Beastmaster of the Ages

It was a good opportunity for Tianming. He had Yin Chen keep a close eye on things and quietly slipped away from the Grand Myriadpath Ruins using Fiveway Blitzrun. A while later, he arrived at the Myriadpath Celestial Formation, which was full of Yin Chens.

”Let’s go!”

Tianming disappeared and headed for one of the largest stareye relays, the one leading to the Yin-Yang World. It had ten times the skypiercer-class nova sources of any other relay and was very far away. Given its capacity, it could carry a large number of eminents and reverends at the same time.

”I heard it takes a month to reach the Yin-Yang World.” But for him, it felt like an instant. In the blink of an eye, he appeared on a stareye relay.

”Pathkeeper Li? What’re you doing here?” Before he could even stand still, Tianming was startled by a voice coming from beside him. He looked toward the source and found an old reverend that he didn’t recognize. The man was most likely an ordinary reverend.

Tianming awkwardly smiled. ”I was curious so I decided to take a look at the Yin-Yang World from a distance.”

”Oh!” The old man smiled and said, ”Then you mustn’t get too close. You may get sucked in by the yin-yang essence even if you’re in the outer ring.”

”I see. Thank you for your concern,” Tianming replied. His actions weren’t unusual. Many myriadpath disciples would come and take a look out of curiosity. It was fine as long as they didn’t get too close.

The old man activated the relay and returned to Myriadpath Valley. Now, Tianming was the only one in the vicinity of the relay.

Sensing a light from behind which seemed to come from the Yin-Yang World, he turned around.

”How spectacular!” He was shocked by the sight that greeted his eyes.

The awe he felt was even stronger than the first time he had laid eyes on Myriadpath Valley. After all, Myriadpath Valley was steady and restrained, so it looked majestic and imposing. On the other hand, the Yin-Yang World had a fierce beauty. After the structure of the chaotic nova source world had been completely destroyed, its power was uncontrollably released. Before its brilliance, the entire cosmos seemed to be devoid of stars, almost like it was the only light. It was composed of two parts, black and white. From a distance, it looked like a butterfly with black wings on the left and white on the right. The left one was closer to Tianming.

”A brilliant astral butterfly in the dark starry sky?” The radiant and boundless butterfly was an astonishing sight, but because Tianming was still far away, he didn’t realize how big the Yin-Yang World was.

”The black wings are the Yin World and the white wings are the Yang World. I heard that we can’t enter the Yang World.”

But Tianming had forgotten to ask why. ”Maybe it’s too far away and there isn’t a relay there?” He didn’t dwell on it for too long.

He soon noticed a golden spot on the black wings. It was the entrance to the Outer Yin built by Myriadpath Valley, a complex formation called the Lumistar Formation. There were three purposes of the formation. First, it was used to create an entrance to the Outer Yin. Second, it acted as a restriction to those with insufficient strength. And finally, those who entered the Outer Yin would lose their direction, and transmission stones couldn’t be used either. Like a lighthouse, the bright formation was their way back.

They say that you must immediately return by the same path if you can’t see the Lumistar Formation when you turn around once you’re deep in the Outer Yin. It means you have reached the chaotic core of the Yin-Yang World, the Inner Yin. If you don’t return, you’ll die! Not even an eminent can remain in the Inner Yin for long, Tianming thought as he shot toward the formation using Fiveway Blitzrun.

As soon as he made a move, he would be “disobeying” the rules, so he couldn’t let others see him. Thus, he put on the mask and his whole body was immediately shrouded in the strange purple mist, transforming him into someone else altogether. At the same time, he separated a hundred billion of the nine hundred billion Yin Chens and divided them further, sending them out. He only appeared outside the formation after Yin Chen had made sure there was no one nearby.

He was already next to the Yin-Yang World. Just as the old man had said earlier, the yin-yang essence raged, forming a storm.

”Entering this Yin-Yang World is just like entering the fusion formation of a fortuna-class world, isn’t it?” That was really scary! Even Ebonia’s relatively calm nova source was enough to terrify Tianming.

The entire world was a dark storm, an extremely cold force that could not only scrape off flesh, but also grind bones. The Outer Yin must be a nightmarish world of cold wind and storms!

The storm was already deafening before he even entered the formation.

”Let’s do this!” Taking a deep breath, Tianming used the black-and-gold sword light of the Infinitum Stele to open a path, bursting with his own strength as well as the power of his lifebound beasts. As the sword moved forward, man and sword merged into one and he directly plunged into the Lumistar Formation.

To get in, he had to break through the formation. As long as he could pass the first test, it would mean that he truly possessed the combat power of a reverend.

”The Infinitum Stele has maniverse-class power. It should be stronger than Suishen Yue’s Kunlun Watcher! Even if my own strength is inferior to a reverend, it should be enough to help me get through!”

The surrounding black fog surged, blurring his vision. Tianming, who was covered in the purple mist, almost perfectly blended in. Amidst the chaotic environment, the cosmoforce in his body was almost undetectable.

”Anyway, others might not be able to recognize me even if I wasn’t using the mask and use my real body to sneak an attack.”

Yin Chen had informed Tianming that it couldn’t see him at all. The mist of the mask was originally a dark purple that was almost black. In the glow of the Lumistar Formation, Tianming seemed to have merged with the yin-yang essence storm. He would be even more indistinguishable after entering and moving away from the formation.

As he drew closer to the formation, he felt the heat, but he knew that bitter cold would immediately engulf him once he passed through.
