The Good for Nothing Seventh Young Lady

Chapter 2669: Sacrifice (2)

All of a sudden, a black mist spread from the black lion’s body, and its dark pupils sparkled with a red glint. Nangong Mengmeng felt an invisible pressure hanging over her entire body, and even her breathing became extremely difficult. “You...” .Nangong Mengmeng clutched her chest and gasped for air with great difficulty.

This phantom beast gave her an extremely odd feeling. “Do you want strength?” The black lion seemed to perceive Nangong Mengmeng’s desire and its eyes, glowing red, narrowed slightly.

Nangong Mengmeng was already in a cold sweat under the strong pressure. She bit her lip and nodded slightly.

“l need strength. Great strength... If you can’t give it to me, just go back to your phantom world.” Now was not the time to explore the origin of the black lion.

Nangong Mengmeng only wanted to gain the greatest strength. A beastly roar broke out from the mouth of the black lion. This one roar caused Nangong Mengmeng to turn pale, and she also saw that in the roar of the black lion, everything just outside the summoning array was suddenly being corroded at a fast speed.

“l can give you strength, but I have conditions.” The black lion was very satisfied with Nangong Mengmeng’s reaction. “What conditions?”

“Human being, I used to be an Overlord phantom beast. But all of my power was suppressed by the Wings of Death. If you want my help, then...”

The black lion licked its lips with its scarlet tongue and greedily looked at the girl in front of it .It had not been summoned for a long time, but it could still feel the sacred aura emanating from this girl, and it fascinated it greatly. ”

Sacrifice your soul to me and help me break through the suppression. Then naturally, I can help you fulfill your wish.”

Nangong Mengmeng stared at the black lion in front of her.

“If you don’t dare, I’ll just return to my world. I don’t have time to accompany you humans in your

senseless fight.” The black lion swayed slightly and seemed about to leave.

“l do!” Nangong Mengmeng quickly opened her mouth.

“I’m willing to sacrifice my soul to you. In exchange, you will help me get rid of those demon

beasts!”

The black lion’s eyes gleamed with a smile of success.

“Very well. Everything will be as you wish. Now, I will devour your soul; after this, I will help you

fulfill your wish.”

The black lion approached Nangong Mengmeng step by step. She sat on the ground and watched

the black lion get closer and closer to her; her heart was calm at this moment.

The black lion’s large, fierce-looking mouth opened wide before Nangong Mengmeng, who merely

quietly closed your eyes...

At the city gate of The Rising Sun City, the summoning array was red with dazzling blood. A huge black lion lay on the summoning array, licking his paw contentedly. It didn’t know why this stupid girl was so naive as to sacrifice herself without any resistance, but whatever the reason, at least it had achieved its purpose.

“Get rid of those demon beasts? Stupid human, you are so naive. I’m not interested in participating in the war between you humans and the devils. But I still want to thank you: your sacred energy lifted the suppression the Wings of Death left on me. Now I am free!”

The black lion stood up and let out a roar of excitement. Its body changed dramatically in a short time, and its volume increased more than ten times.

However, just as the black lion was preparing to return to the phantom world, it suddenly found that its soul had been bound by a thin silver chain and it could not open the passage back.

“You can’t break the agreement with me; if you do, you will never return to the phantom world, and my soul will curse you forever.” The girl’s voice surprisingly echoed within the soul of the black lion.
