Beastmaster of the Ages

Most people only had a single strand of order, as that was the fastest way to make progress. Myriadstar beasts would usually start by forming heptastar cosmic physiques to prepare for what was to come. However, it was absolutely impossible for them to produce order themselves.

”In other words, the only difference between Ying Huo and orderans right now is their raw power. Nova source is converted into cosmoforce for the astrons in the Order stage, but Ying Huo’s still a solarian without a minor stellar chart. That’s why it still converts nova source into astralforce. It still has astral discs in its albi that haven’t fused fully yet.” In other words, Ying Huo’s heptastar cosmic body wasn’t fully formed yet. Either way, it was still a shocking surprise for it to be able to innately generate order. As for how powerful order that was independent from the sea of order was, they would only find out after some testing.

”How is it? Badass, right?” Ying Huo was pumping with excitement.

Tianming, on the other hand, kept pondering about the heptastar cosmic physique. ”A human can transform into an entire universe through cultivation.... That’s terrifying.”

”If it’s really as you say, then we ourselves might be inside the body of some other being,” Ying Huo said.

”That makes sense.”

”Ebonia might just be a single astron among countless others.”

”Then would you say that this universe is male or female?”

”Oh? What if it’s female? Are you thinking impure thoughts?”

”Enough with you!”

Ying Huo was just the first to finish its transformation. Tianming anxiously waited until the rest hatched from their cocoon according to their birth order. Meow Meow, just like Ying Huo, emerged and looked like the same cat it always had. But once it transformed into the Regal Chaosfiend, it was even more imposing than before. It was entirely covered in lightning with even more enhanced chaos properties. More importantly, it also had seven strands of genesis order, which allowed it to absorb more lightning bolts for an even more powerful explosion.

”Damn, even my balls have order now! I won’t be afraid of Chicken Bro anymore with my balls of steel!” Meow Meow was quite delighted by the discovery of its order-enhanced seventh astral organ.

”Huh?” Lan Huang was the third to finish, but its looks had changed the most. It looked like a mountain of indeterminate size, towering over everything around it. Its colossal body was made up of countless astrons that took the place of its albi, and it also had primordial order to boot! There were features of mountains and seas across its body, making it look like a world unto itself.

At least, so far, those three lifebound beasts were similar to Tianming in constitution.

Xian Xian, on the other hand, had gone completely off the rails. It generated radix order, which allowed it to control seas of flowers and generate new plants and even divine herbs. While it didn’t have the dreaded seventh astral organ that shall not be named, it did have nine astral nuclei, which were its nine flowers, both bloomed and unbloomed. That allowed it to have nine strands of order that resided within the flowers. Plant-type lifebound beasts were different in that they didn’t have heptastar organs in the conventional sense, but they did have seven cores all the same, instead of the nine Xian Xian had, and only one strand of order.

Next was Yin Chen, the one Tianming had dearly missed. It didn’t have any astral organs at all, nor did it have astral nuclei. It also had only a single strand of immortal order. However, its strength lay in its ability to transform its order into countless forms and distinct smaller strands that allowed it to fill every single body it had. It could generate the order without end, just like its bodies, making it functionally immortal.

”My transformation... raised my... body limit... to a... whole ten... billion billion!” That was the first piece of good news it had given Tianming when it emerged.

”Awesome!” With the immense gravity of Ebonia, Yin Chen required an entire silver egg for an invisible cockroach, instead of only a tenth of one like before, to be able to move, which was why Tianming needed its maximum body count to rise. A ten-billion limit would raise its potential in combat and other situations even more.

Lastly, it was Ji Ji’s turn. When it emerged from its cocoon, it did so as a glowing pink nova source world with a diameter of ten thousand meters. The pink girl that was its spiritform looked deeply into Tianming’s eyes. ”What’re you looking at?”

”I was wondering what changes you experienced,” he asked.

”What does it have to do with you? Do you care about me at all? Or do you only care about using my power?” Ji Ji said with contempt. To think that it wouldn’t boast like the others and turn to teasing him instead. ”I now have ancestral order. I’m just one star, nothing else.”

It also had order, like the others. Given that it used to be the largest nova source world in the universe back in its day, if the universe was a god, it would be akin to a sentient astron in that god’s body that had innate order! Like usual, Ji Ji was the exception to most rules, just like how it didn’t even have a cultivation codex. Instead, its strength was directly correlated with Tianming’s. The stronger he was, the more energy it would be able to absorb to increase the volume of its star form; it didn’t need anything like a heptastar cosmic physique. Just like that, all six lifebound beasts returned to Tianming, all having terrifying order at their disposal.

”With all the bloodline shackles that you’ve unlocked, as long as we symbiotically cultivate, my own bloodline traits should change as well, right? While I might not be able to obtain a heptastar cosmic physique, like most of you, perhaps your different orders can enhance my divine wills!” That way, he might be able to try shooting for the Stellaminoris stage! He couldn’t wait to start cultivating again.

”Fine, seeing as how pitiful you are, I’ll let you leech off me,” Ying Huo said.

”Hmph, without us around, Boss is just a lonely old spinster! How pitiful!”

”No worries! I’ll crush him to put him out of his misery with my impressive tortoise bloodline!”

”Lonely? Use your brains, guys. Without us around, I bet Little Li was having lots of fun with Ling’er without even having to close the doors!”

”Tortoise Bro... let me... take baths!”

”A bunch of fools.”

Tianming didn’t even need to look to know which of his little critters said what. He had missed them far too much. ”Come, then!”

Tianming’s lifebound beasts were only a half step away from being orderans, whereas he himself still hadn’t even formed his minor stellar chart. It was too demotivating. Converting the sacrosun to a minor stellar chart was the key focus of the next stage, which laid the groundwork for forming a heptastar cosmic physique. The minor stellar chart was a blueprint for all that was to come, manifesting within the inner walls of each albus and fusing with them. At the moment of transformation, the astral discs interface with the minor stella chart within the albus, forming an energy channel in the body and allowing for the fusion of fleshly body and energy, converting them to actual astrons.
