Shut Up, Malevolent Dragon! I Don’t Want to Have Any More Children With You

Vol 7. Chapter 65: Dora the Dragon King? No, Vice Principal Dora!

The opening day of Saint Heath Academy was also the entrance ceremony for the next class of new students. As soon as Leon stepped through the academy gates carrying Muse in his arms, Principal Wilson somehow popped out of nowhere as if triggered by radar, greeting them warmly.

“Oh-ho, Prince, Silver Dragon King, long time no see, long time no see.”

While speaking, Principal Wilson’s gaze swept over the Melkvey family. Then, Wilson leaned slightly toward the precious child and took in a small breath.

Leon raised an eyebrow.

“What’s that supposed to mean, Principal?”

“Nothing, I just have a feeling you two will be bringing the academy some kind of surprise this term.”

The couple exchanged glances and instantly understood what that old B-dragon meant by “surprise.” Honestly, they really wanted to say, “Sure, everyone loves the baby, but expecting a brand new one every term—don’t you think that’s asking a bit too much?”

After a brief exchange of pleasantries with Principal Wilson, the family headed into the academy. Because it was the entrance ceremony, today was especially lively. By the time they arrived at the open plaza in front of the main academic building, it was already packed with people.

Claudia ✧ NоvеIight ✧ (Original source) was in the crowd, welcoming dukes and even dragon kings of various dragon clans. As the newly appointed vice principal, she certainly had her hands full—a fact Leon could relate to all too well.

“Dad, I’m going to find Helena.”

Noa reported before running off in the other direction.

“Wait for me! I’m coming too!”

Leon didn’t have time to stop her before she vanished into the crowd...

“Moon’s coming with you guys too.”

With the eldest and second sisters gone Aurora also decided to look around:

“Want to see where the first bit of fun of the second term is hiding.”

Unfortunately, today was an unusually proper, rule-abiding day, and there was no fun to be found.

Leon bent down to set Muse on the ground, then patted her small head.

“Go wander around with Third Sister—the entrance ceremony can be interesting too.”

“Okay~”

Not finding any fun herself, Aurora naturally took up the responsibility of looking after her little sister. Ah, thinking back to the days when she was the youngest child in the family, with eldest sister, second sister, dad, and mom all fussing over her, Aurora couldn’t help feeling a pang of unbreakable nostalgia— Because the more people there were, the more fun there was to be had, and back then she never lacked for mental entertainment.

Who would have thought that in the blink of an eye, she’d become the dependable older sister.

“Truly, time spares neither dragon girl nor dragon lady~”

Aurora sighed inwardly, then took Muse’s hand and led her off to play somewhere else.

“Well then, uncle, auntie, I’ll follow them—just in case they run into any danger.”

Xiaoxue gave a slight nod.

“Alright, I’ll trouble you then, Xiaoxue.”

“Mm, no problem.”

Once the children had left, the couple exchanged another glance, then in perfect sync stepped toward Claudia.

Making their way through the crowd, they waited until Claudia finally finished welcoming a certain duchess and found a moment to rest.

Taking advantage of her brief break, the couple walked up.

“Hi, senior,” Leon greeted.

Just then, Claudia’s assistant Samantha came over with some water for her.

Seeing her former superior, Samantha politely nodded in greeting.

“Bring two bottles of water, Samantha,” Claudia said.

“Yes, Vice Principal.”

Claudia first handed the bottle she had just received to Rosvisser, then paused, studying the couple’s expressions before smiling.

“You two seem to be in a good mood—something happy happen?”

“Oh? Is it that obvious?” Leon chuckled, then said:

“It’s about Muse’s elemental attribute. We ran a lot of tests to figure it out, and finally confirmed that it’s related to ‘sound.’ She can incorporate sound characteristics into magic.”

Hearing this, Claudia’s interest was piqued. With her broad knowledge of magic, she’d seen elemental attributes develop over more than a hundred years, but she had never heard of “sound” before.

“That’s definitely an attribute I’ve never seen. So now that you know it’s sound-related, the next step is to develop techniques and a combat system to go with it, right?”

“Every type of magic has corresponding techniques and battle systems. For example, Leon’s lightning magic—it’s got exceptional burst power, high damage, and brief enemy control effects, so most of his techniques are built around those traits to bring out lightning magic’s maximum potential. Or take Dragonbell’s most common fire magic—like lightning, fire also has powerful burst power. It doesn’t deal as much damage in a short span as lightning, but it lasts longer, and its form is easier to control than lightning, so offensive options are more varied. Elemental attributes counter and complement each other, with no inherent superiority or inferiority—their strength depends entirely on the user.”

“Mm, Leon’s been cramming the physics knowledge he skipped before, hoping for inspiration,” Rosvisser said.

Claudia gave a soft hum.

“Developing a new combat system from scratch can’t rely on just basic physics knowledge. Funny thing is,” she went on, “even on this bizarre magical continent of Samael, the Silver Empire still has some basic physics left. If those fundamentals didn’t exist, the first ones to suffer would actually be the gunners—after all, Rebecca and her people make their living off those ‘technological achievements.’”

“I get what you mean, senior. But this kind of thing really isn’t my strong suit, so I want to start from the basics and work my way up,” Leon explained.

Claudia nodded.

“Mm, that’s fine. Once you’re less busy, I’ll help you with it. The things you’re bad at, I’m actually quite good at.”

“That’s exactly what I was hoping for, senior.”

Claudia rolled her eyes and gave Leon’s shoulder a light punch.

“I swear, Leon, you’ve gotten so unreserved with me—you can at least pretend to be formal.”

Leon scratched his hair and grinned.

Just then, Samantha returned with two bottles of water.

“Sorry for the wait, Vice Principal. And Leon, sir, here’s your water.”

Leon took it and teased:

“Looks easy watching Senior Claudia at work, huh? She’s way better than me.”

Samantha smiled and nodded.

“Both you and the Vice Principal are excellent leaders—whoever I work with, I never feel any pressure.”

If Principal Wilson had half her way with words, he wouldn’t have been saddled with the Melkvey family’s nickname of “old B-dragon.”

“Those dukes over there are chatting? Principal, you should—”

“Mm, tell them I’ll be right over.”

“Understood.”

Once Samantha left, Leon squeezed the bottle in his hand as if remembering something.

“By the way, senior, I’ve been practicing water magic, one of the five major elements. My mom—oh, that’s Senior Hera—told me to find an expert in water magic to ‘guide’ me. So...”

Claudia rolled her eyes again—by now, she’d perfected the move to an art form.

“Alright, alright, I’ll teach you, really.”

Her willingness to help wasn’t just due to family ties—it was also because of her position as vice principal. Not long after taking the job, Claudia had realized the academy didn’t have any kind of succession ranking system for the role.

Her appointment had come entirely from Leon’s recommendation. Both of them understood this but never brought it up publicly.

Still, Claudia had her own ways of repaying Leon. And teaching this brat some water magic was hardly a difficult favor.

“Mm~ So you’re learning water magic to perfect the Five-Spirit Sacred Shadow?” Claudia asked.

Leon nodded. “Exactly. My wind magic isn’t that strong either, but I don’t know any wind magic experts.”

That gave Claudia pause.

“I don’t really know any either... tough problem.”

As they were at a loss, a familiar voice called out from not far away.

“Hey~~ Little Ross, little sister~~”

Leon and Rosvisser turned to look. In the distance, a tall, striking red figure was waving at them, with a girl with light-green hair walking at her side.
