sparkly, but to what end? You’re nothing but a cosmic eunuch,” Ying Huo said, almost making Tianming cough out blood.

”You little...!” Even though it was displeasing to hear, it was a really apt description. If his body was a flintlock rifle, his seventh astral organ would be the candle used in place of an actual piece of flint.

”You’d better not let Zi Zhen hear that, or it’ll be incredibly embarrassing.” It was fine if anyone else said it, but definitely not Zi Zhen. She was way too much to handle for any normal man, so Tianming couldn’t bear to be impotent.

He forced those thoughts out of his head and paid attention to the changes in Ji Ji, whose astral form continued expanding within his lifebound space... before it shrank all of a sudden! Eventually, it shrank from something the size of a heliacal-class world to a pink star of about a hundred meters in diameter.

Tianming had it leave the lifebound space and appear before him. Even though the pink star looked small, it managed to shake the entire Miracle Mountain when it landed on the ground. It was more massive than a deific-class world!

”The density packed in there must be mindblowing....” Looking a bit closer, Tianming noticed that Ji Ji hadn’t just shrunk; its fundamental quality seemed different. Before, it had been nothing but a pink nova source, but now, it looked like a pink astral diamond, tiny but tough! Its spiritform that looked like a girl in pink hadn’t changed in size at all.

It sat on the pink star and rolled its eyes at Tianming. ”What’re you looking at?”

”You do have deep ties with Feiling after all. When she underwent Nirvana Rebirth, she turned into a crystal star. And now you look like a crystal, too,” Tianming said.

”Hehe.” Ji Ji seemed rather smug and was still obviously displeased for being the last of its siblings to reach cosmic godhood.

”You’re the little sister. Nothing’s gonna change that,” Bai Ye and Bai Ling said.

”Go away you tryhard retards,” Ji Ji spat.

”Little sister! Emphasis on little!” The two shamelessly laughed.

”Go! Leave my sight!”

After they argued for a bit, Tianming asked, ”So what’s changed?”

The moment he said that, the pink crystal forcefully slammed into his body, instantly filling him and the other lifebound beasts that were fused with him with genesis ancestral nova source that blended in with Tianming’s own. His body was covered in a layer of brilliantly sparkling pink crystal.
