The Good for Nothing Seventh Young Lady

Yan Di instantly detected the change in the situation. He immediately released a huge vortex of devil energy, pushing Yang Xi and Doudou back. The next second, he crushed the devil energy gourd at his waist.

Black mist filled the sky, and all the devil generals saw this signal.

Retreat!

The crushing of Yan Di’s devil energy gourd was a signal to retreat!

The devil generals did not expect Yan Di to use it at all.

The appearance of the nine Holy Beasts could turn the tide of the war to a certain extent, but they were not guaranteed to lose. Why did Yan Di choose to retreat at this time?

Without time to think about it, the devil generals could only obey Yan Di’s orders and stop fighting. All the devil generals released big attacks to push their opponents back and then fled the battlefield as fast as they could.

In the blink of an eye, the twelve devil generals had withdrawn from the entire battlefield.

The people who had been fighting with the devil generals for a long time finally got a little respite, but they didn’t want to let it go.

“Stop!” Tang Nazhi’s bloodshot eyes were fixed on Tian Jue and Ji Ying, who were retreating rapidly. Shen Yanxiao followed suit and stepped up her attacks.

But at this time, Shen Siyu suddenly rushed in front of them, blocking their way.

“Light God! What are you doing!?” Tang Nazhi watched helplessly as Tian Jue and Ji Ying faded away due to Shen Siyu’s obstruction. He glared angrily at Shen Siyu.

Shen Yanxiao followed up, and when she saw Shen Siyu, her eyes were full of doubt.

“If you go on chasing, you will only die.” Shen Siyu’s face was slightly pale.

“Big brother Siyu. What do you mean?” Shen Yanxiao was somewhat puzzled. Taotie and his brothers were now here. It was a good time for them to counterattack. So why did Shen Siyu make such an unbelievable judgment?

Without waiting for Shen Siyu’s explanation, the Dragon God had already arrived in front of them.

“Believe the Light God. You’re not in a good position to pursue them. Even with Taotie and the others’ help, you are no match for the devil generals.” The Dragon God frowned.

The Dragon God’s words shocked everyone.

How could that be?

During their confrontation with the devil generals, even though they felt the devil generals were formidably strong, they were not unbeatable, either. They were able to fight against the devil generals just now. Now, with the help of nine Holy Beasts, was there any reason for them to lose?

Shen Siyu let out a sigh and asked, “Little Xiao, do you still remember your previous plan?”

Shen Yanxiao nodded her head. It was to rely on Shen Siyu and the Dragon God as the breakthrough points to quickly solve the other devil generals and then join hands with others.

“But as you can see, the Dragon God and I have been battling the two devil generals until now, but neither of us is able to tell the difference in our strength.” Shen Siyu was somewhat helpless.

Shen Siyu’s words were like a basin of cold water that poured on Shen Yanxiao’s head. Suddenly, something had dawned upon her.

While fighting the devil generals earlier, despite sensing the strength of the devil generals, she also felt that there was something wrong. They had been trying their best to contain the actions of the devil generals, but if they carefully observed, not one of the twelve devil generals was injured in their confrontation.

There was obviously something wrong with this situation.

This feeling, it inevitably made a person think that the devil generals hadn’t fought with their true strength at all. The battle just now between them and Shen Yanxiao’s group was merely a house fight, not a bloody battle. They were just probing their strength.

“If I’m not wrong, the twelve devil generals taking action this time should be one of Satan’s plans. Their goal is to destroy the resurrection array, and at the same time to take this opportunity to force out the top powers of the alliance army.” Shen Siyu knit his brows into a frown.
